Nathan doesn't wake up.

Kirlia does, though.  And he looks just a little bit grumpy.  Heart's snoring hadn't lasted long, but good grief, was it loud...to the point where it was echoing in his memory and dreams even now...being woken up so early wasn't helping either...

"Oh dear, I'm sorry for waking you Kirlia, but I have to finish packing up camp soon, unless we wish to stay within this area for most of the morning and afternoon. Can you please help me wake up Nate?"

"They had a few people stationed there just to turn people away. One had a spyglass. They didn't have a barrier up, but they did have some equipment being packed in."

"Oh dear, I'm sorry for waking you Kirlia, but I have to finish packing up camp soon, unless we wish to stay within this area for most of the morning and afternoon. Can you please help me wake up Nate?"

Kirlia sits up, rubs his eyes, and then waves Ventus off.  He'd handle it.

Okay, now THAT got her curious. "And that point is half a day away from here if we walk, likely less for us since we're fresh, right? And how was the atmosphere at that point? Rather intimidating like they are preparing serious business there or not at all? Did you pick up anything else we'd need to know? Do forgive for plaquing you people with so many questions, but it's certainly an important thing for us to know..."

The researcher gave the dancer a questioning look at their rebuttal, as he would be more than glad to help them awaken the boy, but in the end he just gave them a nod and exited Nate's 'room'. Hopefully they would get up and prepared soon, as they wanted to get the tent put up so they could join in the conversation that Shiva was hosting with those travelers!

'So they have workers/guards dedicated to turning others away, but they haven't fortified the area just yet, or whatever 'research' they are conducting doesn't require such preventive measures. Hmm... we might be able to pass through the Divide after all, if we plan out our approach cleverally enough, but I need to hear everyone else's opinion on how they wish to proceed. I would like to get to Stair ASAP myself, but there is no 'I' or 'Myself' in a group , so if they wish to take the detour and avoid confronation with Almanac for the time being, then so be it,' he thought to himself, pondering over this last piece of information before he nodded his head and gave both the weary travelers another friendly smile, and bowed to them.

"Thank you for answering my questions and entertaining my nosiness, but I can't help my own curiousity at times, and I like being up to date on relevant events that my impact my journey. I wish you both a pleasant day!" With that said, the empath excused himself from the conversation, and patiently waited for everyone to regroup so that they are could decide upon a course of action. The sooner it happened, the better, as the longer they dallied, the more they would be set back on their epic journey!

Shiva didn't enjoy that thoughtful-considering expression Ventus was displaying. She knew his vigor and vitality, and if he already conducted lots of field work... Very carefully, she nudged him before Nathan could appear. "Ven... Listen... You, eh, you aren't pondering over scaling these mountains" *dramatically points to them visible in the background* "those that echo the impassible mountains in the Guidebook Professor Mallorn gifted me? Uhm, there are high mountain lakes that I strongly desire to see however, and it'd surely be the fastest way to Stair City... I'm fine with hiking, but climbing...? And it looks like it might start to rain soon."

Heart yawn, finally awaking from the slumber. Then he feel something strange in his and he find some nose splits. He see the Ventus note and. "Am I snore? Never knew." He awake along with all his Pokemon. He do a little exercise then finally to face today. He see Shiva and Ventus and wave for them. "Good morning Ventus! Good morning Shiva! You two sleep well past night?" Heart already put his Pokemon back in the pokeball, except Koa and Viktor who decided to stay out from the pokeball. Perhaps hang out with the that Litwich again.

"Oh, greetings and good morning there! I certainly slept alright, at least as best as I can in a tent." Too bad for Viktor the Phantump though, since Litwick is safely in his Pokeball - Shiva wouldn't enjoy having any of her Pokemon being suprised by a rainfall, least of all a partial Fire Type.

Our very much devisive oddball empath was in the middle of plotting on how to overcome the Almanac blockade when his blessed, mystical friend gently interrupted his train of though, earning her a inquisitive look to which she responded with concern over climbing the mountains. Ventus though about that idea (Which was admittedly similar to Plan B he hastily came up with), before he calmly told her: "It has mulling over the prospect, yes, but I was thinking more along the lines of a more...direct way of getting through the checkpoint. I have a few Plans of how to circumnavigate it, and I would tell you more about them, but I rather wait and say/introduce it to everyone in one go. Still, if it rains then it would be a poor idea to hike on the ruggid mountain in such conditions, so I wouldn't force or consider such thing if the weather decided to turn against us. Our safety is more crucial than making good time on our journey, or at least it should be in my opinion. "
