Heart was reading a book when Ventus came to visit him. He close his book and smile to Ventus. "Heya Ventus. Good morning pal. Ah dont worry, I know you guys have a rush day yesterday so I okay man." Heart feel a little embarassed for the others know he faint of fatigue in the battle against Dagny. "Yeah, hehe, I guess I force to much my limits and the limits of my pokemons. The Nurse say I would need to rest for the rest of the day, and my pokemons would not train: Phantump, Clauncher and Monferno. Speaking about that...Rose come here girl!" Then Rose the ex-monferno appear beside the side of Heart. "Rose evolve after the battle against Dagny when we beat the Delta Porygon of Dagny. She is a Infernape now. Cant wait to finally return to battle! Unfortenely, I cant go anywere." Then Ventus told Heart about bring something to restore his strengh. "Well I would like a little water please. Also I would like to ask you a favor my friend." Then Heart take his pokeball. "Well, its been a while I was going to go to Mt. Sentry to train Tynamo in his energy production, and I think I am very close. Since I unable to go anywere to train him, could you take him to train a bit? I not asking you to go to Mt. Sentry and train there, but if you by chance have a eletric pokemon with you, could you help him in his training?"

The empath returned their greeting with a cheerful smile and a "Good morning to you as well!" , and nodded his head when Heart gently brushed off his earlier apologies and elaborating on how he ended up here in the first place. "Your not the first to push themselves well past comfortable boundries Heart, nor will you be the least, so don't feel glum about this. In fact, its only by meeting our limitations head on and surpassing them that we can grow ever more bold and mighty!" When the rare collecter motioned for Rose to come over to his side and promptly revealed her transformation into an Infernape, Ventus could only clap his hands and let out a most jubulous laugh!

"Congratulations on reaching your peak form, Rose! So long as you don't let your newfound power make you overzealous, you'll sure to become a fine exemplar of your species, so keep up the hard work!"  After he said this, he gestured toward the fiery ape with a great big dazzling smile as he continues his previous point with a sly smile. "See? Rose wouldn't have evolved if her Steel  wasn't tested and stress by that Blazing hot battle with Dagney, so take pride you gave it your all in that battle, even if it had some less than stellar consequences! Oh, and my sister Apsis evolved during a pitched battle as well, so that is even more evidence for my hypothesis!"

When Heart asked for water, Ventus flicked his wrist, and somehow a bottle of water came sliding down his tweed sweator's sleeve, and handed it to them. Their next request was also swiftly dealt with as Ventus smiled and firmly nodded his head. "I would be more than happy to take your Tynamo out to teach them how to generate their own electricity! I've acquired a Natu that can Teleport me rapidly across the region, and I can do some research on place where natural magnetism is high, so finding an ideal spot to train them should be of no difficulty!"

As soon as he said this, however, the sociologist rubbed the back of his head, a bashful and apologetic look now adorning his face as he spoke his next piece.

"Well, not right now, unfortunately. I desire to have a Gym Battle with Dagney ASAP, so training Tynamo will have to wait until afterwards I'm afraid. Still, I'll get right on it after my challenge with her, though, so rest assured I'll see to their needs in due time!"

Once he said this and the conversation was concluded, Ventus bid Heart a happy farwell for now, before he went to the PC to swap out Haziel for Abaddon, giving him the party layout of Raphael, Apsis, Michael, Lucifer, Hanael, and Abbadon, and switch around Items so that Lucifer now held onto the Necklace of Serenity ("Only temporarily!", as he palicated his great big sister), Raphael gets the Widen Lens. He then made his way towards The Gym, ready and eager to test his fortitude against the Steel Wonder, and see who's more durable than the other!

Order: Accept Heart's request, then re-arrange my party for Ven's upcoming Gym Battle! Let's see if The Natural Sage can put a dent into the Steel Wonder's Vitality!

