Well, that trade went far better than Nathan had expected it to.  He's in a somewhat decent mood when he walks back through the Center's doors.

(Up to Ventus to initiate the trade for Solomon.  Nathan's not thinking about that currently)

"Yes, you get the items. I hope you will use them on your Pokemon to make them happy and healthy, or to acquire a new friend. If you want to reward your Axew for a good job, maybe you could buy it a Luxury Ball or Friendship Ball."

Luxury Ball will increase the rate of Happiness gained, Friendship Ball increases Loyalty.

Once dinner has been done - amongside her current Pokemon bar obviously-sadly Tropius - after Shiva finally decided what she'll order from this mass of offered dishes and snacks and whatelse here, she made her way to counter of the Center again. As for the Poochyena, that was kept under the table hidden away from people and occassionally received a little of her dinner.


Along the way, she also snatched a flyer advertising the Little Cup held in this city as welll as ask one of the Nurse Joys how the video-connections to other regions, especially Unova, are. "In every Center I've been in Chreshire so far, the connection is pretty instable, making it a gamble whether I get through or not. Seeing all the lovely technology here, though..."

Shiva is in earshot and eyesight of her party members.

"I will think about it. I would like to get the items and go. I choose the items or what?"

No, the items are 3 potions and 3 pokeballs.

Nurse Joy: "We have a great connection, probably the best in the region! It does fail sometimes, but it was working this morning. You may use that PC right there. It has the widest screen."

After congradulating Valder and Piloswine on the job well done with the King's Rock ("Outstanding work, my friend! I promise you I'll repay you for this favor in the future, after I have resupplied and garnered my own accounts!"), Ventus returned to the grand lobby area of the opulent Pokémon Center, going over to the PC and swapping out Michael for Slowpoke, before equipping the sloath with the afformentioned Item, before making his way to his empty table near the doors. Despite the throngs of people in the Center, he managed to somehow keep it all to himself; perhaps his aura of Unfetterness was still lingering, and driving off would be sloachers.

The moment Nathan walked through the front doors, the researcher was already there, standing right in front of the boy with a polite smile on his face. He had easily detected and recognized his friend's own unique emotional pattern when he came within his empathetic range, so he decided to be prompt rather than wait for them to find him instead. That, and he wanted to conduct this promised trade immediantly, because despite no longer feeling warped by the boy's actions, he was still increadibly furious and frustrated at them, so the longer he was in their presence right now, the more likely he would do something he'd regret highly later on.

Still, nobody sans Kirlia would even know judging by his appearance and manner, though Nathan might be somewhat aware of the aura of discontent that was projecting from him. "Nathan, I believe I promised to trade you for Solomon after I have forged the King's Rock, which I have now done so. If you would follow me, we can conduct this exchange and go about our respective business for the night," the sociologist kindly said, no edge or rancor in his words at all, but they were convery with such formality and a lack of warmth that a Britsh Gentlemen would be impressed.

Kirlia just cocks a head at Ventus, seeing a much blanker space there than normal. But that's fine, it doesn't threaten Nathan, so he's not too worried about it.

"Oh right. Sorry^^"." After Heart get the items (wait to fill inventory information) he thanks again the guy. "Again, thanks the information you gave me sir. And sorry if any question of mine annoying you. Until tomorrow sir! And good night!"

Flashforward active!

After Heart get the items, he takes his time to give a look in the city. It's indeed incredible and beauty the night in Star City. Tomorrow after the work he might go around the city to take a look and maybe find a good battle or look others attractions. Heart then decided to go to the Pokemon center to heal his Pokemons after the work and find the others (since he forgot to give Shiva his number).

When he enter the poke center, he see both Ventus and Nathan stare each other. Even from there he could feel the sense atmosphere, so he simple give a weak wave hand then he go to the nurse. Heart will not interrupting anything this time between they. And Heart still cautious about Nathan. Heart it's a nice guy in mostly time, but he is capable to ignore someone for a long time if he feel offended. And after Nathan attitude towards him, Heart will avoid Nathan for quite a time. The only time he doesn't do that was when they reach the city and fight the Tangrowth because of the necessity. 

Heart then go in the direction of nurse Joy and ask her to heal his Pokemons.

When Ventus would arrive at their room - THEIR room, oh Reshiram, Shiva will have to get used to this thought at first... Like, true, they've already shared a room and Ven never even hinted on the slightest thing that does even have a small chance to make her uncomfortable, but seeing that they are roommates now... Eh, anyway, she'll get warmed up to it rather quickly if trusting her feeling.

Anyway, she already upgraded the room to a her familar flare, yet toned to not accidently startle him. (Windos, you once told me Ven has nothing against Mystic after all.) That meant no candles, no dream catcher - though that was not by choice, sob - but still dimmed in light and filled with fresh air that gave a hint of a recently burnt incense made of a mixture of herbs. Every book she collected so far bar the one about Earth Lore is neatly placed on the table that belongs to every room, Hitmonchan's Guide had several bookmarks in it. Every single one of a different light colour.

Speaking of the table, the black-spotted egg has been places there as well, comfortably nestled up the fluff Cottonee shed and gifted to her Master earlier (it's not crafted into a plushie yet). Depending on what is strongly assumed of hatching from a particular egg, i.a. the close surrounding plays a big role for the wellbeing of the hatchling, that much Shiva naturally knew. (you nerd) For example, both Grass and Bug Types enjoy a heap of grass or hay to curl up in when being freshly hatched, Fire Types logically a heat lamp, special Pokemon like Pichu/Cleffa/Azurill always are thankful for a fluffy bed or pillow to rest on, while maybe suprisingly both Psychic and Dark Types as well as selected Dragon Types prefer a calm and silent place with a possibility to retreat as lots of them are either precocial species or outright wary of people.

The presence of the parents is always helpful for an egg, but it reaches its peak when being close to hatching - most wild Pokemon stay very close to their egg at this point. Well, a slighty pity that Shiva not only had no idea where the egg came from at all, neither what may hatch here, so it'll be her task to stay close to her young the hatchling and at least provide the basics every Pokemon would enjoy at that point: A cozy place to rest on and hide among if desired = Cottonee's fluff, the fruit Shiva picked from Tropius while being at the park prepared on the familiar orchid-patterned ceramic plate and a little of that crystalline water from the tarn in a glass.

As for Shiva herself... She was already dressed for the night with a long navy dress with white frills at the seam but insightfully wore a comfortable black hoodie over it, and was sitting at the table paging through her journal in all serenity. She won't say more to Ven than wishing him good night in a warm and soft tone. (He can say more if desires though.)

Mechanics:
Shiva won't turn in for bed until Ventus has returned, as she can't lay down for proper rest while her roommate is still running around outside. If the egg hatches now/this in-game evening, great; if not, maybe she'll be suprised in the mornings then. Ven is adviced to leave the hatchling alone if he wakes up before she does or at least wake her then.
