Finally.... The first splash screen

… I somehow fell in love with that title screen, even if it may be incomplete. Like the harsh contrast between the black and white on the sides and wouldn’t mind if it stayed like this, as well as the softer contrast between the upper ominous autumn scene (?) and the peaceful grassland to the bottom. The word “Pokemon” looks a bit… weird in the colours you’ve chosen, but not necessarily in a negative point of view.

EDIT: Damn, I love the finished title screen. Even if the harsh black/white contrast isn't present anymore. That contrast between the "omnious" darker side with the redish-brown and night topic harmonies and the more peaceful calm side on the right makes this interesting.
(Wondering what kind of new ball is lingereing there next the river...)

Thank you! Im glad you enjoyed both, they each have their qualities but in the end the first one felt incomplete. I may redo the river scenery a tiny bit (Later, though), I finished my sprite for Hawthorne (the one that goes through the tutorial kinda like Prof. Oak, etc.) but she teaches the school at Knottwood (Starter town).

That is a special kinda pokeball, it like a master ball it uses the color purple but much darker with some black swirled in their. On the front they have a golden bandana in the same style as a gym badge.

This Looks Awesome! I like the thief class idea, i often find my self wanting to play a Pokemon game where your a team rocket member but have yet to find a good one.

@Ko2o - Thank you! <3 I'm hoping it turns out good. I am thinking about having two rival teams/organizations to pick one or the other which will have different impacts. If you have any ideas or input on the thief arc, please lemme know. I am loving this thread as like a great brainstorming area.

@Xarxaal you could do a thing like when you join one of the teams you can give items and or Pokemon to the leader or your boss and you can get rewarded for it. like how in the anime team rocket tryed geting thing for there boss.

Ah! Yes, like the very rare or certain Pokemon that you can only get by stealing them from _______ trainer. -ponders-

Rare ones might include those ones that have like a 1% chance in areas, or that you have to do something/event that they show up to capture. For example the ones that you had to leave honey out on a tree and come back later and a possible rare Pokemon may be there (Not saying that exactly but things like that).

I think as you steal them if you end up challenging the boss they will have them on their team (or something).