Heart its not very much acostumed with this kind of threament. To others congrat him for getting stronger and all. He brush a little with this and laugh a bit. "Thanks my friend! I will get stronger and stronger thats for sure! And then when I get ready, I will challenge Nathan for a rematch." Heart punch a first to each other. "When I become stronger I will challenge again thats for sure."

"Yeah, I believe too that revolution trigger more easily in moments when you are in the peak of your limits. Both human and pokemon. Not only Rose got stronger, but I too. When I get better perhaps I should test her Flare Blitz he learn when evolved. But not now, just later."

Heart eyes became widen when he see Ventus make the water appear in his hand. "Wow. I didnt know you was a ilusionist my friend. That was a nice trick my friend!" Heart did his best to not call Ventus a "magician" since he notice Ventus dont like anything related to "magic". Heart simple smiled then tell Ventus. "Dont worry my friend, I know you have to prepare for the great battle against Dagny. Take your time with no problem my friend! Good luck in your battle my friend. Just a little advice from someone who battle against her my friend." Then Heart stand up a little in his bed. "You be careful against three pokemons I have see her use: Lairon, Brozong and Delta Porygon. From I what I could remember, the Lairon of her use a powerfull move called Metal Bust who reflect the damage he receive against him, along with Automotize and Iron Head so be careful against him! Brozong use Extrasenssory, so be careful to not let your pokemons to get Flinch, along with Future Sigh! Thats a nasty combination..."

"Delta Porygon was too a dificult battle...He have the moves Gear Grind and Tank attack from what I could notice. Be careful against those moves, because Tank Attack from Porygon can Paralyze or even Burn your pokemon. And from I could notices, the Delta Porygon have Technian ability, so be careful even against his weaknest moves friend. Welp, thats all the advice I can give you. Be wise with the information my friend!"

Ventus return's Dagney's greeting with both a warm smile and a uncharacteristically wry chuckle.

"Salutations my friend, if I may call you as such. Yes, it seems that everyone I know is experiencing 'Interesting Times' , as the old oriental curse goes. No matter the adversity, though, we still endure it all, and come out stronger for it than not, yes? Regardless, I'm looking forward to witnessing your prowess on the battlefield first hand, and to see the if the bonds between you and your Pokémon is as ironclad as their Steel typing!"

The researcher tilts their head as he process that new kernel of information, before nodding his head. "Well said, and a belief I most heartily share with you! I thank you for informing me of this, and funnily enough Lucifer here actually found this artifact on the way towards Stair City before those blighting Vines became an issue, so I guess he's finally has the chance to tap into its power!"

He then listened to the rules of engagement, and politely voiced a couple of questions he had about them.

"Does Ability and move based HP regeneration allow, even if Medical Item base HP healing isn't? I ask this because my Breloom and Togekiss has Poison Heal/Leech Seed and Morning Sun respectively , and I want this clarified on the off chance I send them out to face you. Also, why the rule on no trainers allowed on the battlefield? I thought it would be patently obvious that any human intervening on a Pokémon Battle usually will only be far worse off than not doing so, so I'm curious why it's an explicit ruling....."

Kirlia goes back over to the journal and opens it again to that page with the unfinished illustration of N.

...he really wishes he could read what was on that other page and figure out what was going on (it's not entirely the same stuff Nathan had looked up on his 'dex, just so you know)...Kirlia doesn't know who that person is, but...a lot of Nathan's worry last night was somehow related to him for some reason...and it got particularly bad when he had finished his note taking and started drawing that picture...

...he doesn't understand why Nathan wouldn't tell him anything last night...

Spritzee rather disappointed came back to her mother/master's shoulder upon the realization that her slapping him with her tiny pink wing was not enough to wake the stubbornhead of a boy from his slumber, earning her an appreciating stroke under the chin from Shiva before she allowed her to nuzzle her and hide between some strands of her hair. Maybe it wasn't that much of a good idea to bring a small Fairy Type that just learned to copy an lavender incense's smell to a sleeping person you actually wanted to wake up...

