[Game] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure: Celadon City Vandel
"Welp, its better than nothing I guess. Time to begin the job. I just hope I able to find anyone...and my Pokemon too." Than Arial begin to open the large vent using the Talon he find. He try to be careful with the job to not break the Sharp since its only weapon he have along with his TPK. And of course he will not try to open a vent with a psychic bullet. He is not Michael Bay to do that!

Untightening the Screws Check (1 of 4) = DEX (3) + 1/2 STR (1) + Perform (1) = 5D6 Dice
(2)(5)(6)(4)(2)

The first screw comes off relatively easily, so hopefull that is a sign of good things to come!

(4)(4)(2)(4)(3)

The second one is removed just as easily, and you couldn't help the excited grin on your face!

(2)(3)(3)(4)(5)

However, that excitement must have cause you hands to shake a little too much, for you hear a small *Chink!* sound as you makeshift screwdriver slips off the rusty bolt. You try again, this time taking a deep breath to calm yourself.

(6)(1)(4)(1)(2)

Unfortunately for you, that bolt must have screwed on too tight, for when you try to unscrew it again you a sharp *Cracking!* sound came from it as a small black piece broke off from the base, causing you to abort the attempt. The knife was still usable as a weapon/screwdriver despite the damage, but you had the feeling 1-2 more failed attempt would impair its ability to defend yourself, or break it entirely. You managed to remove the top two screws from the panel covering the vent, so you could potentially try and brute force the cover off , but that could lead to complications in of itself.

What's your next move, chief?

"Damn." Arial was quite grumpy with this situation. "If I not succeed now, its bye bye escape route. But I must at least try."

Action: Try to open with the vent with the Talon. I feel with luck this time. No pain no gain. If not work, he will try to open with his bare hands.

(3)(5)(3)(3)(3)

*CRACK!*

Another large piece flies of the Talon, reducing the Effective damage of the weapon by 1, and removing the Bleed Effect. However, it was still usable as screwdriver, so you keep at trying to unscrew that darn bolt!

(3)(4)(5)(6)(5)

With a particularly viscous twist with the Talon, you manage to get that blasted screw off, leaving you with only one left to remove. Can he do this without royally screwing up at the last second?

(5)(1)(2)(3)(1)

*BRAAAACK!* And there goes the Sharp Talon, shattered completely as it crumbled in your hands! However, with 3/4 of the screws removed from the cover, you would have a much easer time twisting it off/rotating it to unbar the vent!

Vent Remove Check: STR (2) + Perform (1) = 3D6 Dice
(2)(4)(5)

There we go!  The vent cover is no longer blocking the escape route, thank heavens! You may of lost your weapon in the process, but at least it was not in vain! Presuming you immediately enter it, you manage to crawl around in the crampt confines, making a sharp turn left soon after you entered the vent system and continuing onwards, careful not to make too much a racket. Soon enough you come to an intersection, one way continuing 'straight ahead', and the other way going left. Its too dark to see what which ways goes where, so you'll have to make a blind choice here, sadly.

Speaking of blind choices...

'Hmmm...let's scan the premises and see if we can't sense the presence of anything or anyone, partner.  I'd rather not go in blindly if we can avoid it.'

Quick Flashback before enter the vent

When Arial finally finish open the vent he take a look in the bed he was before and take a few seconds to think. "Hmm, problably the Vampire going to return to take a look in me....perhaps a decoy to late her might be useful."Then Arial return to the wardrobe and take the few cloths it was inside it, and using the sheet he make something similar to his body, like some movies when the prisioners make a fake body using dust or cloths. To complete the disguise he put the sheet in the cloth body, making apear it was Arial still sleeping! "Whoosh. With that, it will take the Vampire to discover it is not me. It will give me some 3 or 5 minutes of advantage. I hope..." Then Arial go to the vent and when he entered he take the front of the Vent and put in back when he enter. That way the Vampire would not discover he enter the vent. At least he hope...

Quick Flashback end

"Now...where should I go? I really wish Gaspar was here...with his cat eyes he could easily see in the dark, or Transform in some Pokemon with light abilities. Like a Litwik or a Charmander....man I hope the others is okay. And Gaspar too..." Trying to not think of it, Arial decides to go left. "Like they say, if have doubt, go left. In the games almost every time works." Then the madman follow the left path, hoping it might help go in the direction of his Pokemons, or at least the exit to find the others.

'Reiner' is quick to agree with your plan, and soon has the Angelica and 'Looker' (Along with their own Pokémon) began to do an individual sweep of the two warehouses, radioing in every 5 minutes or so to keep you updated/make you instantly aware if something happens to them, while you extend your psychic senses to prob each building.

Alertness Roll: Insight (*4) + Survival (3) + Alert (*4) = 11D6 Dice
(2)(3)(1)(1)(4)(3)(2)(5)(5)(3)(5) 3 Success, yikes!

Sadly, due to the place being mostly barren in the way of leads/clues and/or the building being made of a material that totally rebuffs your empathetic prowess, none of your efforts afforded you much needed intel on what was in either building. However, your police officer's snooping did manage to turn up a bag of Sliver Powder, and your best friend in disguise turned up a small container that held what looked to be Honey, only it had a dark amber-orange coloration instead. Well, at least your allies didn't come back empty handed from their search!

Custom Item:

Amber Honey
Cost: Depends on quantity, but a small container is typically worth $750
Effect: A rare and highly nutrition variant of typical regular Honey with an almost heady aroma, it raises the Happiness of a Pokémon by 1 (Without going over 5 Happiness in most circumstances)and acts as a Potion and Full Heal (First Use does not count towards Potion effectiveness). Nice!

Making a sharp turn left, you crawl all the way down the length of the new path and eventually are meet with a new vent cover baring you path, though you notice that this one is not sealed shut by screws, but instead operates on a hinge, which is thankfully unlocked/not rusted shut. Presumably, you also take a peek through it and concentrate hard on hearing ANYTHING suspicious/hostile, but you don't detect either things from your current vantage point. Is the cost clear, or is something lurking out of your range of detection? Neither of those things can be determined unless you choose to exit through this opening, but the option of back-crawling out and choosing the other path remains available too. Hmm....

Well, not much we can do about it, it seems.  Let's check out building #2.  Carefully.

With exacting care and deliberativeness, you and the group slink up towards Warehouse #2 , 'Looker' leading the way to an entrance he'd found earlier on his patrol, but choose not to enter since splitting up always caused complications to arise, whether in movies or reality!

Initially, the interior looked exactly how Arial described: metal crate, boxes, and shipping containers aplenty, all stacked up and scattered throughout the warehouse in varying levels of organization. However, as the group explored deeper and deeper into the building's depths, the surrounding made abrupt and terrifying changes. The floor began to take on a slick, shiny sheen that fiercely stuck to the bottom of the group's feet once they made sufficient distance into the center, drastically slowing down mobility and reducing the whole party's DEX (Except Mew and Angelica's Crobat, who are floating and flying off the ground) by 2! The racks that flacked the aisle you were walking down through had been cleared of crates, and instead had large cocoons resting on the selves; most of them still and silent, but you could see several that were wiggling and struggling, as if something was stuck inside trying to get out. Finally, as you exited the aisle of cocoons that had been unsubltely freaking the party out, the group entered into a fairly sizable clearing, and were greeted with a sighted that caused EVERYONE (Including 'you') to stop in their tracks and go very, very quiet.

For this specific part of the warehouse was FILLED with Wurmple that littered the floor, Kakuna hanging from the ceiling by thin silk threads, and SEVERAL large (You counted at least sixteen) sleeping Beedrill that were abnormal: instead of yellow in between bands of black, it was dark orange, their stingers were black, long and sleek, and they had dark, dark (almost black) red eyes and orange mandibles.

(Picture for Size compassion to regular Beedrill (They are BIG) and general coloration/appearance)

Seeing all this, you had a Eureka moment. You recalled from an interesting article you read that their was a newly discovered variant of the Beedrill species line called (As of now) The Giant Tohjo Hornets  that was hotly contested by researchers as to whether or not it was just a simple (If extremely rare) mutation or as a result of cross breeding with Vespiqueens. What wasn't contested where that they were bigger, badder , and FAR more viscous and predatory than a regular Beedrill, and they preferred to form small colonies in any place sufficiently large enough to house them all. Like, say, the warehouse you stumbled into, and now were in the midst of what looked to be the Nursery area of the hive.

Ruh Roh.

[Ru roh indeed...good thing Weavile, Rhyxemplar, and Gengar all have +2 Dex...actually, thinking about it, does Gengar have Levitate or Cursed Body?  That could matter a great deal right about now...and I take it you meant Weedle, not Wurmple?]

'Everyone...don't make any noise...nor any sudden movements...or we're going to be dealing with some VERY angry, VERY strong bees...we should get out of here quickly, carefully, and quietly...the sooner we're out of here, the better...'
