[Game] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure: Celadon City Vandel

The Eevee gives you a sharp nod of their , before they turn back around and begins making its way into an nearby ally, no longer watching whether or not you were trailing after it or not. It knows you'll either keep up, or be left behind altogether. They lead you on a long, meandering path through various dark, dank, and smelly alleys, and several times you were forced to simmer through small gaps between structures/building or parkour over obsticales, but eventually it lead you its final destination: a artificially made den much like the one you found Felicia at the beginning of the week, only this was built live an mini cave made out o debree and loose bricks.

Halting in its tracks, it swivels around and pines you in place with a serious stare that plainly tells you to wait, and once it was sastified you wouldn't run off or come any closer, it hops over and into the dwelling. Several minutes pass before anything happens, and when you think the fierce feral fox disappeared on you, out it came from the den with head held high.....before it look back the way it came and let out a soft, comforting cry: "Eevee....." .

Not a moment later, another Eevee came out, this one looking smaller and more......wane and far more timid and shy than its big sister (Sister? Yes...you can feel kinship between them....) , and he almost fainted in fright when he saw you standing like the intimidating thug you kinda are. Their sister was almost immediately by its side, pressing her body close against his and bumping their head at them while gently *Rumbling* to him, which had the intended effect of calming them down and looking back at you with still nervous but much less fearful eyes.

The fiercer sister gave them a kind smile, before looking back up you with resolute, determination, and grave seriousness. If they wanted to capture her, they would have to take care of their sickly, runt of a brother. It put a LOT of trust in leading you here, but something about you....something told her that you were Significant. Powerful. Respectable.

...so...she was fighting not just for herself...the big sister taking care of the little brother who couldn't fend for himself...

Reiner kneels down, doing his best to look less scary.

"...come here, little guy.  Want some food?  Promise I don't bite."

Reiner lays out some more dragon rations close to the eevee duo.  Not too close though, so as not to spook him further.  Then he backs off a little.  His sister could vouch for the food, and even if he didn't like it, he'd probably eat it.  Him eating anything with some sort of substance would be better than the alternatives, it looked like...

The poor little guy actually flitches when you speak and almost shies away, but his sister is right their to support them with even more snuggles and soothing noises. Big Sis then leads him over to the spread out food, motioning for that it the food was good, and they should dig in. With an almost extreme amount of reticense on their part, the runty brother did so, slowly but surely coming closer to begin eating their fill. Unlike their sister the High Quaity Dragon Rations were not particularly appealing to him, but it was still good enough, as they took deliberate bites out of the pile.

Once they had their fill, the Little Bro looked back up at you, still timid but clearly grateful for feeding both him and their sister, and less likely to drop dead on you or her. Then, he happened to pick up the sweet scent of those Berries/Honey, perked up a bit more , his tail slowly wagging behind him. Sister fiercest stood close by, watchful and ready to intervene if things began to get to overwhelming to their brother, or if you tried making any aggressive moves...

"...alright, here ya go then.  One Ranc Berry.  Last one I have at the moment, but I can spare it for you.  We can get you and your sister some more food later, where it's safer, warmer...sound nice?"

Reiner stretches out a hand towards the male Eevee, the Ranc Berry in his open palm.  If he doesn't feel comfortable with taking it from this stranger with food directly, though, Reiner will carefully place it on the ground in front of the Eevee and withdraw his hand.

Little Bro almost shies away yet again when you speak to them, but this....this time they stand their ground and look at the offered Ranc Berry with great big Baby Doll Eyes, then turns that gaze on you as if to say 'For me?' Big Sis posture become more alert at this gesture, giving you an dubious look, but deciding to allow it and see how it develops. At first, nothing happened. Then, at an almost glacial pace, the runty kit inched closer towards your hand, and several times it looked like they would back peddle away, but eventually reached the berry, and carefully reach over to plunk it out your hands. Once their tongue hit it, they quickly mashed it up and gobbled it down, and a blissful/content expression overtook its nervous one as they savor the berry.

.....He then came closer, and gently bumped their head against your now empty hand.

The Sister relaxed significantly after this moment, and approached you as well, not looking for affection of any kind, but their was a clear look of approval in her eyes.