Pondering what to actually do now, Kirlia soft-answered to her sentiments already by REOPENING THAT JOURNAL to the page swee and innocent N was depicted - Although Shiva didn't wanted to really see it as it had a high chance to only make her sad/wishful and reminded her on getting the news that N has disappeared some years ago, she could not help to muster it for a little after she gave the psychic dancer a 'What the hell are you doing there?'-glance. His message was somewhat clear however: Read that damned page. Doesn't matter whether it's Nathan's personal journal/thing and it's disrespectful to do so, go on and ease that worry. Pllllleeeeeeaaaase!

It took around one minute of pondering and struggling and overthinking the situation before Shiva succumbed to Kirlia's will. Giving him a last glance after telling him (she wasn't quite sure whether it'd be necessary, but she somewhat automatically lowered her voice) "It's not my fault, you made me to. Please none of you come blaming me, okay?", before daring a look and a read of what's actually state there beside the unfinished illustration.

"Poison Heal and such are fine. Even a held Berry is allowed. The rule against Potions was made to make battles against me go a little faster. It's nationally illegal to use many moves on a Trainer, so it would interfere with the spirit of 'anything goes' and create a conflict with the law. Imagine someone running out onto the field and shielding their Pokemon, forcing their opponent to decide between getting in trouble or losing the battle. This is a test of Pokemon against Pokemon, a proxy for the will of their masters."

That section of the journal actually specifically talks about N, obviously.  Not much in the way of Team Plasma specifically.

N

A young man who goes by the simple name of N, though his full name is Natural Harmonia Gropius.  Not because of any official records, but merely because he shares Ghetsis Harmonia Gropius's due to a lack of any other potential surnames.  Unlike his foster father, N is a kind soul who cares deeply for pokemon, regardless of whether they're his.

He was found in the wilds and taken in by Ghetsis at a young age, along with his foster sisters Concordia and Anthea, and raised among pokemon, isolated from human society.  When he turned 18 years old, Ghetsis crowned him as the king of Team Plasma, and the group began their campaign to liberate pokemon from humans in earnest.

N speaks quickly and quietly, is reported to be able to understand what pokemon are saying, and is also Unova's present day Hero of Truth, the chosen trainer of Reshiram, the Vast White Pokemon and the Dragon of Truthful Flame.

During Team Plasma's campaign for liberating pokemon, he was seen throughout the entire region, likely searching for the Light Stone that was the sealed form of the white dragon he sought.  Something which he likely found when the residents of Icirrus City heard the white dragon's roar from atop Dragonspiral Tower.  N later appeared at the Pokemon League, where he defeated Alder, became Champion, and revealed the castle that had been under the government's nose the entire time.  Following his and Ghetsis' defeat at Hilbert and Zekroms' hands, he left the Unova region with Reshiram, reportedly to go on some kind of soul searching journey.

There aren't any solid accounts that I can find of N returning to the Unova region, but there have been several apparent sightings of him since Hilbert left Unova with Zekrom to try and find N.

Some say they saw the white dragon flying towards Giant Chasm the day the Plasma Frigate docked there, and the temperature was raised by several degrees for a short time soon afterwards.  Others say they later caught a glimpse of him at Dragonspiral Tower (though they also claim to have heard Reshiram's cry once more that same day...) after Rosa became Champion, and some League officials note that Rosa seems to have taken to visiting Victory Road at least once every season.  Some even claim to have seen him at Nimbasa City's Ferris Wheel with the Champion.

Maybe Rosa knows more about N's current location than most think?  There's too many convenient coincidences here...

There's also what looks to be some personal notes of Nathan's below that.

In my honest opinion, I don't think Reshiram chose N because of his original goal to seperate people and pokemon.  If that was the case, then the dragon wouldn't have stayed with him after he stopped seeking to do that.  

