Ventus was a tad bit puzzled about his dearest's irreverence towards Kingdra, but he soon shrugged it off, figuring it was just an offshoot of her fae nature that made her so blasé about Dragon types. 'I just hope that relative fearlessness won't lead her to recklessness, as that last thing I want is to rescue her from a drake's ferocity I she invariably pissess one of......' Either that, or......no, he doesn't want to even CONSIDER that possibility......

It was scant moments after this comment, however, that Shiva's mood took a precipitous drop into the dismal, and that odd and curious twin tailed emotional pattern emerged once more, immediately alerted the empath that all was not well with his sweetheart. A frown tugged on his lips as shortly after this discovery she explained what put her in such a tizzy, and could not help but let out a sigh and he carefully placed a hand on her left shoulder. "If I recall correctly, he mainly wanted one for research and mail service, or at least that was the case when I trade away the Tarous I caught to him. Nothing more, nothing less. ......Shiva, I can't advise you on whether or not what is the right or correct choice to keep or relinquish Skelp, my dear, as this is a deeply personal decision on your part, and my interference could only cause problems when their are not."

The researcher rubbed his face with his other hand, before continuing. "I can only give you my opinion as a Pokémon Researcher and Sociologist.  Dragalge is one of the most toxious and foul tempered Pokémon that is known to man, and when provoked can and will indiscriminate fire off highly corrosive blasts of Poison at whatever set it off. Even if you make it completely Loyal toward yourself, their is always the chance it will not share the same camaradence with you towards others, especially if they pose any significant threat towards themselves or you. I'm also not too sure whether or not it will get along with the rest of your Pokémon, as your current team is mainly composed of Grass, Fairy, and Psychic types, all of which either loathe or fear Poison types, or would otherwise greatly intimidate one. Cottenee will certainly not appreciate the company of Skelp, or will be highly adverse in interacting with it due to their 4X weakness to Poison. I've heard and researched it takes great time and effort on a Trainer's part to evolve a Skelp into a Dragalge, so you'll also have to dedicate a large portion of your time bonding and training with them in order to achieve that goal. "

"Overall, the Skelp line would be a rather challenging for you in particular to raise to adulthood, but if you are commited to raising them, then by all means do so. Dragalge is a powerful draconic threat that can resolutely counter its biggest threats in Fairy types, and its corrosive poison can have all sorts of useful applications depending on how its used. This is only my advise as a Pokémon Researcher/Sociologist, of course. If you have opinions that differ greatly from mine, then feel free to ignore me and carve your own path ahead. After all, like I said, only you can make this choice, Shiva......"

Day 46 begins!

Yesterday's clouds have become today's rain. The inhabitants call it a "ruster" and stay indoors as much as possible. But the stands of the battlefield have covers, so the Little Cup is good to go!

Yesterday's clouds have become today's rain. The inhabitants call it a "ruster" and stay indoors as much as possible. But the stands of the battlefield have covers, so the Little Cup is good to go!

While the rise and rays of the sun was blocked by the drizzly weather this morning, that didn't stop Ventus from waking up with it, leaning up from his bed and stretching with a wide smile on his face as he savored his first day as being the brother of Ao Guang, before he leaned over and shook Shiva awake, as per promise. "Shiva my dear, its morning. I've notice that its raining today, so you best wear water proofed clothing or carrying an umbrella if you don't like being wet!" The researcher then got his pootis out of bed, conducted his morning ritual, and went down stairs to grab some breakfast for himself and his most blessed friend. On his way, though, he stopped at the PC to switch out Abaddon with his unique Drilbur, as he had plans for them today!

For a change of pace, Ventus laid out the breakfast spread he acquired out on one of the tables in the lobby for a change of pace, and went to back up to his room to escort them/inform them of this change (I'm doing this because we skipped over Nathan completely in the morn the last time, so by holding breakfast in the lobby Shiva/Ventus will be held up long enough for him to talk to them, and in my case I can always Flashback to any conversation with him!) After he had consumed his typical fair for the morning, the researcher proceed to exits the Pokémon Center, donning his fancy hat and cloack he obtained so long ago to keep the rain off his and releasing Ao Guang right beside him! "Good morning, my lord! Since today's forcast has clearly call for rain, I thought I would summon you and provide the opportunity for you to enjoy this weather with me, if you wish. Today I'm going to be looking for a something that has been on my mind since yesterday night, and that might require me having to journey a short ways outside the city to obtain what I'm looking for, so are you alright with a potentially length trip, my liege?"

