There are many ways you could interpret it, it seems to me. I bet that's the Pokemon leaving its options open. And maybe none would understand that better than the Pokemon of Emotion."

A part of his words made her half-freeze in any movement, though. She...did not expected that Sid had already been at the Tusk once... Long ago, but HE WAS, whoahw. The first skepticism Shiva held was breaking down more and more, but only the upcoming battle to see how he handles his own Pokemon will make her agree to the trade.
"Eh... Well, as who is at the Tusk now and who is the source of this whol thing, that is a person living there. In a cave of clay with many interesting shapes worked into it. Even his skin reminded on clay, having an od dark orage-red tone alongside deeply white hair and mustache. I name that person an eremit, but I'm actually not 100% sure whether he's human at all... He seems - no, he does - deeply care about the soil, more than he cares about himself, I guess."

"Aw! Such a cute giant Slowking! I love it! So, this Slowking can read Old Unown? That's extremely interesting. You'll be the envy of all if you go into academia. The first in your family to do so, you know."

"Yeah, he can read. And his Hidden Power...well, probably best if he demonstrates it. Would you mind doing that, Solomon? Well, after I talk about the 'ends of the earth', that is..."

"Oh, definitely not human. Humans can't wield that kind of power. Not even with the assistance of a Pokemon. Humans are doomed to always just be humans. Luckily, in our mortality, we have a lot of freedom of choice. I'm not sure which option I prefer."
"Anyway, this Beartic!" He moves on in a rush. "I love it. It sounds really cool, and if the inhabitant of the Tusk gifted it with a touch of Earthpower, so much the better. I can DEFINITELY handle it. Few mortals are faster than me."
"I have two options for trade, and two options for a bonus. First, the bonus: Your Beartic is worth a little more than what I have to trade, so I could either wait a few hours to round up some cash, or I could give you some excellent advice."
"The main thing I'm trading can be either Pokemon or an item. I have a vulture Pokemon and a moose Pokemon, both very well trained. You could have either one. If that doesn't tempt you, I have a rare TM! It's not an HM, like the South Wind and West Wind can utilize, but it's pretty special because it can be learned (once) by any Grass, Fairy, or Bug Pokemon! Certain Fighting Types can learn it too. It's Infestation, the vengeful Plague move! It prevents a Pokemon from fleeing and deals damage over time. What do you think?"

Director North comes in and chuckles at your predicament. He leaves and returns with a brush. "Pyroar prefers to be brushed anywhere that's not near his neck, belly, or tail. The outer parts of his mane are OK. He's actually due for a trim soon because long hair makes him itchy. This is a great way to spend your first day back - should be pretty relaxing unless you upset him!"