Quite honestly, I'm also a little envious of N if he really can understand what pokemon are saying.  Though with how well he gets along with pokemon due to growing up around wild ones, the development of such a talent might not be that far fetched...

...with how much he cares for pokemon, he'd probably also fit right in if he ever visits Creshire.  Maybe he will one day, if he and Hilbert are still seeking each other out...

...maybe that's also why I'm having so much trouble with...I know he doesn't care much for N and his opinions...and thinking about it, there are some similarities between me and him...

"Affirmiative, my friend! Of course, given my usual battle strategy our fight might still drag on a bit, if either of us don't end up overwhelming each other that is! (...) Ah, so the rule in place to provide liability protection against the more zealously defensive  or deviously minded trainer. Hmm, yes, that WOULD be quite a predicament to find one's self in, and it rather defeats the purpose of Pokémon battling in the first place if one should take such meddlesome actions...... Thank you for clarifying these rulings, my friend."

After saying his this, he gave them the highly esteemed Gym Leader a eager yet serene smile, and motioned towards the way to the stadium.

"I have no further questions for you, so shall we make our way the ordained battle ground, and commence our long anticipated match? I hope not to disappoint you, and give you the great battle you deserve!"

Order: End questioning, and get started on the Gym Ledaer Challenge! Michael will be my first choice, unless Dagney gets to send out her Pokémon first, in which case I'll have to delay making a choice until them. Also about to head to  class, so I'll be AFK for awhile. Forgive me!

Reading this whole thing was... at first nothing new at all to Shiva as she has followed the events surrounding Team Plasma and N with intent, interest and wonder until the latter's disappearance - this includes the betrayal and misuse of pure N from Ghetsis' side simply to have things his way and to rule over the region. Bad, troublesome times for the region and certainly something Shiva had to cope with at first before it developed into a hate for him as the years passed - he deserves the defeat and the loss of everything with ever fiber of damn body.

Second, it caused both a wishful sadness, a longing that felt very different than the romantic one she must subliminally be feeling for a particular dark/dear oddball of sociologist, as well as a fury withing her, both completely silent and weirdly mixing it up as they were concerned for a different person.

- the wishful thinking was comprehensible, she among some others within the region yearn for N's return to Unova (not Chreshire), or simply a definitive life sign... Even if Shiva herself nor anyone of her family was never a member of Team Plasma, they were supportive over their belief - sometimes, it's better for a Pokemon to remain free and have nothing to do with humans or being dragged into something humans made. For example, Shiva will likely never fully get why there are people who solve an argument between themselves via having their Pokemon battle.

- the fury.........that was towards Nathan right now. She simply wishes she wouldn't be dragged into this by Kirlia, not being reminded on it, not being reminded on the pure and innocent hero N was and within the hearts of those loyal to him still is. With force, she shut that blasted journal tightly and by keeping her hand on it she prevented Kirlia from daring opening it once again. Enough of that.
N can communicate with Pokemon to a degree none ever did, and nothing compares to this. He understands the hearts of Pokemon. He's on figurative eyelevel with them. And Nathan is a little 'envious' about that... Who cares? These sensing of a Pokemon's emotions similar to Ven's skill Shiva has developed is a gist of it, she kept this in awe and will develop and hone this further to see where it'll lead to.
Also, stay on the ground and please stop with pondering any similarities between pure N and you.

When Kirlia gave her an expectand look however, not much of that was apparent to the psychic dancer, if at all that is. She kept her emotions deliberately hidden away from him, and gave him a bitterweet smile in response. "Hehe... You'd like to know what's written in there that made your Master so worried, do you? Well, as long as this journal keeps shut for now, I'll summarize it for you. But we'll use MY resources as this person your Master has attempted to sketch there comes from the region I've spent all my lifetime."

Story Time!