Order: Release Ao Guang outside to see if he wants to travel around with Ventus and enjoy the rain, before he (Ventus) heads towards Route 4 for a something me and Iron arranged for. Rain might not be for everyone, but it certainly shouldn't bother my character and his draconic seahorse!

Erm, Kingdra is a very aquatic Pokemon. He enjoys the rain, but he can't travel in it until the gutters fill up. He can only balance himself on his tail and watch the rain fall.

Flashback time

Heart was now clearly be piss off by that. He roll his eyes and simple say. "Look Kirlia, I say that before and I will say again: IF Nathan want speak with me, he just need just to speak with me. I will not talk unless he made his move, and talk about it. Otherwise I will remain silent. And he need learn something: Even friends sometimes give up trying in help when that person dont want to be help. You can have you blind loaylty as much you want Kirlia. I dont mind and I dont care." Then Heart points a finger to Kirlia direction. "But dont expect me, Ventus or Shiva have the same blid loaylty. Now if you excuse me I have other things to do." Then Heart now more quick get out of the crowd not going to watch the Shiva battle (who ends) but clearly going to his room in the Pokemon Center and do a last Training session with Tynamo.

Action: Training Session and begin the next day!
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.

(I would have though by its ability description that he could easily travel even in a puddle of water and/or being able to walk around on land with its fins given how strong/capable a Kingdra typically are, but if that is the case he can always go back into his ball. Sorry for presuming, Iron.)

Nah he needs some kind of significant water. He can do some awesome hydroplaning though in water too shallow to support a normal Pokemon of his size.

Ven's support, emotional one by being with her and giving advice as well as physical one by that careful hand of his on her shoulder, was greatly appreciated. Sadly, it only gave Shiva more worries, especially about the thought of this young tiny Skrelp evolving into a big, highly toxic, impressive Dragalge... Taking a look at how her hatchling was joyfully spreading her tiny blue fins when Shiva/Mum made eyecontact caused her to frown - this tiny bittersweet Pokemon, a mighty dragon one day? That was...a little hard to believe for her, at least for now.

The whole time Ven was giving her advice from the point of view of a sociologist/researcher she was closely listening without any real change in her expression and pool of emotions. She took effort to remain matter-of-fact about his shared thoughts and experiences with the species and place her Breeder-feels + enjoyment over small rare Pokemon she could raise from the start a little aside for now. The latter turned our more difficult than the other.

As soon as Ventus has finished, silence roamed for a little as Shiva mulled over the spoken things for a little bit. She made up her mind about a few things:

A few moments later, Shiva placed one of her gloved hands (not stained with poison) onto Ven's one still on her shoulder, squeezing a thank-you. When she spoke up, she faced him in a more calm state now. "T...Thank you for all that advice, Ven... I'll think about what would be the best choice, one none of the ones affected have to suffer least. I don't feel capable to handle a Dragalge nor am I feeling inclinged to go for the path of evolving Nymue - that'll be your name from now on, lil' Skrelp - not now. Maybe, ever, but certainly not now... But for now, let me register you to a Ball anyway, dear one. How about a Safari Ball, I feel like the camouflage pattern neatly matches you evolution line?"

END OF STORY:
Young Skrelp registered to a Safari Ball as that must be done regardless of keeping her or not, Ventus' receiving a faint kiss on cheek for his aid towards Shiva, now it's my turn to mull over what to do. Chances are one or two PMs will be exchanged with GM.

(Alrighty, that makes sense! Guess that just means its only Ven that is going to brave the wilds for that certain thing he wants to get....)

Heart, do you have anything in mind for your training session, or is it just generic?
