Rivalry and Quick Attack lets Masq power through a fight against a more mobile opponent with a home field advantage. Toxicroak folds both his arms in over his chest, making the pointy knuckles point safely inward, and bows to Masq. Still like that, his lilypad starts sinking until all but his head is submerged in the swamp. His eyes grow very gradually brighter as he absorbs water.

Masq lets out a victory birdsong!  He would not fold so easily!

...and Nathan makes sure to use an Antidote on Masq as well.

Now that the battle's over and he's no longer poisoned, Masq goes and finds a branch to land on.  (Time to restore some HP with Roost!)

"Excellent battle, Toxicroak.  Mind if we stick around for a little longer?  You seem pretty like a pretty chill frog, and Kirlia and I could use some meditation time.  Masq and my horse can get in some practice too, I guess."

Time for a training session for Masq, Swiftfire, and Kirlia!

Then I use the Pokeball and put Mudkip inside. After do that I free him from the Pokeball. "From this day, we are travel parthneers now. I will cook for you like I promise. Come on. Lets join with the others." Then I going in the direction of my friends with Mudkip beside me. 

Action: Send Nidorino to the pc and let Mudkip in the party. When we meet the Claydoll it will be more necessary "super effective" Pokemon, and Nidorino will have disavantage since he is Poison. Besides, Mudkip is cute :3

Since Nathan is doing a Training Session, Valder is somewhere, Ventus is hunting with Apsis and Shiva has headed to the main path after having picked up her natural loot, it'd be her who Heart would stumble over first.

When he does/wants to do, he'd see that she's currently busy trying to free the path from some big loose tree roots on the way with the help of Azurill's Huge Power. She's also wearing the black Ranger's cloak over her normal clothes to protect herself from mud and accidental scratches, with the hood currently off.

"Hey Shiva, whats up? Need help?" Say Heart when finding Shiva doing some job. Netune jump in his shoulder and with curious look he see Shiva. "Heh, dont need to be worry little, she is a friend of mine. Netue this is Shiva. Shiva this is Netune. I "caugh" him close to this lake. Or better I became befrindly with him."
