She touches a Pokeball under her cloak, and the steely gray Porygon comes out.

"Mine is still a Porygon. For the Delta type, there are certain advantages that flee when evolved to Porygon2. You'll have to wait for a gym battle to see those."

Porygon cruises slowly around the room, bumping into things as if he can't quite see them or be bothered to care about them.


If you grab a Beldum or a Magnemite, make sure to specify whether it's an Egg or a newborn (newborns have just their 0XP moves).

(A egg Beldum would be cool. Want have a surprise. Who knows, it might come a Shiny? Want be surprise or he might see me as dad or something.)

"My defenses are my own, sorry. Suffice it to say it's a combination of several things. Enough weird electric and steel type Pokemon come in here, and the data is sufficiently important, that I am forced to have defenses."

"In that case, I would humbly request a Magnemite that is supposed to be breed with the Magnet Pull ability. Having the capability to trap Steel types would be rather useful, and such strong magnetism might be useful for other applications."

"Ah, I'm sorry for prying then. I understand the value of privacy and secrecy myself all to well, so I'll cease that line of inquiry. Still, its a rather brilliantly designed system, if my opinion is of any merit!" Ventus replied, inclining his head respectfully towards the Gym Leader, before asking them: "Seeing as we have been debriefed and offered our own opinions on all pertinent matters, do we have your permission to collect our rewards and take our leave? Not that I don't enjoy your company, but like I said I have my own business to attend to, and I don't wish to keep you from yours either. Perhaps later we can have a chance to speak at length about the Steel types here and how they socialize among themselves and humans, though? Such research and study is why I came to Cheshire, and I confess I hold a certain fondess for Steel types myself among others....."

Oh, but before I take my leave, though, I was wondering if you could answer a question of mine: are you aware of any intensely electromagnetic spots in Cheshire that can evolve Magnemite? My knowledge of the species says that it requires such things for its evolution, but since I'm am a foreigner to these lands, my Insight on such locations is.....lacking."

Order: Whether or not Dagney answers Ven's question, I want my character to collect his Magnet Pull Magnemite Egg (Sending it to the PC for now, unless you allow Shiva to auto take it without Phantom's input) and the Nugget, before heading to the Department Store for some window shopping. First things to be seen are the Pokeballs and TMs, before I make any purchases!

"Okay then. I hope we can have that battle soon! Also there is one last thing I would like ask, if its not to much. In our journey, I capture a Tynamo and since he evolve though eletric produce I would like to ask if you can help with evolve him that please? If thats not much I mean."

Naturally, Shiva greatly dislikes Delta Porygon. Dagny keeping it strictly within/around the Gym along with her seemingly large experience with Steel Types ease things though, and decency demands to keep quiet and simply ignore it. Yet, she cannot help but to feel a tad bit curious to see how her own Pokemon handle that special steely creature, and looks forward to see it going down in battle. Figuratively, at least.

Oh, and Dagny is...'forced to have defenses'? Why...? Eh, Shiva does not feel bold enough to ask that, but it'll certainly has its reason. The Gym was rather intimidating from the outside at first glance with all that train tracks and a Metagross, this was for sure.

Sturdy-Magnemite Egg and other generous gifts are thankfully accepted and packed away. Yay, more Eggs to hatch and more Pokemon for her growing pool! (Egg is added to Quick Page, Nugget to Inventory) As a temporal goodbye, the Steel Wonder receives a low and respectful bow. "I thank thee for your help and generosity. Thank you for easing my discomfort about Steel Types to a small degree to enable me dealing with them in a way that feels alright. I look forward to see that Magnemite hatching. Before I leave though... Do you allow me use your PC to swap some party members of mine, please? There is something I'd like to take to Department Store, or rather to the Trading Board up there."

Mechanics:
If Dagny allows, Chicorita and Kyuu are swapped for Beartic and Pineco. Once Nathan has said an agreed part to Shiva, paying the Department Store will be it - especially the Floors selling Held Items, Pokeballs and Almanac's Items, after that we'll go up to the top floor to handle out trades.

[Dragonstrike]

It takes Nathan a moment to fully process what just happened with Porygon-Z and Pulse.    The surprise and shock quickly morphs into apology, though.

"Oh my goodness!  I'm so, so, so, so soooorrrrryyyy for that, Dagny!  That could have messed up your computers, your intercom system, your wheelchair..."

Nathan turns on Rotom and Porygon-Z next.

"Look, I know you two have been in the PC for almost 2 weeks now, but that doesn't mean you should pop out of your pokeballs whenever!  You could have SERIOUSLY broken something important in here!  And if you'd waited just maybe a minute or so for me to ask if it was fine for you to come out, then maybe you wouldn't be in this mess!"

"...just...back in your pokeballs please, you two.  I'll find you both an activity of some kind or something later.  Not now though.  I can accommodate for the quirks and pranks, but there's a time and place for those, and now is NOT that time."

Nathan recalls the two of them, and hopefully they'll STAY there while in the gym.

"...again, sorry about that, Dagny...should have figured they might have caused some trouble...Porygon-Z usually listens to me, but Pulse, well...still working on that with it...or rather, haven't really had the time to start on it yet..."

I actually have a setup whereby I can turn the entire Gym into a magnetic field, but I have to warn my neighbors, and it uses a lot of power, so that is not trivially done. Mt. Molten has the strongest one, due to a spinning conglomeration of liquid metal at its base. To the East and West of Trillium Town are long veins of metal ore, which luckily route much of the magnetic field away from sensitive electronics in the town."

"There's a PC in the Lobby you can use, Shiva. Heart, I have a great recommendation for you: take Tynamo to see one of our generators in the Gym. Tell the receptionist I said you could. She'll arrange you a guide."

"My defenses worked fine, luckily. I SUGGEST, you work more with those volatile Pokemon until they are as obedient as machines."

I need to talk with Kurp too see if his okay and apologize for the time we go out so much time. You invited too if you are free tonigh Dagny. I a good cooker! It will be a surprise! Last time was lasagna and it was a success! Well, I bit you farewell for now."

Action: Hear the response from Dagny and then others, then head to receptionist to arrange a guide to the generators!

Shiva gives Heart a pretty unimpressed and unamused look from the side that she held for several seconds, as if she was wordlessly reminding him on what happened the last time he made food for them. (⇀_⇀) 
As long as he doesn't put any weird plants that he doesn't know into this dinner, she'll join, but she'll be kinda hesitant as all the pain and neausea was something she rather not desires to go through again. Nevertheless she replies to him in a friendly tone. "See you tonight then, Heart. Be careful with the ingredients, please. I have some business to follow in the city, but I'll be at the Center anyway around dinner time."

With that said, she carefully turns to Ventus. "Uhm... Ven, you said you wanted to go to the Department Store, right? Can I, well, join? Maybe just along the way as finding a good person trade Pokemon with might take a little alongside with restocking on goods."

Before they'll head there though (if Ven is fine with that, that is), she'll swap her party at the PC in the Lobby Dagny mentioned. This is where Nathan can catch her up.
