The Tusk looms overhead, muddy and carved with scored lines. Right where the bees are hovering there is a slightly rockier portion of the Tusk, almost like it has been studded with a random assortment of stone.

Another nod from the sociologist, and he quickly released his beloved archangel from their Pokeball, quickly but clearly instructed them what they should do if any of them happen to fall out their Metagross mount, before awaiting Heart to lead them all to Nathan so that they could support him as they searched the area of interest.

Seeing such.....unique eyes on 'Swiftfire' briefly threw him for a loop, before he shook his head and threw Nathan a Look that could plainly be interpreted as: 'What in Reshirim's name is going on with Swiftfire? As a Pokémon Researcher, I know for a fact those eyes are NOT a characteristic of a Rapidash, nor did your horse possess them before or after tis evolution!' Ventus sure does know how to make his gazes rather ladened with meaning, huh?

What an amazing picture, that 'Tusk' on the starry Chresherian nightsky. N...Not much time to be amazed by the sight though, sadly.

Glad that this worked without any issues. Something about Swiftfire was off, very off - but not too important now. Much more important to Shiva was... "Alright, Nathan... Before we go up there *pointing to the Tusk*, presumable the ends of the Earth, can you explain us what you are hoping to find in or up there, please? Just so we are informed what to look out for... Also, does any of you Pokemon - probably Yule - know Vine Whip? Safety measures for climbing...vertically, you know."

Nathan's to busy focusing, trying to calm down, to turn to face the group as they arrive.  But he's noticed they're there.  Well, Orthros did, and is making sure Nathan knows too.

"...it's up there.  The cave, or whatever else represents the End at the tip of the tusk, the one closer to the sky.  It HAS to be.  Princess has been in a bit of a blissful daze after seeing whatever she saw.  And some kind of pokemon is guarding it, and it scared Zippy.  There's a safe path up for the metagross that Zippy and Princess scouted, but it's not a straight path.  They'll have to go around the loose rocks and dirt, so it's going to lengthen the climb long enough for whatever's up there to notice us."

"...I don't know exactly what we'll find up there.  But whatever it is, Kirlia and I need to get there.  And then get out after we've figured out if anything else needs to be done."

The determination and desperation are there still, but so is the slight lack of confidence.

When Shiva asks about Vine Whip, Nathan just silently shakes his head. "Yule's in the PC right now. I do have a 7 meter length of rope, though. It's about the same length as an average Vine Whip."

Once it was clear that Nathan wasn't going to humor his question gaze concerning 'Swiftfire's' abnomarlities, he briefly turned it on that vile hell hound and glared at it to make damn well sure it got a good concentrated dose of his utter loathing and scorn, before re-focusing his attention onto the boy. "......If that is the case, then its best we make swift, careful haste towards whatever has provoked you Combee's interest, as if we are to alert whatever is guarding this local, we may as well give it as little time to react to our presence as possible. Also, if you happen to have acquired some Rope-ah, so you have, good-, now would be the time to use it to tie yourself to your Metagross and us, so that if something happens you won't tumble off and into who knows what in the Great Divide," Ventus responded, noting the boy's own gallows mixture of negative/positively feelings, but putting it mostly out of his mind as he mentally readied himself for whatever lay ahead. Besides, he wasn't in the mood to humor their emotional fragility, unless he absolutel HAD to....

That's hardly helping with stabilizing Nathan's mood.

Nathan sets Orthros down to quietly pull out the 7 meter length of rope, though.  He also pulls out the 1 meter one and uses it to tie Orthros to himself, since he was going to start freezing very quickly if he didn't keep Orthros close...

Nathan was thankful that the bees seemed better able to tough this out than him...particularly since they're the ones who scouted the path up the spire...

While he wanted to do nothing more than willfully ignore them and redouble his attempts to see if he can't literally start glaring daggers into his demon dog, Ventus begrudgingly accept Nathan had a point, and let the matter rest as they prepared. For now, at least.

Heart lead the way with everyone to Nathan position. When he looks Switifire anime eyes Heart couldn't resist and begin to snort. "Pffft! My Arceus, this is one of the funniest things I ever see! PfffttAahahahaha!" Heart roll in laughts and Viktor who was in his shoulder together with Rose to help Heart control his laughts. "Man, your Rapidash really should look to a oculist, and make a googgles to her. "Hey Doctor do you have googgles with degree 60? Ahahahaha!" Heart roll so much in laughts he fall from his Metagross and hit the ground. He try his best to control but he couldn't. He begin to punch the ground trying to control himself.