She retrived a different  somewhat ooold-looking hardcover journal sporting a chessboard pattern after having searched for it within her stuff for a little longer than usual, then flips through the faintly yellowed pages until she found it - turing it around for Kirlia to see, she showed him a picture of N she must have cut out from somewhere. It too looks like its best years have passed (If I'd know how to do that on Photoshop, I'd make the picture look like it, but use imaginary this time...)

There are several, several pages filled with notes, doodles, thoughts and printed out articles from newspapers and webblogs concerning him and Team Plasma in a slightly different handwriting - if compared with Shiva's handwriting today, it has certainly further developed into a small and clear one.

"This, Kirlia, is N - his thought full name is not important right now. He's considered a real hero in Unova and is sometimes even adressed with 'Hero of Truth'. He's not a Trainer like maybe we are though - no, N is different and has a unique way to see and treat Pokemon... This is because he grew up among them. All was peaceful during his early years until someone came to claim being his father - whether he really is or not is a common topic of discussion, I'll save you my opinion on this. From then, N was raised within a castle, among the godess of love, Anthea, and the godess of peace, Concordia who's task was it to take good care of N. Only Pokemon that were hurt, mistreated and betrayaled by humans has been brought to N... Over the years, he has developed an attitude of truth... He wanted a world where Pokemon and people were seperated. He wanted for Pokemon to be free, to do their own thing seperate from humans, for either side to have anything to do with each other... He disliked battling. He disliked Pokeballs, Pokedexes and similar...He was an innocent, pure and heartfelt being that felt for Pokemon like none ever could and can, but there is nothing more scary than innocence as it'd eventually show....

"He traveled the region seeing for something called the Light Stone to ally himself with the Legendary Pokemon of truth, Reshiram... That's this one." Briefly, Shiva showed that plushie of Reshiram to Kirlia, but she doesn't let him touch it. "He found it, but due to some betrayal from the one who calimed being his father N disappeared alongside this Pokemon and hasn't been spotted for yeeeeaaars now... Ah, but do not worry. Unova has been relatively calm since everything has passed..."

Why Shiva continued here after hesitating and taking a look whether Nathan's still sleeping, she didn't really know. "You know, Kirlia... I could have allied myself with him as well. The organisation behind him, Team Plasma, was always looking for new members. They visit various places preachering about how Pokemon deserve freedom and are unhappy as long as they are with humans... Including the middle school I was attending at that point. Given how I never was really interested in being a Pokemon Trainer, I enjoyed a normal education ending with my highschool degree, I've never visited a 'real' Trainer's School. However, the realization that they might and likely will eventually seperate me from Spectral, my pet-Pokemon, made me not to and so I've drifted my further life following what the organisation does and what happens with N with interest from safety... But this does not mean they forget everything around, having only eyes for that person... That's not the purpose. Please, if Nathan awakes, let him know that he shall JUST drop this worry concerning N, overthinking this issue, I have the feeling it'll lead us astray from the desired path. Phew... With that being said, Shiva retrived her arms from the shoulders of the psychic dancer, gave him a last now worried by herself glance..... Before she motioned an attempt to leave the room now. Enough, the Shelter's likely already waiting for her, and Shiva does not want to have her mood being somewhat being dragged down by this morning even more that it already has. Before she left though, she gave Kirlia another look, telling him ina  weak smile "Alright... I've said my part, depends on you now.... So if you're okay with it, I'll be leaving then, as I have business to attent. But I'll come back ina minute to bring a tea for your Master."

Indeed, whether Kirlia wants it or not Shiva is now leaving the room leaving him and everything alone for a few minutes, before she'd come back with a hot cup of Sitrus Berry Tea and a note that greeting Nathan a good morning, a 'Hoping you've slept well' and the opening that she'll challenge Dagny this evening and he can watch if he likes. There's also a doodled Ralts at the corner of the note. (That's the change for a reaction concerning everything, but Shiva likely won't stay in Nathan's room for much longer, so a response will be short in case.)
