[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
For consistency's sake, @Iron, what moves does Hustle affect in this campaign? Just the damaging physical ones, or all of the damaging moves? Because it worked on Ariel's Bubble waaaayyy earlier in the campaign iirc, but not for Delibird's Icy Wind in this battle.

Good thing this happened; I rolled Delibird fainting in Round 2.

Phew.

Careful with the math, though.  Damage and accuracy pools for round 1 seem to be better than I expected for Braixen in some regards.

He has a charcoal, sunny day, and STAB. Edit: oh yeah, with 4 vit i gave him 5 dice, that's wrong. It can stay. EDIT2: With Blaze being at -2, one of those was correct.

I've been inconsistent with Hustle. It should only affect moves that are physical (sometimes I might apply it to a melee special move, because I don't really want that split to exist).

And with the Icy Wind inflicting -1 Dex, that Ember 3 would have missed since 2* Dex + 2 Fight + 3 Canalize - 5 actions - 1 Pain = 1 D6.  But eh.  Probably better for Delibird to have not fainted anyways.

Hmmm...so it usually only works on physical moves, but maybe for special moves as well in certain circumstances?  Okay, that's interesting...though I guess if Ariel ever evolves, Sharp Coral would give all her moves a boost anyways...

Last post with the current battle orders is edited now and can be rolled out, @Iron.

Braixen is awesome both to play with as he rather well matches Shiva's interests and character as well as battle with as he gives her a feeling that she's strong. He can only grow further as things progress, and filling a niche by giving me with Shadow Ball a Ghost Type attack of a power of 3 for 0xp(!) upon evolution. ^^

It should never have worked on Bubble, to be clear.

Wring Out is a good example: a special move that is obviously pretty physical. At least that's how it is in the handhelds.

Oh, so reflavoring it to work on both all physical moves and contact making special moves?  Alright...which would mean the Special moves affected in that case would be...Draining Kiss, Wring Out, Grass Knot, Infestation, Petal Dance, and Trump Card.

Spirit, one VERY important thing to note about Phantom Force is it is a Charge Move.  That means you have to take one action to charge it, then the next to attack.  Using it two times in the same round would require 4 actions (with the appropriate accuracy penalties) unless you'd used your last action of the previous round to begin charging the attack (then you'd only need 3 actions to use the move twice in the same round).

Your current orders would require 5 actions to perform, which you don't have enough dice in the accuracy pool for Confuse Ray unless you want to try using a Luck die (you'd have to roll a (6) to succeed, or something really bad might happen).

It indeed is. Make me proud on your debut, namesake move! (ノ°∀°)ノ⌒・*:.。. .。.:*・゜゚・*☆

Well, technically, it debuted all the way back in the gym battle against Chuckles...it just wasn't used by a player at the time.
