I had Astronite, but I removed all of my queues since all of these analyses will most likely be redone from scratch.  Anyone who still wants to do analyses are free to do so, although their work will likely ultimately be scrapped.

Wait, did I miss something? Why are all of our analyses going to be scrapped?

It's partially due to the early state of the game's competitive scene.  As everything changes, the older analyses either have to be updated or redone entirely based on how people are using the mons and what's been banned.  It's the nature of a usage based tiering, really.

Ohhhh okay. In my imagination that sentence sounded much worse. Yeah, put me up for Astronite still. Also, relevant question, but how do we know when the meta will settle without any form of usage stats?

Because the meta has yet to be formed yet.  For now, we are focusing on suspecting and the top threats of the game, and as that is happening, the meta will constantly changing and the optimal method of use for each mon will be inevitably shifting along with the meta.  I put a notice at the top of the thread explaining.

Well, we don't have a way to track usage stats at all yet.  atm, we're just trying to establish a basis for everything for the most part.

Actually, I'm already working in a method to track usage stats and create usage-based tiers, although is a pretty primitive and imperfect method (poweroftibarn knows it). I won't be able to get a definitive version of that method, at least not until we have a metagame/comp scene.

Oh, that's cool. Even if it isn't too good, at least it's something!

I probably won't redo my guides, and leave that task to others who will want to do so. I just want to throw out ideas for people to use and improve on, so I am fine leaving my work as a testament to history. Still, I can refrain from posting anymore guides, until further notice, if that helps...

I'll keep writing my guides, but I won't be posting them here right away once I've finished them. It seems like there will be some in competitive in the next patch, so I'll wait for that and see what happens.

Highly uncommon to see me here, huh? But I just wanted to say I actually kinda enjoyed reading through your guides... *adds in lower voice* and liked the names you gave your sets...
