She was rather hesitant to catch Ven's attention. "Eh... Ven, do you actually want to carry your Mystery Egg on your own while we're resting? It's not that I mind carrying it for you, but, you know, the Pokemon inside will be yours, so..."

The researcher picked up on the slight nervousness that pervaded Shiva's tone of voice/mind, and with a small, reassuring smile he reached over to grab one of their hands, as if to dispel those negative emotions. "Yes, I would like that very much. I have fond memories of sleeping with Raphael's carefully bundled up in my arms each night until they hatched, so why not make more of them by doing the same with this Egg? For the time being, I would prefer having my Egg with me during the Nights while you carrying it for the day, as that arrangement allows me to spend time with my newest child to be without sacrificing a party slot or depriving it of precious speed up gestation time thanks to your Litwick? Does that sound agreeable to you, dear?"

'dear' was echoing in her mind, as well the soft touch of him taking her hand. Would she ever get tired of such care? Likely not. Should she join and adress him with the same term of endearment? Would he rejoice? There was nothing bad or wrong about it actually, but...

The mentioning of him sleeping the hours away with the Egg a tiny Togepi would hatch from eventually close in his arms caused Shiva to listen up closer and face him directly for a second, as this was usually not what a Breeder does... But on the other hand, none said Ven was one, and it was nothing new that he saw his Pokemon as replacement for his family - so after a moment, the imagination of what he described gave a Shiva a sweet entranced 'Awwww!~'-expression that lasted a few moments before being honed down a little to a 'normal' coy smile. "How cute! Eh, but sure you can have it, just give it back to me tomorrow before we depart... So, well, of course it's agreeable. I don't have Litwick with me currently though, do forgive me - but Braixen's fire burns just as hot in his inner."

Hmm? Oh, right... Yena was overly fine, so he wasn't recalled as she and Ven reached the place they decided to set up camp for the night. It was amusing to see how Yena has occupied with playing, biting and reaching all the Gourmet Food in it while they traveled on on Metagross, she simply couldn't just recall and force him to rest now. So instead, she kept him close and (as said) later curled up on her lap if he liked. When Heart noticed and called him 'beautiful', part of Shiva was delighted over such a compliment for one of her Pokemon, another part of her drew the dog-hyena closer to herself to express it belongs to her. Heart introduced himself as a Collector of Rare Pokemon, after all... Nevertheless he earned a soft "Thank you... I never saw such a Poochyena either."

Wait, did he really said that he caught a Scyther? The same species that formerly harmed... Shiva couldn't help but to throw a suble worried glance over to first Ven, then Nathan, before carefully looking away. More to herself/Yena she faintly mumbled something like "Keep it and it's claws from getting at our throats, please..."

The fact that she didn't reacted overly negative or worried was more a sign of exhaustment than anythingelse.

"Ah dont worry about that. I see worse things in my travels." Say Heart when puting some soup to himself. "I remember a time when I was inside some old ruins not cataloged before. It was close to a region I dont recall now. When I go inside I was attacked for something incredible: A Metagross made of stone and grass! I dont know if it was a Delta or not, but I remember almost be defeat by that thing, and run for my life. This day show me to be more careful about enter old places. Man that was a scared adventure." Then I look Shiva hug close Yena close to her and Heart couldnt hold and laugh a bit. Not laught in her face, but because of the situation. Its a normal reaction about people when they know Heart is a Pokemon Rare Colletor. "Dont worry Shiva. The Pochyena is yours and my principle is never steal a pokemon who belongs to another person, even more a friend of mine! So do not worry my friend. I just admire by such beautiful pokemon, but I would never steal from you."

Shiva was casually yet attentive listening to what Heart had to say, and minutively relieved a little. He called her a 'friend', how neat that sounded. She didn't felt like eating much at the moment, but now that Heart already prepared something, how rude it's be to simply pass on it! Turned out as a good decision, as the soup had a fine and refreshing taste. That was nothing compared to the smell it gave though... Where there some special plants in it?

A Metagross made of stone and grass also...? Throwing a glance over to their Metagross on loan, Shiva found it hard to imagine them without their metallic surface but with plant parts on them instead...? Eh, anyway, sounds like either a real Deltamon *frowning  on the thought, as if thinking of something unpleasant* or another tall tale from Torren. Like these Eevees with much more fur than normal, being able to tranform into one of its evolutions...

While looking for a clear space to train, Valder stumbles upon Nathan picking flowers. The stoic mercenary doesn't say anything but shoots him a look that speaks loud and clear: "What the...maybe I shouldn't ask."

(Well, that's one way to solve this.  Probably for the best that Nathan doesn't get tackled by Kirlia right now as well, so I guess this works)

Nathan waves at Valder when Zippy alerts him to the mercenary's approach. There's a huuuuge smile on his face.