You've proven yourself worthy of their trust indeed. Now its time for them to see if this will continue to be true....

Big Sis Eevee and Little Bro Eevee can now be captured/obtained without resistance! Details about them will be posted in the Meta Thread!

Reiner gives the little bro a good, gentle scratch behind the ears.

...this is the kind of pokemon Giovanni wouldn't care about, wouldn't think the risk and effort would be worth it...his sister...she'd definitely be of interest to him...but not as interesting as she is to Reiner...these foxes' Hidden Powers...these aren't normal Eevee...but their potential is well hidden...

"...alright, let's get you two out of here.  For you little guy...I have a Luxury Ball with your name on it.  Nice and comfy.  Should be a welcome change from that shack over there.  And for your sister...a Great Ball.  A normal pokeball wouldn't do either of you justice."

Reiner looks at her.  "Keep fighting for what you stand for, and do it the way you want to do it.  Never give in, don't let anyone put you down, and keep those you care about close.  That's the way of a dragon.  You keep doing what you do best, and someday, you won't just be like a dragon.  You'll BE a dragon."

He looks at the little bro next.  "Maybe you're not as strong as everyone else right now, but that's fine.  Survival has all kinds of different flavors.  Supporting those protecting you from the shadows...sometimes it's just something you have to do.  Some of the strongest ghosts I know fight like that.  And I'm sure you'll be as strong as them one day with the right support.  One day, you won't have to hide if you don't want to."

"That's my honest opinion of you both.  It's also just some musing and speculation, but I do honestly believe there's more to you two than meets the eye.  And if you do as well, maybe, just maybe, you'll make names for yourselves..."

"...well, I think that's enough monologuing for now.  Let's gather whatever you two want to bring with ya and leave this alley behind, shall we?"

And out come the feline thieves!  (Reiner makes sure to comfort the little bro if he needs some assurance these cats are friendly)

"Weavile, Felicia, mind helping our two new friends with the cleanup?  If there's anything of use around here, we should grab it before we go."

Little Bro Eevee greatly appreciated the additional thought you put into even their choice of Pokeball and additional kind words, and he shows this by giving you the most adorable, Charming look imaginable and letting out a joyful "E-Eevee!" Daaaaaw! He so gosh darn CUTE, you swear he had the Ability Cute Charm if you didn't see its Ability before hand! Big Sis Eevee puffs out their chest and close their eyes in pure sastification as you lauded its draconic attitude , as she is fully aware of her unique abilities and is entirely unabashedly PROUD of them! Yeap, she definitely has the spirit of the Dragon, if not the potential to become one!

Once you summoned your feline companions, the runty fox was all too eager to dive right into your open arms in fright/startlement , while sister fiercest quickly took position between them and you/her brother, poofing up their fur to seem MUCH bigger than before! Felicia herself was a tad bit surprised at you being with not just one, but TWO Eevees, but soon regarded the both of them with the typical Elitist attitude the breed was known for once it was apparent they were going to be a threat unless she/her partner was one as well.. Weavile , on the other hand, was still grouchy from the verbal beatdown and molestation sesson, and the aggressiveness Big Sis was showing him was entirely unappreciated and unamusing, though he wasn't going to get into a scuffle unless she started it. At the very least he was in a better mood after a drug filled night and some shut eye! Weavile regains 1 Happiness, and now has 3!

Finding Stuff! This will be a Survival Roll + 1, due to the Eevee Siblings helping you out!
(3)(6)(4)(5) They all managed to scrounge up 1 Lum Berry, 1 Aspear Berry, 1 Rawst Berry , 1 Pecha Berry. Looks like these medical supplies just in case one of them got sick....

Assuming you all leave immediately after you are down with exploring the area, you make you way back towards the main Festival Area, and found that things have.....changed. Whether it be your empathy, natural instincts, or otherwise, but the everything had a far more serious and dower aura to it, an ever present sense of danger pervaded and clinging to everything and making it all seem so.....dire. All was not well for the Flower Festival......not any longer.

Other Notable Changes:

-Lindworm and Samael are no longer in the area, and a new Police Officer by the Name of Azazael has token their (Sameal's) place. Prize for thievery is $2500 and 2 Pokémon, Talking with them will get you Info.

