Welp, wrapped up Nathan's encounters for the day. Training and bonding are great things to fill extra time with!

Since the actual conversations are much longer than what I typed, I hope it gets across the gist of what Nathan's talking about. And I hope Charmeleon is happy with hearing a little more about the trainer who beat Dagny!

I think its because Nathan have more Charm then CHARMeleon itself.

Hey Dragonstrike, I just remember something that could help out with taming Charmeleon: That Boot Camp program that Iron mentioned! It would cost a decent amount of Poke and some time, but then you would have enough Loyalty to control the fire breathing dragon without difficulty! Well, at least until it evolves, but at the very least you have a head start on getting that 3rd Point needed, and a larger buffer to work against Disobedience!

If that conversation includes stuff from Orre and/or Shadow Pokemon, Shiva indeed wants to be included, @Lord Windos and @Dragonstrike. So I appreciate being waited on until she's done with Grumpig and Shelterwork. Though after that, I wanted to hold a 4vs4 Double Battle against Lil' Freddy which I'm kinda looking forward actually @Iron once that Grumpig task has been resolved (no reply yet towards lastest post about this), but if we'd just say that this conversation takes place after that, it's fine and everyone gets what's desired. If the others are done with their day apart from this conversation, I'll be okay to be posting in that conversation and in that battle. Conversation replys may be shorter due to that however.

Only change I don't like that I can recall on the top of my head would be Huge Power and Pure Power being nerfed into the ground, but I guess doubling a Pokémon's Strength score would have been a wee too much for the game....

That'd make my Marill a powerhouse which would almost be too strong o.o She can lift heavy things that delicate Shiva never could, which is rather useful on it's own even if it's mechanically pointless in battle.

Do we have enough time to do that before heading to Cress City, though?  That boot camp takes 2 days worth of time.

Ah, so Shiva will still be around the Shelter just after encounter 3 is finished?  Alright, noted...I'll edit my post accordingly then.

Well, the ability could still buff strength in theory. Double would be a bit too much for this kind of game, though.  Even +1 or 2 Strength in the base game would be good (since Special is the Sp. Attack and Strength is Attack).  Powerful?  Yes.  OP?  Not when things like Download, Adaptability, Rivalry, Defiant, and Competitive exist already!

However, maybe another reason they 'nerfed' it was so it wasn't just another amazing attack boosting ability.  I could see variety being a reason why the change was made.

^-^ /☆  Not to hard I guess, since for example - Ventus expressed a feeling of having 'ditched' her this morning since he 'only' joined her on the way to the Department Store and not to the Shelter right away for the sake of watching Gym Battle - I know she took it rather well, but it feels nice to make up for her by waiting for her to be back at the Lobby, so that she doesn't feel left behind completely when she gets there and they're nowhere to be seen and no messages.
- In general, I guess both Nathan and Ven know that she has has issues with being left out on conversations that in some way effect her as well. And, her curiosity has been flared to life and she feels rather sad over Pokemon that have their heart closed, and expressed wonder what could cause this.
- Plus, she desires to know how the Gym Battle was, how Dagny holds her battles, from the viewpoint of the battler and the onlooker. Yes, this will become important rather quickly and get her thinking.
- Ventus also needs to return her Electric Rodents.
- Alternatively, she could simply send a text message that she's dealing with something at the Shelter after her workshift (say, the battle), and that she'll get to the Lobby right after that.

Concerning Huge Power and Co., of course Shiva will pay attention to the ability of the Eevee she'll breed. C:
