Snatching that Ditto was worth 5XP. Tandal will take 2 and you can take 3XP to divide as you see fit. 2XP for Nathan, 2 for Tandal.

Nathan takes a moment to look around now that he's finally stopped running...

...there's Kirlia...Swiftfire...both bees...he's still holding the Great Ball containing Ditto...

...oh, right...he has 7 pokemon on hand again.  Well, at least the decision's an easy one this time.  Ditto's currently KOed, so off to the PC it goes!

...thinking back on that battle, though...it was...weird.  That Ditto was newly born, right?  So...why was it able to Transform into a Magnemite if it hadn't ever seen the species before?  Surely, turning into Swiftfire, Kirlia, one of the bees, one of Tandal's pokemon, or the Ligno would have been what should have happened, right?

This was weird...Nathan would have to look into this a bit more later...and probably also explain himself to the newly born pokemon...woo hoo...

Nathan and Kirlia have a sit down while waiting for everyone else to show up. Nathan thanks Zippy for his excellent performance in that battle, Princess for her support, and then sends the two of them off to gather some honey for themselves as a reward. Nom nom nom. They'd be back by the time the group reached Arrowroot Village. They're quite the efficient workers, that's for sure...though Nathan did suspect Princess was likely ordering Zippy to do the majority of the work...ah well, nothing particularly wrong with that. She was going to be a queen bee one day, after all...Nathan just hoped she would turn out to be a benevolent one...he might have to have another talk with her about that, just to make sure...

Heart then aproach Shiva and talk a bit with her. "Hey Shiva, you did a great battle out there! Loose or Wins doesnt matter, as long you enjoy or learn something, its a true wining. In my opinion, the little will grow up something. And you too Yena. You was awesome." Koa was in Heart shoulder and make a smile and a positive finger in Yena direction and Heart a positive finger for Shiva. (Reaction of them Iron please?)

From the pointy rock you can see a tall wooden structure whenever the mist clears. This is the watchtower, which is very near the Kennels. A couple more hours should do it.

Next and probably last step before continuing the path to the village was resturning the fishing rod to Ventus. As soon as she found him, he got it offered back in a faint yet honest smile. "Here. Thank you for lending it to me... I had decent luck with it I guess, but nothing worth catching. You, em, doing well? You look a bit pale..." No, Shiva won't ask why or what has happened. All she wanted to know how was he was doing, and she'd notice if he'd lie.

Ventus, after 'awakening' from his lengthy mediations to find that he had both a great (If HIGHLY discomforting) idea to mend things with Nathan over Swiftfire's Lethal Run in the Ninjack AND a extremely valuable hatchet in his lap with Lucifer on his shoulder giving them the most excited/expectant look they've seen in ages, was in a more than pleasant mood. So much so that the empath was humming to himself as made he way back to the group, Lucifer in his tweed sweater munching on his second apple with a look of pure content of his face, while Lilith was busy taking in the scenery/watching for any threats coming their way. Nobody was going to get the drop on her and her teammates if she had any say about it, hmpt!

That's why when she saw Shiva approaching her trainer she nudged him with one of her wings, quickly getting and redirecting his attention towards the mystical lass with a raised eye ridge, and getting a thankful nod and a headpat from Ventus. Accepting his rod back with a beeming smile and putting it away, the empath listen to his dearest friend thanks, saying to them: "No thanks are necessary, for I'm always willing to lend you hand in any task my dear! Hmm....well, angling is often a sport of severe luck and patience, so don't be too put by not reeling in a interesting catch." Her next question, though, caused an expression of surprise graced his face at the note of concern he heard/detected from her, causing him to promptly place a hand on her should in a sign of comfort and support.

"I'm in perfect mood and temperament this day, so please don't fret over my emotional wellbeing dear! I've just been consumed by my thoughts for most of the evening and reflecting on my journey thus far through Cheshire, so I'm sincerely sorry if my distracted state caused you undue worry...."

Such honest words alongside breaking the touch barrier and assuring that he's doing fine brought him a faint stroke over the cheek with the back of her hand, regardless whether it's shaved or not. "Maybe a little worried because I haven't seen you like this before. But, ehm, nevermind then, it's good to see you're doing well." Shiva will probably stay a little longer by his side, but for no other reason than she was just enjoying his presence.

Several minutes of awkward silence later, "...Shall we..., well, continue the path then, with the others?"

Lucifer was currently quietly hiding away from Shiva in Ven's sweator, not wanting to provoke her or his master's ire again, while Lilith gave them and her trainer a curious look at how bashful they were being, before shrugging it off entirely. Wasn't her business to play match maker, nor did she desire to, so the birdpent was content to let the two sort it out themselves in due time....

He was getint ready his bag in his Metagross along with Viktor and Koa, both of them out of his Pokeballs and helping him with prepare the bag. "Isn't those two a cute couple? Dont you agree?" Say Heart with a silly whisper to his Pokemon. He dont want to Shiva or Ventus heard since Shiva its a little shy and might be feel embarassed with this type of comment. "I think I infect with the shipping virus, heh. I shipping Shintus here. Welp, time to go!" Then Heart jump in the top of Metagross and shout to everyone. "HEY PEOPLE! TIME TO GO! HOPE YOU ALL READY TO EXPRESS METAGROSS! YAAAAAHOOOO!" Then Heart wait for the others to begin the journey though Metagross. He love the feeling of the wind of the hight speed!

Nathan just frowns and shakes his head.  Swiftfire's easily keeping pace just by trotting.  Metagross aren't exactly fast.  Heart is WAY too excitable in his opinion...

Kirlia's quite comfortable just sitting on Swiftfire for now, recovering from those injuries sustained from that Ditto's Magnet Bombs (nothing too bad, just some minor scrapes and bruises.  If -2 is pain is 'first blood' though, Kirlia only barely avoided that thanks to that Oran Berry).  Why, oh why did it have to be a Steel type?  ...*sigh*...well, at least he'd overpowered it, even if his attempts to hypnotize it failed miserably...

A curious look from that Grass Type there on his shoulder right in front of her - certain that Shiva did notice this. Somehow, it amused her. "Oh you, no need to look at me like this!~ Want a few more Dried Berries?" Answer was pretty sure something like 'Yes, pleeease! Sweet food, gimme!', so Lilith got a few more feeded from Shiva's offered hand.

Her stock on these was decreasing again, so she'll probably look into restocking on them in the village. Maybe they also have some cheap or free local specialities there to feed Pokemon with, maybe even something more healthy than these cookies and dried berries alongside the Dry Food.
