Nathan catches a glimpse of an interesting battle. One of the trainers is a younger lad with a Taillow, facing a man in shockingly silver hair. This man has a beautiful golden belt around his waist, adorned with many decorations. Also rings on his fingers. His orders are issued crisply, quickly, and clearly, much more professional than his opponent, who is quickly defeated by the man's Pokemon. Nathan keeps getting more glimpses until the Pokemon's identity is revealed: a rare Dratini!

Other popular choices of Pokemon include Mime Jr, Pichu, Elekid, Machop, Magnemite, Oddish, and Squirtle.

Nathan's still quietly watching the battles.  Shiva's was the one he was most interested in.  Heart's, he couldn't really bring himself to really react to, and Kirlia just sat quietly with him during that one instead of waving ribbons around.

The man with the silver hair...a Dratini...hmmmm...that's going to be a tough one for anyone to beat.  That man...he was prepared for this.  He was looking to win this tournament.

He probably would.

Nathan's waiting for Shiva after the matches for the day, still looking around somewhat timidly.  Forthright's still looking sleepy.  Grid's contentedly sitting on his shoulder, all recharged.  Kirlia gives Shiva a happy wave when he sees her!

Barely any time to watch that Lilipup playing dead - or rather, somewhat wondering what the crowd's enjoying about that so greatly as it'd rather worry Shiva - as Cottonee, after having landed her hit, immediately gave a proud gesture and expression that clearly told 'That'll teach ya to tackle me like this, lil' dog!!' before she turned around to suprise her Master with a tacklehug directly into her arms held open, emitting a cloud of pinkish fairy dust on the impact. Her Starter's fluff was still so enjoyable to nuzzle, no words needed that to Shiva's taste, her Pokemon gave a well Final Act nicely following the shooting script.

After having enjoyed the taste of victory for this matchup for a little, Shiva placed her fluffball up onto her head before walking up to claim her prize - oh, she already knows what to buy for that little bit of cash - and giving the audience, most likely those who hoped to see her fluffball again, a thankful look with a coy smile. While doing so, she subtly looked out for that guy in the purple suit from the Shelter - where was he...?



Next matchups seem to take place tomorrow, so for now Shiva will head back to the GPC, keeping Cottonee out on her high position along the way. The fluffball wasn't heavy at all (0.6kg), so Shiva had no issues walking normally. At best, her white and green color was a nice contrast to all that black and caused Shiva to walk with head held up high and a faint smile. It was only matchup#1 of the tourney, but she was already enjoying it. Let's see in what direction things will develope.

Naturally that she picked up Kirlia waving at her, so both Trainers ended up walking back to the GPC alongside their closest Pokemon. Kirlia for her part receives a pat and stroke of his forehead from Shiva for waving ribbons of her Pokemon's colors, if he allows, still not touching the red horns. No words said to him, as he probably knows what that was for.

In generally, Shiva was in a good mood, yet looking forward to return to dorm. She had some words for Nathan though, which he'd get somewhere half the way spoken in no scolding, but clearly wondering and curious tone. "Soooo... Nah, naturally Shiva picks up that he's a lot more quiet than yesterday, but after yesterday's dinner *still subtle shivers when thinking back to it* and how she has beaten him in battle it doesn't wonder her that much actually. He has his Pokemon by his side for aiding and Shiva has already told him what could be done concerning lasting feelings of fatigue and similar.

Doesn't prevent her from attempting to break the ice, neither from keeping her relatively good mood! "C...Changed your mind? Huh. Well, eh, I haven't done anything particular during that battle yesterday, I just took it as exactly what it was - practice. It paid of, really." She turns a little quiet herself then, raises her head to look up to the sky just enough to face it without Cottonee falling down - no stars were visible because the light of never-sleeping Stair City overtrumped them. Just like at home in Castelia. They're still shining and watching. That mention of that guy with a Dratini, though... That made her avert gaze from sky to observe the street again. "Nathan, I believe everyone who registered to Lil' Cup knows what they're doing... Me included. Heart included. That guy included. I've already beaten a Dratini before, as well as a big Shelgon - Shall I happen to face him during the matchups, that'd be the next challenge I have to face. Another dragon that attacks me, but we're not defenseless... Aren't we, Cottonee? (Does Cottonee respond to this in some way, @Iron?) Thanks for the information and warning though. Appreciated! Same with the suprising support, hm." She playfully hits Nathan on the shoulder with a fist, expressing that appreciation.

I'm rather busy currently with that Cup and work at the Shelter -" 'Venny's even working double-shift today, it'll probably be a while until he returns', she mentally added - "Do you...depending on what your plans for the days are and when you desire to battle Dagny in Gym... do you think you could do me a favour? Maybe? Pleeeeease?" At that last word, Shiva's clearly oozing some charm - wonder if Nathan jumps onto it?

After that dificult battle he thanks to his little tree about be able to Confuse that Treecko. If wasn't for that another battle would happen and once again and chance to loose would be high. After that battle Heart decides to go to the nurse to heal both Viktor and Koa. Heart did notices the silver hair guy with the Dratini. "Huh, battle him will be dificult. Its times like this I would like have a ice to help too. Thanks Arceus I have a Steel-type." After smile Heart and change his cloths.

Oof!  Nathan wasn't ready for a playful hit on the shoulder!  He jerks forward a little, startling Forthright and almost knocking Grid off of his other shoulder!  While his strength and stamina have improved significantly from the journey, he's still kinda frail.  In several ways.

...the charm isn't really why Nathan responds to Shiva's question.  He's shifting nervously, looking at the ground...Kirlia gives Nathan a quizzical look, then frowns rather sadly. This reminds him a lot of...when they first met, actually...except a bit more extreme...

Hmm, Nathan seems to be immune to her charm, seems like it wasn't necessary actually. On the quiet, she couldn't help but to smirk over his reaction to playful punching him. Similar like Kirlia though, she given him a faintly quizzed look after having agreed to her - maybe hearing what that favour would be will cheer him up somewhat?

The name of the shrine is sufficient, preferably the one dedicated to Cresselia - the embodiment of the crescent moon, the symbol of hope and good dreams... the Gothitelle I'm working for at the Shelter will be my black moon, on the other side stands the full moon. Ah, Lunar Wings... Beautiful feathers. I only read them about them. I'm pretty sure information of the shrine for Cresselia can be at the library belonging to the Extension of Telperion University here in Stair City - you, with your knowledge, might be able to find out the name for me better than I could. I'd appreciate it and will tell you why when your search's been fruitful."
