[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
And a bunch of especially trained Pyroar (that you can also ride if needed) with Hyper Beam in their arsenal? Maybe Blast Burn as well...

Yep, the League is known to have mounted shock troops. They typically don't go for lethal attacks unless nothing else of comparable power is available.

That is a good call, going lethal only if nothing else is left as an option.

That's also Azurill's former owner...

Huh...weird.  I was expecting most of Tandor's water pokemon to be on that list of pokemon the fountain hasn't gotten water from, but it seems the Sea Monsters are the only ones that are...(even Tandor's water type Megas made it, it seems...)

Well, I'm not surprised Corsoreef isn't on there, actually.  Creshire's seen more than its fair share of them, after all.

I'm not too suprised actually as they (Tandormon) aren't even listed in the in-game Pokedex.

Fair point.

Except Corsoreef and Baashaun are since Creshire does see them every so often.

Sounds like they aren't going to reach their goal though if they omit things like Tubjaw and Brailip.

I also wonder how the heck Magikarp made it on to the list of contributors since it learns 0 water/ice moves...must have been a REALLY special Magikarp...

Yeah, the booth actually doesn't know about the Tandormon, if they should be included or not. And the booth is definitely an "app" of the Pokedex. If the Fountain truly requires every water type in the world, there are surely tons of Pokemon who need to go on that list and simply didn't make it! Some completely undiscovered!

There is actually a photo of the Magikarp in question. It's using Water Gun. The trainer is not in the photo...but a suspicious fog is present.

That gives me a bit of hope that Shiva's innocent wish may come... Might visit the Fountain when Azurill evolved and Stair is in Teleportation Range to add Marill to the list.

To be honest, I was thinking about adding some of the crystalline water Shiva still has - but simply her assumption that it's purified = not 'really' originating from Suicune would barely ever be enough to add that 'Mon to the records.

Many of our conventional weapons never even got developed. They'd have dynamite, artillery, and airborne artillery technology but would never have used it.

In the anime a Rock Pokemon can easily shrug off a rocket launcher attack.

Kalos had the Ultimate Weapon, but even that was powered by Pokemon.

So an overkill response from the League, Ventus thinks, would involve massive amounts of Pokemon-related or Pokemon-powered weapons.

Figured that this would be your answer, given the stance you have taken about Pokémon power trumping all and unceromonously rendering some forms of technology/warfare tech in general unnecessary and/or useless. Rather different from mine 'Real World and Full Human History+Its Developments and Pokémon approach" I've gone in my campaign, barring the obviously supernatural and 4th wall breaking shenanigans we get up to their. Not that its a bad stance, since it only serves to emphasis the importance and power of Pokémon in Cheshire and the world over, but I just imagine that some human, at some point, whether in your world or mine, would have eventually developed means of destruction without Pokémon for that very reason, or to use against them even. Different strokes for different people, I suppose!

Man, I'm REALLY looking forward to Solomon's first battle. Going into the battle with 1 Loyalty and 2 Disobedience might not be fun, of course, but there is an upside to it...

Orthros is finally going to get that third Loyalty point soon! Hooray, I'll finally be able to use him without the fear of causing a mass panic if he disobeys!
