Apsis gave the boy a deadpan stare at his first question, as her focusing on him to the exclusion of all else should have made it dead obvious to him before this point, before she rolled her eyes and nodded her head. The giant snake then craned her head down to carefully pick up the plate of food Nathan set down for her, placed it right back down on his lap, and gave him a firm stare + *Hiisss.....*. While whatever that was smelled good, she was still pretty full from eating those Ninjack that she could do without this morsol, and she had to make sure that the young one got his fill. He couldn't grow up to be a strong male human if he didn't finish his dinner after all, *Hiisss!*

She then coiled up right beside him, and just let herself relax in his presence. If he wanted to speak with her about anything, it would be pretty easy to start up a conversation.

...yup, this is VERY weird...but also weirdly comforting.  Nathan sits there, eats his food, scratches one of Aspis's sweet spots for awhile.

...which actually causes Orthros to react in an...interesting way.

Well, if Nathan's fine with this snake being around...she can't be ALL bad, right?

Orthros nudges her to get her attention, nudges a little food her way, and then sits down next to Nathan again.  Nathan's not sure how to react to that at first...

(Well, I guess if Aspis wants a friend, maybe she'll find an unexpected one here?  That would be an interesting turn of events, no?)

Oh right, that Nidorino of Heart was not helping Shiva feeling any better. What if...he'll become a Nidoking at some point? None's safe. She's not safe. She only had Cottonee at her person at the moment as she left all the rest of her party there at dorm enjoying dinner and dorm (assume that they left Apsis alone) which made her feel double-vulnerable in some way, but since she absolutely didn't wanted to make a scene - dinner table was still not the right place for that - she tried to keep all her fear and worry and nervosity tightly locked up within herself, the next time she will think twice about accepting Heart's offer for sharing dinner.

That praise and flattery from him somewhat eased her senses and nervosity to some small degree. The taste was sugary. "Th....Thanks, Heart." Nope, she won't allow her voice to shiver, there was barely a chance to escape now. It'd be rude, on top of that. "Thinking of...sugar, have you prepared dessert as well? If not, I'll be...leaving soon, as I'll be starting...work at the Shelter tomorrow and have to get up...early...Hehe." Damn you, nervosity. Damn you, desire to flee and hide.

Heart notices Shiva was a little nervous. "You okay Shiva? Is something wrong?" Heart say with honest worry to her. "Well yeah, I kinda make some cookies as a desert I guess...have flavor chocolate, vanilla and strawberry..." Heart take the cookies them offer to everyone. He didnt expect to this dinner be like that...

Apsis isn't very interested in Orthros since she's still far more loyal to her master. She eats Orthros' food to show she's the boss and not a friend. That's all.

Nathan sighs.  Well, at least she wasn't being...particularly mean about it.

Orthros doesn't do anything else.  Just sits by Nathan quietly.  If Aspis didn't want to be friends, fine.  He'd be friendly enough if approached, though.

...and then Nathan remembers something, now that he's actually starting to relax a little.

"...oh yeah, almost forgot to tell ya about that thing I mentioned almost a week ago...about getting stronger and such...it's called Mega Evolution.  Wonderful thing, that...it's the ultimate symbol of a trainer's bond with their pokemon...well, it usually is...Almanac has damn artificial mega stones that lack that particular requirement...anyways, it allows pokemon to change their form, their ability, their type, gives them a significant power boost...temporarily, but it's quite significant whenever it's active...I've heard they'd discovered Mega Evolutions for Arbok and Whimsicott in the Tandor region, and that they're used by two of the strongest gym leaders in their League...I've got no idea what they can do or what they look like, but...well, maybe you and Ventus will show me eventually...of course, you'd have to get both a Key Stone and a Mega Stone for the Arbok species first...Key Stone distribution is usually heavily regulated by the League, and the key stone...well, usually you'll only see the ones for the most common pokemon around Trillium pop up in this region.  Pidgeot, Beedrill, maybe a Slowbro once in awhile..."

"...I hope to find a Galladite one day.  Get a Key Stone somehow.  It's always something extra special that Kirlia and I have wanted to do...maybe I'll get to do it with Calam and Orthros one day as well...though I'm probably going to have to go through hell and back if I want to get a Delta Houndoominite like the one we saw...Galladite and Absolite already have never been seen in Creshire to my knowledge...but how wonderful it would be to have access to the proof of a bond that even Gym Leaders and Elite Four members only rarely have around here..."