He's really, really happy.  Weirdly happy, considering the current situation.

"Now that I remember...the Region is called...Torren or something. Its a big region, filled with some types of Deltamons. They still rare of course, but it still possible to find something neat. I just came close to that region, but I do not explore much. One interesting thing in the region its the Starters in that Region is just one, a Eevee. But you will not believe that: The Eevee in that Region have a Mega Evolution. At least it what I could heard."

"Good to know was okay with the last encounters." Heart was quite a little tired too with all the action this morning with the vines and the Scyther. "Damn, that Scyther give some troubles, but I could capture. But It will be dificult to raise him." Heart could see Shiva holding the winged pochyena. "I never met such Pochyena before, not even in my travels. Its beautiful the little one." Heart give a little smiled. Heart give Shiva a soup to her eat. "You should eat something. We all tired and hungry after everything. We couldnt even have a decent breakfast."

Ventus perked up from the warmed relaxed state he was in when Heart come around and distributed bowls of simple (yet simply divine!) soup, and dug right in with a slow but deliberate motions characteristic of a person that just had a long day of strenuous activity and was left famished by it. He focused on his food for the most part as his blessed friend and the collector chatted about Yena and the collecter's somewhat harrowing past experiences, but frowned to himself the fae lass become moody when the topic of Delta Pokémon came to the forefront once more. Heart's acquisition of a Scyther was also of great interest to the often eccentric scientist, given his own run in and brief ownership of the species, but he decided to push that thought to the side and focus on Shiva's reactions to the conversational topic at hand. Its not like he couldn't offer his own advice to the man at a later date, after all.

'Deltas are fascinating creatures and offer a wealth of information concerning the natural evolution/growth of Pokémon into entirely different species, but it appears that such mutations are more bothersome than not for Shiva's sensibilities. Of course, considering her occupation and years of experience as a Breeder, such oddities would be more disconcerting and 'unnatural' in her eyes, especially since a Delta's presence could have long reaching ramification on the average individuals of its species. That, and the groups encounters with those demonic Houndour and that bastard Nathan forcing her to accept his pet monster has worsened her opinion on abnormal Pokémon even more. *Sighs* Hopefully nothing amiss will result from this trait of hers, but I'll always be by her side should she need me,' the researcher thought to himself, finishing up his bowl of soup while pondering and reaching over to give the mystical lass one last reassuring hand squeeze, before getting up from his spot by the fire.

" Thank you for yet another fine meal and for interesting dinner conversation you provided, and I greatly appreciate the companionship you provided for me this night, Shiva. I believe, though, that its time for me to rest for the night in order to ready myself for our journey through the swamplands, and I suggest you follow my example in due time. We have a long day of treacking through difficult terrain ahead of us tomorrow, and I certainly don't savor the prospect of enduring such journey while half-exhausted! I bid you to a good night, my friends," the sociologist said, before he departed from the gathering by the fire and entered the tent for the night, Lucifer cuddling in his tweed sweater and lightly dozing himself all the while. May Reshirim guide them all tomorrow, and protect them from the worst the swamp has to offer them!

Order: Ventus is going to bed right now, so all their is to do is wait for the new day to begin! Hopefully the wait won't be too long...

Shiva actually listened up and faced Heart with the same sparkle in her eyes behind the glasses when something caught her interest. This time though, it was neither a rare Pokemon or an artistic graffity on a city wall, it were Heart's words. Away was the exhaustion she was dwelling in it seemed, scattered over the field of wildflowers! If Ven would decide to take a look at how she feels, he's spot, eager and fascination.

"I... I know about a region called 'Torren', Heart! it's pretty far away and most things one does hear from there - or anything I read about it - feels like crazy and unbelievable stuff at the first glance. Like, there is something about a mysterious Cult trying to summon Darkray for whatever reason... I never found reliable confirmations whether they succeeded on this or not. A rumor that totally creeped me out when I stumbled over it was that there is hidden place where Pokemon are battled until death... There's also something about a person dabbling in witchcraft, specialising in the evolution of Pokemon. But...what caught me most is the tall tale about their Eevees can evolve in a form that has way more fur than normally and being able to transform into one of its evolutions when using particular moves... Wait a moment..." In an eager yet somewhat delighted manner she searched for her star-patterned hardcover journal in bagpack; once she found it, she began to turn the pages at a fast speed until having found what she was looking for. "There it is! Does it match with those you saw/heard of?"

The page she showed to Heart featured a printed out and glued in picture of these elusive Eevees. 


"Neither Dad nor Mum did allow me to hunt for a Megastone for Spectral... 'All that vacuuming of the hair she'd loose with so much fur!' they said."
