"Okay then. I heard there some rare Mudkip around here, so I might want try to catch it if possible. Well, if it is permited of course." Heart notices Kirlia still a bit rough about last battle. Then he decided to ask something to both Nathan/Kirlia. "Hey Kirlia. Are you okay?" Heart decides too bring Rose and Vitkor. They might want to walk a while out of the Pokeballs. "Viktor, could you make some company to Kirlia? He might like another Pokemon friend who knows?" Heart thinks its a good idea because Viktor its a bit shy so perhaps this not annoy Kirlia? Perhaps?

Action: Viktor to present himself to Kirlia and help him (Kirlia) interact a little more with other Pokemons.

With the Great Divide in the background, you set off across the plain. You soon find that it is far from empty, and not flat or featureless either. There is plenty of plant life and topography. Nathan is able to scout slightly ahead with Swiftfire, keeping the path well defined and clear of obstacles. Berries are plentiful!

As a bonus, Valder finds a fat bush with 5 Oran Berries, enough to split among the party.

The party is moving at different speeds: your mount, your steering, and how many people are on your mount makes a big difference. Distractions can make a difference too!

In among the small wildflowers are several Pokemon. Ventus is perhaps relieved to see none of the mysterious Deyo flowers. But there is Long Grass, its tough blades waving in the mild April wind. You can see the trails made by Zigzagoon from any distance, just by watching how the Long Grass bends. And Spearow look for seeds in there too. But the most common Pokemon here are Sunkern and Roselia. (unlimited)

When we were doing the journey though Metagross, Viktor was quite curious about the orders of his master, but decided to follow. Its never hurt to meet a new friend like Litwik! Following his order, Viktor careful aproach Nathan and shy wave his hand, showing he is come in peace. He is a little shy and scare about Nathan atmosphere, but he careful aproach Kirlia and presents himself to him. He wave his hand to him, but dont aproach much to not invade his personal space. He will only aproach if Kirlia master let him interact with him (Waiting Kirlia interaction about that).

Flashback off:

Heart meet a few Pokemon: Unfezant, Patrat, Roselia and a few other. But one Pokemon catch his attention: Scyther. A rare, strong, and dangerous Pokemon and one of mostly favourite ever pokemon. Heart order the Metagross stop for a second and he drop.

"Even if I already have a Steel type Pokemon, a Bug/Flying pokemon its a interesting choice to let it pass! Also, I remember seeing a Metal Coat in the Departament Store...neat!" Then Heart slowy aproach the powerfull Scyther when thinking his strategy. "Hmm, bring Viktor its bad idea since he is weak against bug. And that Scyther perhaps have Flying and Dark moves, who is not a good idea. And he look strong. Perhaps Rose have a disavantage since he is Flying-type, but she is my stronger pokemon. Yeah, I will do that. No time to Shiva style now, go Rose!" Then Rose as come.

"Okay, lets begin with something not so strong. Rose! Focus in avoid Scyther first attack! Then when you got the chance use Flame Wheel and Mach Punch! Time to test your new move! I want catch that Scyther so lets do it!"

Action: Dodge Scyther next attack and then use Flame Wheel and Mach Punch. Reduce the HP to 0 and try catch the pokeball. Something like the time when I get Rhyhorn (Page: http://pokemonuranium.co/forum/showthrea...ht=rhyhorn)

Action: Avoid two nexts Fury Cutters if Scyther use, them use Flame to reduce his hp. Then try use the Pokeball and caugh it.

(Huh.  Didn't even know Phantump have arms.  Learn something new every day, I guess.)

Kirlia is, understandably, a little on edge.  Viktor's a ghost, after all, and he's not exactly in good condition right now (still at 3/7 HP since it's only been 3 or 4 hours since the battle).

All Nathan says on the matter is, "Had a bit of a rough encounter with a right jerk of a trainer right before we left.  Wasn't any time to heal him.  Calam got hit pretty hard too.  Kirlia, you and Yule hang back with the others for a bit.  I'm going to scout ahead with Swiftfire and the bees."

Nathan pretty much leaves Kirlia to his own devices otherwise. Noticeably, Kirlia steers Yule clear of the metagross. Particularly the one Ventus is on. (Let's give Empathy a +1 for 6 exp while we're at it, shall we?)

Nathan's also pretty glad to be a bit farther away from Ventus right now. The distance helps relieve some of that nervous fear/worry.

Nathan sends Princess and Zippy off to aid in the scouting.  It proves useful in noticing larger obstacles before they become problems.  

Except a little while later, the both of them come back in a right hurry!  Nathan can't quite tell what's going on, but he can tell they want him to follow them.

Wonder what's got them so worked up?

Nathan's Pokemon have found a strange, strutting bird Pokemon. Almost its entire body is a beryl green, except for its magnificent crest, which is the same shocking magenta as some of the long-fringed wildflowers on the plain. Golden scales fall from its feathers in a glittering rain whenever it preens or struts. When it senses Nathan coming, it startles and wiggles sideways until it merges with a patch of magenta flowers. It holds still, and becomes almost invisible.

Shiva is wandering in the flowers, looking for special ones, when she trips over something that turns out to be a molehill! The furrow in the earth shakes, and out pops a Drilbur. The ground near her head shakes too, and out pops ANOTHER Drilbur! They seem very curious, but one of them is sharpening its claws menacingly, like a chef sharpening a long knife on a metal rod.
