[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

3 Insight + 0 Empathy: (5)(2)(1)
Tynamo's Will: (3)(3)(5)(1)

Tynamo finally rolls an eye toward Heart. It appears to be thinking.

Charge
(6)(1)(2)

Its electricity sack begins pulsing. Looks like it will take Heart up on the shock, at least! Maybe it didn't like being dared.

Does Heart allow himself to be zapped?

I'm sorry for bothering you so recently after Apsis' most regrettable encounter with the Ninjack, but I just wanted to- " and that was when he noticed the Egg in clutched in his arms, interrupting his train of thought entirely as he stared at it in wonder. "Oh, you discovered an Egg, if my eyes do not deceive me! How'd you obtain it, especially since most Pokémon in the wild zealously guard their offspring before they hatch!"

Nathan shrugs.  His mood and expression are pretty neutral overall, aside from how puzzled he's feeling.

"It was floating downstream.  Unattended and dangerously quickly.  Egg checker is 89% sure it's a Castform egg."

"Thats what I was expecting!" Then Heart brace himself to a attack of the little Tynamo.

Action: Yes, allow himself to be zapped but try to resist as much he can against the eletric attacks.

The most common foes I face are of the Ground, Water, or Grass types, and Pumpkaboo has some kind of advantage against all of them. And you see the occasional swamp ghost too, if you travel at night. Not to mention it is cute, and very rare! This is the first I have ever seen in my life."

"Haha, it is...cute, indeed!" *more faint stroking of the sleeping Pumpkaboo, before she stopped with that before it'd get awkward*

Hmmmmm. Pondering and instant hesitation strike. "Ehm... Besides, if I'm informed correctly about the village, you people only rcently obtained electricity and produce them on your own right? I wouldn't like to loose contact just because of that... But... but, I have a Fletchling!!! Can I, maybe, well, and  only if you like and agree, write letters from time to time?!"

"Certainly, Miss Shiva, if your Pokemon can find me. If the Pokemon is with you, I can describe my home to it. If not, it will have to search on the southwest border between the Preserve and the Swamp. My village is there."

Tynamo wants to see proof that you have electricity. It leaps out of its puddle and goes wriggling around in your clothes and belongings. It's extremely uncomfortable.

That comment caused the researcher's eyebrows to shot up in mild shock, as he wasn't expecting the Egg origins to be floatsum in a river, nor for it to being a Castform Egg at that! "Truely? Very strange, since from my knowledge Castform are not known to abandon their offspring to the wilds, least of all letting them be swept away by a river, so that the parent of this Egg must have lost it somehow. Well, at the very least you were their to rescue it, so it has a good home with you now for the time being. Congradulations, Nathan!," Ventus told the boy, giving his own limited insight on this and some small praise as well. Its not everyday that you find a rare Pokémon Egg in the wilds unattended!

Soon after he said this he remembered what he had been planning to do with Nathan, and almost let out a small uncomfortable sigh, before they spoke up on the matter at hand. "....Nathan, I want to apologize for Apsis' rash behavior, and her rudeness towards you and Swiftfire. Her solo hunting expedition lead to you having to rescue her and endanger the life of your own Pokémon, and she repaid your kindness by snubbing it outright and ignoring your offer entirely. I wanted to let you know that I have disciplined her for this and will continue to do so for the unforseable future, and that I'll put a stop to her unprovoked and beligerant attitude towards you. I've been letting her do what she pleased without much restraint or foresight, so I intend to correct that failing and work with her towards more positive and productive behavior...."

Heart simple shrugle and continue to stall against Tynamo attacks. "Well? This is the best you can do? I can still continue if you dont see. Oh in the moment I dont have anything eletric but this." Then Heart show the pokeball for Tynamo. He just the Pokeball empty in the ground. Heart knows the pokeballs work in base of energy so maybe Tynamo can absorb his energy?

Hooray! Whole Arrowroot Village will probably still be a quite of a culture shock for her - now that she thought about it, the swamp already was is some way - but if they have one of the oldest...let's call them daycares in the form of Training Kennels, respect and value nature to bits, have unique ways to capture Pokemon AND he was a local and overly a decent guy, why not just stay in contact?

"Thank you! Thanks... Oh, but no, I don't have Fletchling with me currently... But I have possibilities to obtain a Tranquil from my home (means, receive one from her father's breeding stock, see their Corebook's Dext Entry why), so finding you should not be much of a problem. Now then, uhm... Shall me make our way back and meet the others? It can't be that far anymore until we reach the village."

"Yes. Pumpkaboo in hand, I am ready to return."

He's drenched in mud, so he splashes in all the puddles along the way.

Nathan shrugs again.  He's still rather neutral towards the current situation.  Kinda deadpan, even.  Were it not for the fact that he'd just obtained not one, but TWO rare pokemon in the course of a few hours, his temperament would probably be a bit more prickly.
