There's also the possibility to change Delphox's or practicaly any battle partner's ability to Insomnia via Nightshade to prevent Spores from pestering us, preferably combined with the boosts Flower Gift will grant under the sun eventually. Oh, and Grass Types are immune to Sleep Status according to Corebook (at least concerning Sleep inflicted in battle, as Shiva's Grass types sleep normally during the night). Stun Spore and Stone Edge are still worrying though.

Nathan has a couple ways he'd be able to deal with Breloom's Poison Heal and status shenanigans. Facade's definitely the scariest part of Michael, though. Ghost types with a sleep immunity are the only pokemon that are really truly safe from his sheer power. *stares at Viktor*
Interestingly, the only ghost with Vital Spirit/Insomnia is the Pumpkaboo line, and it's their HA.
...except they're already immune to sleep in Pokerole thanks to their typing (and in the games as well to an extent, since they're immune to Sleep Powder and Spore among all the other powder moves in that medium). And they're the only Grass types that have that quirk, too.
Of course, Delibird is still infamous for having both sleep immunity abilities available for its use, so...

Ah, so I was right in my assumption that Kirlia Dream Ate their woes away form last night. Hmm.....that's going to be a potentially problematic for Ven to navigate, though it does save him the awkwardness and grief dealing with a dysfunctional Nathan. Oh well, he's clever enough to find a way around this!

Yeah. I dare to say Ventus is one of the strongest members of the party. Heart will have difficult to battle against him someday. But Viktor will give trouble against Breloom in battle.

Yup.
So, here's the rundown of what happened the prior night, now that Shiva's done investigating:
- Nathan goes back to his room, feeling quite worse for wear after getting rather (unintentionally) beat down in that conversation.
- He started reviewing stuff on Orre and Celebi again since it's important...but wants to try and take his mind off of that
- Ended up reviewing other information, this time concerning N...and starts comparing himself to him when he starts getting REALLY involved in the research.
- ...which starts going really badly because if he's TOO much like N, then logically, then that means he can't probably ever have any hope of getting along with Ventus...
- ...and then Kirlia had to intervene so Nathan doesn't stay awake all night and/or do something he's going to REALLY regret later. Journal was left open on the desk and the pen on the floor as a result.
- Kirlia then had to drag Nathan into the bed so he wasn't asleep in the uncomfortable chair. Forthright didn't really get what was going on, but was more than happy to finally snuggle up and happily sleep the night away with Nathan.
Unfortunately, this doesn't completely solve the issue at hand. Nathan could always come across that note he made in his journal and then suddenly remember everything. Kirlia's still wondering what Shadow Pokemon and Cipher are and doesn't really get why Nathan won't tell him. It's a very short term solution for a long term problem, so...

Mind Readers + Stun Spore + Stone Edges/Mind Reader Stone Edges = Viktor will be having a BAD time. Grass doesn't resist Rock type moves, after all, and they can't heal/damage like Michael can in battle, so the shroombro still reign triumphant!

Shiva would certainly remind him of her view that nothing compares to N, and trying to do so is pointless... Maybe I should have Shiva simply rip out the notes Nathan made concerning him in the first place, then burn them with her Pokemon. Nothing she would do normally but given she already felt a silent fury it doesn't feel too out of place... Would that solve the issue? I feel it'd only cause more conflict.

That'd definitely cause more conflict than it solves. Those notes have been in his journal for years. It's just the personal notes that were recent.
Nathan knows he can't REALLY compare to N. Nobody can except maybe Hilbert. Doesn't stop anyone from seeing some similarities personality wise, though.

K, then the journal can remain complete. ^_^
Nope, not even Hilbert can if you'd ask me or Shiva directly, and I feel we're talking a little bit past one another so I'll be ending this issue(?) now saying again that Shiva still looks up to N in awe to a point where it drifted into an idol (but not infatuation, there are no such feelings here) when she was a few years younger as the events of Gen.5 took place, and she prefers not to speak about this unless it's progressing things in a positive way beyond a small scene. It's definitely not a good idea to mention any 'similarities' towards her, I'd be happy if we can leave it at that and continue with the campaign like before. Thanks~
