Those Mega Launcher Water Pulses and CCs are going to leave some pretty big dents in Dagny's pokemon if you set everything up correctly.

Oh, Marill hasn't gotten a chance to try out her new moves. Doesn't matter, she'll soon have and I'll look into giving her more of the attention she deserves. Plus, this battle has indeed shown that my Tropius is a beast if combined correctly (solarpowered Razor Leaf*cough*), I feel lucky that Shiva can rely on such a cool and rare Pokemon. C:

Ledy was at 3/7hp at the start of this Round, and as calculated Damage Roll of Psyshock on her consits of 2 dice. Since we battle without fainting, if that rolled (2) would be a success, she'd be out of the battle as Psychic does neutral damage on Bug. There is no real risk of accidently fainting her unless we'd have rolled a Crit for Psyshock, which's chances weren't too high, that's what I meant by being sure - 'being sure that we cannot faint the foe when we don't want to'. An Ember could have looked way different.

Ok cool. For some reason it felt to me like you were confident Psyshock would be the winning move.
Weather is awesome, I never liked it in the handhelds but now I must reconsider.

Would have had to do 6 damage before halving to do so. 2-4 successes on a 6 D6 +1 would have removed Ledyba from the battle. 5-6 would have KOed. 1, and Ledyba would have still been standing

All those weather wars in OU, yo...Gen 6+, weather's still strong, it's just not super duper strong. Well, for Sandstorm, Rain, and Sun. Hail's never really stood out all that much, sadly (though gen 7 did give hail teams some neat new toys in Slush Rush and Aurora Veil). Maybe Pokerole giving those Ice types +2 Defense in Hail will help a little here.

Now all is left is for her to run into Nathan and have a little chat, and then Ven can go and pick them up! Of course, class starts in a hour thirty for me, so I might not be able to post in time.... DoubleBattles have somewhat became her speciality given how her team allows neat combination that make up for the compared to you others low dice pools, and I'm enjoying that. There's only more room for growth as the campaign progresses. I'll get to that now, my dearest, so fret not and don't you dare to delberately wag class just because!~

@Spiritmon: Mate, remember Metal Burst? If you Mach Punch, Dagney will just hit you for 8-10D6 Damage. Much better to lead with Close Combat and THEN start spamming Mach Punch, as the former softens them up for Mach to take them out more easily! - 1 Defense is still better than being nuked by that counter move potentially!

@Spiritmon
Rose is holding a Black Belt, right? That gives you one more damage die for your fighting moves. Also, I'm kinda surprised you're using Mach Punch first and then CC...I was thinking it would probably be better to do it the other way around. Hit hard, then try and pick 'em off while they're low instead of softening them up for the big blow. 5 D6 + 2 Damage is a LOT. And following up with Mach Punch for 2 D6 + 2 Damage mitigates Metal Burst's potential damage a ton.
