'A direct way to get through the checkpoint'... Okay then? Somehow, these mountains immediately seemed less impassable. "Sounds fair - you were inside the tent, how's Nathan? Still sleeping?"

"Well, Mr. Nathan Drake still sleeping there. I can't wake him, because, well, he kinda hate me."

At hearing THAT, Shiva had to take quite an effort to not show on the outside how startled she was over that. Nathan hates him, huh? Oh dear Reshiram up there... A mental facepalm later - she can still ask how things developed into SUCH a direction later on - she gazed at Heart in a neutral expression, her voice dangerously quiet. "HEART... Listen right there... Now is not the time to fall into hateful feelings, so I kindly ask you to please not mess with Nathan now. We have to find out what to do now that our initial way got blocked. Fine?"

"It's not my fault. I was just trying to be nice and we have a disagreement, and I kinda have a harsh day yesterday and I was nervous in my skin. Not anything serious but he was asking. You can ask Ventus about what happened."

Ghaaa, of course this is serious if they seemingly hate one another.
Hey, don't start blaming yourself, it's not your fault that they get heated while you decide to conduct your own business.
Not wrong here, but still... I'm away a little and THIS happens.


Shiva didn't reply to Heart at first, and continued to stare at him with a neutral expression and half-crossed arms, considering things with herself and definitely not happy with the situation. "No, Heart, I willl not drag Ventus into this, or at least desire to avoid this. Neither do you have to give fault to you, nor hand it off from you, but I cannot believe that this was entirerly Nathan's fault. See, I won't question you people how this all happened and who said what, at least not now, but I AM expecting from you to nevertheless act friendly towards him or at least leave him alone to not make things unnecessarily worse, alright? No open hostility."

"I will not do anything to him, you can count with that. I will leave him alone I promise. For the time being, we won't do anything to each other. It wasn't my intention to cause any commotion. I sorry."

The researcher calmly watched his dear friend Shiva nag about the schism that form between him and Nate, and politely coughed into his fist to get both of their attention, before giving both of them a slightly strained smile.

"Ahem. ('Oh the irony of this situation...') I have already warned him the other night on approaching Nathan for the time being after the....fallout between them. I don't want to elaborate too much about what happened yesterday night, but in jest Heart came for advice about the Venipede he caught me in the middle of a conversation with Nate, and I decided to play friendship maker between them and Nate while simultaneously educating him on how to properly raise a Poison type."

"My plan had...less than spectacular results. Nathan and myself had a small disagreement over the contents of my advise, both him and Heart exchanged some impolite words with one another, before he left our company for the night. Suffice to say, things spiriled out of control , and that not any one of us were solely of fault for the conflict that came about. I have hopes that both you (Heart) and Nate can get along much better in the future, but let thing settle and leave sleeping dragons lie for the moment..."

Okay, if Shiva/her mind sucessfully prevented self-blaming, now she could barely hold it back anymore. Listening to Ven's explanation of what has happened, she replied to that with yet another - half - facepalm and impercible but clearly displeased sigh, before suprisingly(?) placing one of her hands faintly on one of Ven's. "Thanks for explaining... My, I'm not there for you people, having my fun on Route 4, and SUCH a thing happens... Anyway, now it's too late and there's no point to dig in that issue, is it? Seeing that we have other worries currently... The next time you see things developing into a wrong direction, Ven, feel free to call me when you see the need. Okay? " 

"Uhm, okay then... Guess we wait for Nathan to get up snd get to us for updating him and asking for his prefered solution. Valder, you haven't said anything so far either. What would you preferably do here?"

Even Kirlia was having trouble waking Nathan.  He was completely out.  Simple prodding and shaking hadn't been working very well...and all the while, Kirlia was partially wishing he could use Dream Eater on himself...he couldn't sleep at all while that snoring had been going on...

That gave him an idea, though.

And sure enough, using his psychic connection to convey the sound/memory of that terrible, terrible noise jolted Nathan awake.

He wasn't super happy about such a rude awakening, but he lets it go when he figures out that was due to Kirlia...he wondered just where in the heck his best friend heard such a horrible sounding noise, though...and what the heck was so urgent that he needed to be awake now of all times...

Nathan and Kirlia finally emerge from the tent at this point.  Kirlia doesn't look quite as grumpy now (he's actually trying not to laugh).  Nathan has to squint to try and see in the bright, morning sunlight.

"...*yaaawwwnnn*...what's going on?"

"I think I leave you to talk. Excuse me Shiva and Ventus." Then Heart leaves to a good distance to avoid Nathan presence.
