Hang on there, Windos.  Cooler only had 4 HP left after Round 1 due to Leech Seed, so he's KOed after that amazing Crunch 1 (Gaspar) and Gaspar has 7 HP still instead of being KOed.

Sine I like the outcome of this round better as it raises the steaks, I'm making a retcon where Nelly uses a Super Potion at the start of the round to fully restore Cooler's HP. That way Cooler survives and Gaspar still faints after that Crunch.

Generally speaking I don't do this, but removing Gasper from the fight makes it a more challenging experience fitting of the Hard Difficulty, so I'm going to lean on the side of being Killer Game Master this once. Not going to be a regular thing, mind you, so don't feel concerned It'll become a common occurance in the future.

...well, if we're sticking with that, that puts Cooler at 4 HP again after that Leech Seed damage.  With the -1 Defense, that's probably rather manageable...

Yeap, and Arial can always re-summon Melchior for me to re-roll Initiatives for him, and if he ends up on top he can potentially end the battle with a Giga Drain that more or less gets him out of the Red Zone in terms of HP, or just use a Potion/Super Potion (Hopefully been keeping track of how many you have, Spiritmon!) to heal them up and THEN KO Cooler. Or summon Sekmet and blast it with Radio Acid/Fallout. Its not an unsalvagible situation by any means, so he can still defeat the alligator before he becomes a major nuisance!

Welp, at least I having fight against Nelly. Winning or loosing I dont mind, the most important thing is have fun in the campaigh. Thats my mantra. If I beat Cooler I will be very satisfied.

Some part of Mew is watching and so enjoying this, but its blocked out mostly by the rest of her traumatized, vegetable state of mind. Oh well!

Forgot Melchior's crit on the Giga Drain there, Windos.  Only really matters for HP restoration, but every point counts, right?

Melchior was fully restored by the Super Potion (He was at 3/8 HP, so S.P. raised it back to max), so he doesn't gain extra HP from Giga Drain. That could be a Surprise you could apply to it, though! I also though I included the crit, but let me go double check and fix that if necessary.
