"To be honest, I was expecting my family lag behind in this fight myself when they would be facing a couple of Vigoroth, so I'm pleasantly surprised with that outcome. As for the Slakoth lines' relatively barren Ranged amount of moves it naturally learns, I believe that it learns a variety of TM moves that can rememdy that problem, albeit not without great cost on your part. Fling is a less than optimal move unless you know which Items to use in order to maximize their effectiveness to my knowledge, but I have heard its useful of ridding Items with limiting or detrimental effects when need be!"

Hanael's particularly devastating Magnitude nearly cause him to tip over and faceplant into the pavement below him, but he managed to barely keep on his feet until it had safely passed. He also was swift to notice/realize that such a tremor would hardly be ignored in a metropolitan area, much less one hit by disaster, and readily agreed with the fair lady, striding over to her to accept his prize money and give her a delicate yet not weak handshake. "My sentiments match yours, so let us make haste to our own respective safe house ASAP, my wonderful friend! Pray for that you will find not only future successes in your Pokémon Training, but also any endevour you choose to apply yourself to the fullest in! May Reshirim be with you!"


Ventus then recalls his own Pokémon and beat his own hasty retreat towards the Center, intent on heading towards his room and laying low/resting until dinner time and/or his companions complete all their tasks for the day. Along the way he counted his Poke to make sure it was all their as agreed appart, and took almost a double take and nearly tripping themselves again when they spotted what they HIGHLY suspected was their phone number. The researcher stared at it for a minute or two, before he memorized it for later use (if necessary/desired) and stuff the bills in his wallet. 'My main target of my affections is my dearest, most blessed friend Shiva, but if a lady choose to associate themselves in such a manner  to me, who am I to object to those desires, so long as they don't go to far in the....' he though, before shaking his head to clear such dreadful thoughts. No, bad think!

[Since t Hanael's POWERFUL Magnitude spooked Ventus and SEVERAL people, he's hiding out in his/Shiva's room to 'lay low' , before interacting with them once more with they all have finished their third Encounter of the day!

Nathan nods to Orthros, who trots onto the battlefield.

Nathan still doesn't really say anything, but Orthros not being in his ball when he's sent onto the battlefield means there's no backdrop of pitch black nightmare darkness to cover his entrance this time.

After seeing how...poorly Beldum fared, Forthright's pretty unsure about whether these 'battle' things are actually fun like Nathan was saying they were...Nathan tries to pick himself up for her sake since Beldum was...not in a favorable matchup at all, but it seems a little half-hearted for now.

A curtain of a nightmarishly shade of black covering the scenery would incredibly startle and scare Shiva with a chance that she gets a flashback of all these nauseas feelings she remembers from being trapped in that 'world', so it's rather relieving that this does not happen right now. Litwick would probably enjoy it, though, and feel somewhat reminded on the Ghost World. She also does not show much of a reaction to Orthros, but she keeps her still present fear and dislike for that dog hidden within herself. True, formerly she saw Master and Deltadog playing joyfully and...normally, and it was a nice view actually, but it does not help the fact that Shiva plain and simply DISTRUSTS Orthros.

Enough of that though, and her train of thought is neatly distracted by that strong feeling of insecurity she picks up arising in Castform. What may have caused them? Ah, probably... She waves at Castform in a friendly manner and even a faint smile. "Hey, lil' one, no need to be so dishearted right away!~ Battles CAN be dangerous for a Pokemon, no joking, but they can ALSO be enjoyable and fun, especially if you're perpared for it and WANT to have a good time. If your Master's attitude is pulling you down, try to observe what I am doing for a while, and you might understand what I mean! Alright? For example, did you notice how my ghostly candle held his Ember back? This was on purpose, I ordered him to do so, as fainting is likely to cause drama and a bad taste in general, it's not very enjoyable for the Pokemon either."

[Dragonstrike]

Forthright's eyes go wiiiiiide when that really friendly dog attacks in response to what the strange candle did.

Accidentally superpowered or not, those were some viciously powerful attacks, and they look like they REALLY hurt...

"...great job, Orthros.  You doing okay, buddy?"

Orthros gives an enthusiastic bark to Nathan in response.  Finally, he gets to do something AWESOME, flex his psychic powers a little!  That felt GOOD!  He was enjoying this!  And these spinning flames are waaaarrrrmmmm.  They feel soooo nice...

"...see, Forthright?  He's fine.  Yes, maybe a bit more hurt than I expected him to be, but he's doing okay.  And having fun by the look of things..."

Forthright's still a bit uncertain...she's still a little bit scared of this...

Nathan raises an eyebrow.  Well now...time to see which dog has the bigger bite, apparently...judging by earlier...hmmm...he's not quite sure exactly what's going on with this Poocheyena since this is his first time seeing it in person...
