Is it okay if Nathan interacts with Shiva first when she reaches camp?  He's currently outside the tent, after all.

It'd be a better idea to catch her while still on the way to the camp, since as soon as she finds that the group is at odds again she likely won't only blame herself for wandering off on Route 4 to conduct her own businese while things within the group left unspoken, but also not that pleased to see Nathan's harsh treatment for Heart and Heart having pissed him off. 

Dunno, Kirlia could pick up the blue light coming from Litwick and inform Nathan about it.

Kirlia's stuck in a hammock in the tent.  I could have Nathan take a walk and conveniently run in to Shiva if that's what needs to be done.  Heck, Nathan might even spot the blue fire himself, thinking about it...and he'll have a fairly interesting initial reaction to seeing blue fire...

Eeeeeeee, there it is, two partly magical words from Nathan: "I'm sorry", yay!~ It'll partly help, that's for sure, but as discussed won't fix things entirerly in this case. :/

You know what will? More heartfelt apologies and GIFTS! Those two things always make someone feel better, am I right mates? Of course, given Nate's normal reticence for such big/special gestures (And Dragonstrike deciding not to be spontaneous in such a regard), he'll have to be more readily prodded to fully assimilate this idea, but I can't wait to see what he ends up doing in the future! Well, so long as its not heaping more negativity on her and the group, for one reason or another anyway...

Well, Nathan's pretty down in the dumps still. And annoyed with Heart, slightly annoyed with Ventus...frankly, he hasn't been in a consistently good mood since leaving Corsage, sadly :/ It's a wonder that I was even able to pull enough together to make that apology from him less hollow sounding...

I've still got no idea what Nathan's going to do in the future about this, but before anything really can happen, he kinda needs to get himself sorted out first, or he's going to be wallowing in self pity and anger for quite awhile and won't be able to be of much use socially at all...

None said that any gifts have to happen right away, and neither must they be expensive!~ I thought that Ventus would bring up the idea to Nathan at some point, remembering how he already solved things between him and Nate this way... But I certainly don't want to bring Nathan to do something that feels too outta-chara for him. Until then, she'll just carry the strike of unhappiness around within herself...

Heartfelt apologies would certainly help, but these might be as well a big step for Nathan plus won't happen/be heartfelt for Shiva if he doesn't remember things. Tricky thing here.

Well, there's two key things about this apology that make it worth something in the first place:

1. He still remembers what happened right before he went to the battlefield.  Which means he remembers his plans.

2. Shiva's somewhat angry comment on 'that's not what friends do' aligned sort of well with what he'd learned by the end of the battle, so it's helping him remember a little bit of that.  He can't disagree with that comment if he'd come to the same conclusion himself, after all.

...and those are part of the reason he's pretty downcast right now.

Ven wants to give the boy some space/respite to sort the emotional mess and conflicting feelings within him, before they start trying to needle/motivate him into making any  sweeping gestures of kindness that lay outside their comfort zone. Its only been a day since That Battle happened, and several days inbetween him going apathetic on the group during the Scimitar Base Raid, so they been biding their time for right moment to introduce the idea. Given Nate's recent spat with them over his beliefs/Heart, though, it'll take longer still for my chara to do so, as forcing upon such an idea when his temper is flared will most likely cause them to be rebuked/ignored.

At least Shiva has an apology from Nate and a gift from Ven to look forward to!

@Dragonstrike: Slightly annoyed with Ven? I thought he would be much more incessed at them, since my character said, in so many words, 'No, and quit being rude to us'. Has he grown a tolerance to my chara, I wonder...?