-Via text message (you don't want to know how she obtained your number) , Angelica has informed you that Erika is currently enjoying some tea at the shop, and doesn't seem like she's going anywhere for awhile.

-New Pokémon Encounter on the block: Grimer! But this one seems.....different somehow. Hmm....

Everything else is the same regarding Encounters.

Welp, this was sick, as Mina herself somewhat felt bad now - neither did she wanted to react like this in the first place nor unnecessarily worry her sweetest Bugfairy. But... she knew Master well, thank heaven. ...Heaven! Nope, we won't let that nigtmare/dream being reviewn by her inner eye now, better concentrate on the paper now, all while giving both Navi and Momochi occassional strokes through their fur. The first resting on her head meant more Shield Dust covering her hair, but for now Mina does not care. Maybe she was even appreciating it.

It seems like if given enough time, rest, distraction and a chance to try out her new inherited powers in a battle, Mina will eventually cope. Someday. Eventually. Maybe in a month or so.

After spending a few hours doddling whatever came to your mind in the hopefully not vain pursuit of working through some of your grief over Cirno's.....sacrifice, you and your Pokémon had attained a certain measure of peace. Navi fell asleep on your head shortly after devouring their sweet treat, as the subsequent sugar rush then crash tuckered the pixie right out, since it had no target to release all those pent up energies on. Momochi was resting by your side, providing additional comfort while every so often nudging you to see how you were doing on your sketches, or for more attention. It was....relaxing, really. All gain 5 XP !

When you completed yet another picture and showed it off to your fairy dragon, both of you heard footsteps approaching , causing you to look up and find a little girl wearing sunglasses and black gloves standing a respectable distance away, carrying what looked to be a letter and a bottle of water. "H-Hello, Miss Mina. I'm sure mister has told you about me, but my name is Emily! I just....wanted to check up to see how you are doing, and see if you needed anything. Did Mr. Mime return all your stuff and Pokémon to you like he said?"

Pain. And the damn smell of coffee. This was everything what Arial feeling now. "My fucking Aotios. If I knew I everytime would knock down in this bodyguard job, I would prefer ask a raise in my payment." Then Arial could feel he still in the bed with Gligar in pinching in his nose again. "Damn, this is embarassed. Been knock down by a little girl its a big shame. Welp that girl problably a super human being like Riza or she somehow was revive like Kyubi, huh. Well Reiner really have a fetish with this kind of thing I guess. Guess its something about choosen one or something." Then Arial stand up. "Now, how I will get out of here?"

Then Arial remember something: He still in the same bed in his room. "This give me a crazy a idea. No one holds Arial Copycat for a long time. I escape the hands of a Vampire. Escape in my own room its piece of cake." Them Arial go to the balcony where he found Gligar and look to them view. "Well, this is really gonna be a fly." Them Arial bring Gaspar Pokeball and bring his out. "Suckers. Next time you should learn to take out my pokeballs. Anyway Gaspar, I want you to become some large bird pokemon. A Braviary or something enough to take us to the ground level." Them Arial look to Gligar. "Ready for a awesome escape little buddy?"

"Well, I think some nicknames are in order as well, don't you?  Going to get confusing if I have to call you both Eevee all the time, isn't it?  How about...Ridia and Poe?  I think that has a nice ring to it.  A powerful name for our resident dragon-fox, and a simple, sorta spooky one for our ghost-fox."

Reiner texts Angelica back.  He could worry about how she got his number later.

Angelica, I'm en route to the tea shop now.  Keep an eye on the area as you normally would.  Be ready to get Erika if things start going sour.

Reiner wasn't going to hide from Clair.  Nope.  He just hoped she'd talk first, shoot later...the sooner they got this over with, the better.  Still, better not drop his guard...

One quiet order for the female Eevee: "Ridia, stay alert please.  There's a lady with light blue hair, blue eyes, and a cape somewhere around here...and I need to know immediately if you see her or sense any danger, got it?"

And one wakeup call for Mew: 'Mew, wake up if you haven't already. Clair's here, and she's ruined the festival's atmosphere.  Be ready and watchful.'
