"There's nothing to discuss. It's been a gift and my Espurr will be kinda mad at you and sad because of me if he doesn't get it back." (⇀‸↼‶) "But fine. Enjoy my fourth Pokemon."
In a flash of white light, Braixen appears on the scene! He draws his basswoodstick, enlighting it in the process and displays a graceful posture as he takes his place beside Cottonee.

Heart looks around for battlers. Almost all of them have been exhausted by your strong party's arrival, but you find one more - the Waxworker of Arrowroot.
He looks up from his clay hive boxes, catches your gaze, and says "I'm ready!"
Time to send out a Pokemon!
"Well then. Lets go! Gustav! Go show them you new move!" Then Clauncher came, excited to begin the battle!"

Foe is still at -1 Vitality due to Leer
Sinkhole Round 3
At the sight of a Tepig, Shiva only raises an eyebrow - not really impressive, but quite a sweet Pokemon. That battle her somewhat ran into has certainly developed into an interesting direction, even if her foe was a jerk.
"Alright then... Cottonee, you keep concentrating on your waterly foe please, show it what a Grass Type can do. Same goes for you Braixen, show that Tepig how your inner flame burns. Just like Marill now has increased power in her water attacks, one day you'll be able to strike back with psychic power."
Accuracy Roll ???Drain 1: 3 Dext + 2 Fight +3 Channel -2 Actions -1 Pain = 5d6
Accuracy Roll ???Drain 2: 3 Dext + 2 Fight +3 Channel -3 Actions -1 Pain = 4d6
Damage Roll: 3 Strength + 3 power of the move + 1 STAB = ...7d6 +1 autodamage. Neat.
Additional notes: Pain Penalization may be erased if enough hp are healed. Switch to Fairy Wind targeting Tepig if Crawdaunt is defeated by the first action.
Accuracy Roll Ember 1: 3 Dext + 2 Fight +3 Channel - 3 Actions = 5d6
Accuracy Roll Ember 2: 3 Dext + 2 Fight +3 Channel - 4 Actions = 4d6
Accuracy Roll Ember 3: 3 Dext + 2 Fight +3 Channel - 5 Actions = 3d6
Damage Roll: 3 Strength + 2 power of the move + 1 STAB + 1 Charcoal = 7d6, but -1 damage due to NE.
Additional notes: Tepig's immune to Burns, so no CD-Rolling. Blaze will be activated as soon as Braixen suffers a Pain Penalization.

"Excelent! Alright then. Time to show your new move Gustav!" Gustav balance his claw excited to test out. "Use Water Pulse three times!"
Water Pulse 1 Acuracy: Dex (3) + Fight (2) + Canalize (3) - Actions (3) = 5d6
Water Pulse 2 Acuracy: Dex (3) + Fight (2) + Canalize (3) - Actions (4) = 4d6
Water Pulse 3 Acuracy: Dex (3) + Fight (2) + Canalize (3) - Actions (5) = 3d6
Water Pulse Damage: STR (3) + Power (2) + STAB (1) + Mega Launcher Ability (2) = 7d6 +1
Notes: Mega Launcher Ability add 2 Dice to the Damage pool/Healing Pool of moves with the Keyword "Pulse" and "Aura" on their name like Water Pulse, Aura Sphere or Dark Pulse. And Water have 3 Chance Dice to Confuse the foe. Such neat combination isn't?

Nathan watches Heart leave.
...then he makes this comment when Heart is out of earshot: "...it's Warren...such a big deal about your name, yet you can't even be bothered to get mine right..."
Shoot...he'd been planning to get Swiftfire that last little push she needed to learn Inferno...the plan to do it now was now completely shot...
...well, guess he better look for alternatives...
Any trainers left, Iron? A quick 1v1 for Swiftfire with a $300 bet would be great.

Quick question: does going to the Bonfire and gaining help for learning how to play his instrument/gather advice about doing a Skial and Summoning the Southern Wind Incarnate count as an Encounter? I've been operating under that assumpation that it is , but I've been wrong in the past, so...
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.

Edit Reason: 800
)
Sinkhole Round 3
"Braixen, use your inner flame for an Ember!"
Ember 1
(3)(3)(3)(5)(6)
(5)(4)(2)(6) Tepig takes 2 dmg 4/6hp -1 pain.
"Cottonee, Mega Drain!"
Cottonee glows brightly green, much brighter than expected!
Giga Drain 1, holding back
(5)(5)(5)(4)(6) And her first time using this new move is a great success!
(4)(5)(2)(4)(4)(3)(4) Crawdaunt takes 3 dmg and is out of the fight.
Sinkhole is watching closely - that move was extremely close to knocking his Pokemon out.
Cottonee gains 1 hp 5/6hp
"Tepig, you'll need to be fast enough for two now! Get Cottonee!"
Flame Charge 1
8 dice, -3 actions, -1 pain = 4d6
(6)(3)(5)(2)
4 str + 2 power +1 blaze +1 stab -3 vit = 5d6+1
(6)(1)(1)(3)(4) Cottonee takes 2 dmg 3/6hp -2 pain
+1 Dex
Ember 2 on Tepig
(6)(2)(6)(6)
(4)(1)(1)(1) No luck there. The pig is far too muddy! He bakes into a clay figurine for a moment, then comes bursting out on the momentum of Flame Charge.
Fairy Wind 2
(6)(2)
(4)(1)(6) Tepig takes 2 dmg 2/6hp
Blazing charging Ember 2 on Cottonee, holding back
(5)(1)(3)
(6)(2)(5)(6)(1)(4) Cottonee is out of the fight.
Ember 3 on Tepig
(6)(2)(4)
(5)(6)(2)(2) Tepig is out of the fight.
Shiva has to switch in Marill. Sinkhole switches in Hippopotas as his final Pokemon. It's 2v1.
Hippopotas: (4)
"I think you have this one in the bag, so I guess I won't make the bet with you I was going to propose. I need to alter it a little. If you can defeat Hippopotas without a scratch on either of your Pokemon, I'll give back the Apricorn and you can ask a favor of me. But if Hippopotas lays a hand on your Pokemon (Just 1 HP to either), you have to go on a date with me to get the Apricorn back. You'll get the $800 either way. What do you say, pretty lady?"

If you take a lesson, I will say yes it does cost an encounter.
