Unless they were to put a switch in to disable animated sprites, I'm sure the answer will be no. They're actually adding more animated sprites gradually, I believe.

I would like that option as well. Never been much of a fan animated sprites myself, so I would like to see an option where they could be disabled as well. If not, it should not be hard for people to replace the new animated sprites with the old ones (assuming the devs didn't tie the new sprite to anything else, or that reverting the changes manually will not cause a crash).

What about a Battle Frontier?? Like in Pokemon Emerald. I spent soooo many hours in that place... Is almost the only thing to do once you finish the game...

Improve Frame rate is always a good thing. other than that you can add more customization options for your trainer like Pokemon sun and moon or make it so your Pokemon follow you or bonding with your Pokemon.

Twitch had actually planned to put the Assault Vest in Kevlar Town already. I think it was even already coded into the patch-to-be when the Silence fell.

You don't have to Surf between West and East. You can use the Ferry in Venesi to go back to Bealbeach.

There's a sailor in Bealbeach that will take you to Venisi City for only 500 poke-dollars. But I definitely agree being unable to fly between East and West is annoying.

Uh... I actually like those new animated sprites, but sure, it's personal taste. Slowing them down a bit would be fine though, like Selene already said somewhere.
