This is...kinda ironic if you ask. Pancham be adopted son of Shiva since she is fairy lady and when he evolves to became Fighting/dark, 4x against fairy. This would be a interesting scenario.

The egg originally belonged to Vincent, though, an ex-police officer that was with the group at the start of the campaign (played by Dies Irae).  He left the group for various reasons right before we got to the end of Route 01. The egg got sent to the group later for unknown reasons.

He was.  I still wish Dies Irae hadn't left for a lot of reasons. :'(  He was an awesome addition to the party.

Huh. Interesting. Monferno and Pancham have the same species category: The Playful Pokemon.

Pangoro also can't stand bullying despite its bad temper.

Though I kinda doubt Shiva is going to be a big fan of Pokemon Sun's 'dex entry for Pangoro:

It boasts superb physical strength. Those who wish to become Pangoro's Trainer have no choice but to converse with their fists.

Also of note is that Pangoro from Gen 7 can actually learn Bullet Punch as a Level 1/Evolution move in Pokemon Sun and Moon (might be something unique to Pangoro from Alola. Pancham having it is a little strange, though). And Drain Punch, Outrage, and Focus Punch are all potential tutor moves for Pangoro in gen 6 as well (and Pancham as well with the exception of Outrage).

I just looked the Pokedex just now and you right. Perhaps that would help since they are both from the same species category? And they have a similar temper?

I have imagined now Shiva swapping punchs with Pangoro just now. And became a famous wrestler. The famous witch fighter: The Witch Fairy! Or perhaps the Fairy Queen of Calamity! No too long. Hmmmm....Ah! I know! Witch Dragon Slayer, Fairy Queen Shiva!

OOC is a story for another time.

In character, Vincent chased after a Voltorb on Route 01.  There aren't any wild Voltorb on Route 01.  It's presence there is seemingly connected to strange plants that we simply know are called Deyo Flowers.  Nathan has a couple in his bag currently that he's had since we reached Corsage Port.  He's also got Deyo Powder, which is an herbal medicine that grants the consumer temporary HP. Wherever Deyo Flowers are, a pokemon not normally found in the immediate area is almost certain to appear (Staryu can't be found on Route 01 either, but that's where Nathan got his. It might also be why we found a Comite just outside Corsage Port). Oh, and Ventus absolutely despises these flowers due to their fae-like appearance and how 'bewitching' they are for some pokemon (not all pokemon enjoy them though. Kirlia likes the flowers the most out of all the party's pokemon, but Swiftfire would rather avoid them, for example)

Anyways...that Voltorb blew up in a juggler's face.  The juggler was fine in the end, but the Voltorb went flying far, far away, towards the Great Divide.  Vincent couldn't leave a rogue Voltorb lying around, so he separated from the party and went after it.  After that, for unknown reasons, he decided to strike out on his own instead of continue traveling with the group like Mallorn had originally told him to do.  The group doesn't know this, but the egg incubator that Pancham egg was in had been slightly damaged by the Voltorb's Self-Destruct, so OOC, I believe Vincent sent the egg to the group because he didn't have sufficient tools to continue caring for it.

All we know of Vincent's last known activities are he supposedly saw a Vivillon while in the Great Divide (pattern only known to Vincent so far), and that he did manage to reach a town/city okay afterwards (probably Stair City since that's the general direction Voltorb flew in).  We haven't heard from him since, but Nathan has his phone number (don't remember if Shiva and Ventus do or not, though)

They're not aimed at informing anyone in particular, just some interesting observations since I was curious about how Pancham/Pangoro learns those moves.

Bullet Punch in particular is interesting because, however unintentionally, it means this Pancham potentially has Alolan origins.

@PhantomUnderYourDesk: Considering that you are going to be raising it into becoming one of the myraid members of your team, knowing a bit more about what moves it can learn can really be useful when it comes time to find TMs/Move Tutors to round out its weaknesses! Its how I learnt that Lucifer could learn Iron Tail and cover all his weakness in one powerful (If highly inaccurate) move! Drain Punch/Healing moves in general is also swank, as demostrated by Michael, Heal Tank of the century!
