[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins

Uh oh, looks like Nathan's been found out!  Not that it was hard to guess, right?

It disturbs me slightly that they seem to be working with the Aether Foundation in some capacity, if they have access to a modified version of Beast Balls...I would assume the Aether Foundation wouldn't want to associate themselves with a company that blatantly just doesn't care for pokemon.  Though maybe Gladion didn't do enough research on Almanac before approving whatever deal was made...(timeline for this campaign is primarily using Sun and Moons' events, not USMs')

If they were rather upfront about their Items being so SCIENCED! that it will have SCIENCE!effects on Pokémon and DIDN"T cause the Vines Disaster, my chara might be more charitably inclined to do business with them...

Well, Nathan has his 'special' reasons to dislike them as well besides the bad PR.  How they ever found enough of a foothold to get their business started in Creshire of all places, he might never understand...

Even if Almanac was more upfront with their items having 'unintended' side effects, Nathan would probably still vehemently dislike/hate them.

Or it could just so happen that Almanac decided to brand their Pokeballs with the same name that Aether Foundation uses? Regardless, both those organizations working together sends a shiver up my spine, if their are still any neurotic bad apples festering in the technologically mind Pokémon conversationalists mindst....

I also knew that Nathan has more reasons than most to despise the group of SCIENCE!tists , but I thought that could go unmentioned since, well, its kinda well known by everyone in and out of game by this point. No offense meant, of course! Almanac probably got their foot in the door like any other corporation: providing products and services quality/unique enough that it overshadowing their shadiness, and/or having a GREAT PR department that could/still can magic away the worst of potential image issues away!

And they coincidentally have the exact same design?  Hmmm...nope, seems a bit too suspicious to me.  Wouldn't be surprised if Faba had something to do with whatever the deal was...the man is too ambitious for his own good.

Lots of board games, some good progress on my construction projects, and even a small amount of progress on my creative projects!

Oh! And I was invited to join not one but TWO D&D campaigns IRL!
