Alright, I'll wait for that to go up then so Nathan can respond if needed.  I'd rather this not come to XP bidding if we can avoid it, as I would very much like to save my exp for leveling a stat.

Done with my post, and I tried to be as diplomatic and logical with Ventus proposal as possible for this endevour Dragonstrike, so please don't have Nathan go off the handle. I did leave on out for him to come up with an alternative solution, so now would be the time to have him bring up the League Response!

Hey, it wouldn't be just Nathan who'd object on killing these Tangrowth. *sulks just a little because she seems to be forgotten in this*

Though, I'll take the niche and have her head off to retrive both her Pokemon's knocked off items, THEN come back to the scene, so Shiva doesn't hear a thing about Ven's small speech, but instead come back somewhere in the middle of it all. I think she knows Ven well enough by now to know on her own that he might want to kill these defeated foes.

It made sense to Ventus, but he still ended up entirely disagreeing with your character's argument. The only reasons I could see him NOT wanting to kill/capture those Tangrowth is that he's just that done with Nathan's being (to him) so stubbornly unreasonable on Justifiable Poke Death that he's consider them almost an entirely lost cause, and that they had a point in the League being able to take care of the Grass types (Even if he expressed it in such a way that Ven found it distasteful). My character, and by extension myself to an extent, just don't want to keep fighting about this contentious point, so we won't. 

That doesn't mean he's going to stop or alter approach to 'Bad Pokemon', though. He's just not going to consult Nate about it anymore, and keep any such acts of 'Justice' hush hush from the boy. Shiva too, if his actions would be too much for her to handle, but with them at least their is a chance of his ideals being accepted for what they are.... Which means that if it this crops up again, we'll have to start Bidding prior to posting replies, as if Ventus is going to straight up and slaughter naughty 'mons, then I can't very well make a post until I have the garitee he can do so unrestrained.

Also, Ven has 5 Vitality now! Woot!

@Iron : If I just send Tangrowth to Ventus' PC, will that automatically cure them of their Toxic Status, or will that not work in that instance? Also, how much Poke would he get by just putting up an offer for it in Stair City?

Sure, it'll trigger an alert on the PC and the thing will get medical attention.

I was actually considering having Nathan throw in a little bit about Cynthia in that last passing remark. He considers her a role model (not surprising, right?), and one of the things she mentions a lot is her love for pokemon and belief that all people and pokemon serve a purpose in the world. (Interestingly enough, she used to believe the exact opposite according the anime, being more like Paul in her younger days, only really desiring to win with the strongest possible pokemon she could gather)

Ultimately, I decided against that since the meaning would have probably been lost on Ventus for the time being :/

Yeah, it would be lost since my character is clueless about her status and the finer details of her ideals. Even if he knew that, though, he would still stand by his beliefs. They served him well thus far, and are powerful in their own right; he just doesn't know how to balance them out against others yet.

You managed to do something one step worse, mate: you legitimately pissed my character off with that remark. Ventus hates the concept of heroism, since its the one thing he never could achieve, despite everything he tried to do. He's quite bitter about that.

Quite frankly, that's why Nathan said it.  It's not hard to see Ventus wants to be a hero considering his background.

Ironically, Nathan doesn't want to be a hero, yet here he is trying to figure out what to do about Mesprit and the Skull Ruins...he'd much rather be on the outside looking in than on the inside trying to sort these messes out.  He has enough to deal with himself as it is...

When things settle down a little, the two of them are probably going to have to have a LOOOONNNNNGGGGG talk about this...