Shiva somewhat absent-minde adjusted her glasses while almost squeezing Cottonee in her arms, it's too late already. She has gotten all worked up about the happenings here at Heart's room by now that it's highly doubtful that she'll calm down over desert without investing a sheer mass of effort and not-yet-present selfconfidence, seeing that she failed to hide it and bottle it up for Heart's sake only to for the issues later come back and bite her twice as hard, it was better if she...

Niw she actually looks up to Heart. "...Save a few of these cookies for me then, please. Preferably vanilla, nothing extraordinary, nothing bad about it, everything's fine. I'm fine. I'm okay now! Trust meh..." The smile she gave him had not-healthy traits, looking fake and maniac. "Do forgive meh then... You deserve praise for that food, I never heard of such a pizza-pasta-hybrid but it was suprisingly good. We'll see each other tomorrow then. Maybe, as I'll leave Center early alongside...Ventus." *barely noticable twitching* "Sleep well then, Heart. Jamison. Nathan. Apsis. Nidorino. Anyone."

Aways she was then, it was incredibly rare that she's leaving like that. But she needed some space herself now, that'all she wanted right now. After she has closed door to Heart's dorm, the first thing she does was leaning against the wall to catch up on breath and cool down from that interesting dinner. Interesting in so many ways.

It took Shiva several minutes to teach a state of mind where she was somewhat better, more in tune with herself and not threathened to freak out. Once that condition hs been met, she got back to where she came from, the dorm she shared with Ventus, only to realize that the door was indeed open, Apsis must know some tricks. Shiva closef the door behind herself once she entered the room, greeted her own Pokemon and cleaned up the temains of food she left for them, then head to bathroom to brush teeth and change into nightdress only to immediately crawl/flee into the safety of the fluffy bed. Ven was still thete, snorring a far as she could tell. She...couldn't help but to cuddle up closely to him like one would do if waking up from a bad dream. She didn't want to punch him now, but it'll come at some point. Cottonee placed herself onto the pillow to cuddle too.

Sorry, but this is the end of Shiva's current in-game Day. I haven't seen it coming that way, but it was better to have her suprisingly leave now. Oh the irony.

Well. To much for trying make a good night dinner for everyone I guess. What have cause to Shiva feel like that? He feel a little hurt after that sudden escape of Shiva but he let her pass. She must be have a reason to do that. When everyone finish their dinner (the atmosphere get a little more weight) Heart say. "Well, that night wasn't what I expect to be, but it was good to have some company after some time." Then Heart make leftlovers from the remaine food and offer to Jamison. "Thank you for be here and accept the invite. I hope we can meet again tomorrow." Then Heart go in direction of Nathan. He still someway mad with him, but he deicdes to avoid conflict since Shiva is not here anymore he needs to work with relation with Nathan he stends his hands and offer the leflovers. "Here. I notice you didn't eat much, so you might want to eat something later. Need works in your wealth." Then he give to Nathan hands.

Mechanics: And with that I think we should ends this excuse of a victory dinner and begin the next day. Heart will problably asks tomorrow about what happen. And will problably join in the little Cup.

Jamison glares at Nathan for getting some of the leftovers too, but he claps Heart on the back and leaves with a smile on his face. Every once in a while he sniffs his takeout bag.

He takes tge leftovers, but if he could back up into the corner any more, he would. Particularly after Jamison glares at him too...

...needless to say, he leaves the room pretty dang quickly once everyone's out of the way.

...he's surprised when Aspis follows him not just to the PC (where he swaps Beldum for Kirlia), but also to his room...

...well, she was being friendly enough so...yeah, Nathan doesn't mind if she sleeps over. He's very relieved to have the room all to himself and his pokemon, too...

...Kirlia, however, is shocked! What in Mesprit's name happened while he was napping?! Nathan's emotional state is a mess, Aspis is being friendly...*sniff sniff*...and is that a home cooked meal?!

...well, everything seems okay for now...Kirlia was going to be monitoring this veeeerrrry carefully, though...

Apsis just gives Kirlia a dismissive *Hisssumpt!* at their skeptisim and watchfulness , before coiling up on in a relatively secluded spot in Nathan's room, readying to doze off for the night. She has no obligation nor desire to prove/explain her intentions to the annoying dancer, so instead just choose to willfully ignore them, so long as they keep their nose out of her affairs and mind their own damn business, *Hiss....*
