If at all possible I'd like for Ventus to handle Chandelure alone with his Sea Lord, as he doesn't want to worry about him suddenly decided to do target practice on your Pokémon/Shiva instead, and I want to try a battle plan with them that could either have stellar results or.....less than stellar. That, and a Water/Dragon type is pretty much the best choice in fighting them besides a Water/Dark Pokémon, Water/Rock, or Jellicent , as even an Inferno from the thing will be less than effective against 5 Vitality and - 2 Damage, and Burn 3 can easily be put out post battle by Ao Guang hosing itself down.

Humm, then the Evolutionary Item will be it then~ But since Chandelure appears from the Candelabra and 1. Shiva+Pokemon are coming from there and 2. Ventus is going this direction, she'll notice both the Chandelure and Ven, and I'll discuss with Iron whether she's not able to witness the last Round of the combat because there's something I've thought out concerning this. Likely won't affect AoGuang, if at best only positively. And no, I wouldn't want to catch Chandelure by myself, me and Shiva would even ask Ven to please catch it as that's a Pokemon burning the spirits of people alive and without effort at a tourist attraction.

Though the next somewhat 'dangerous', 'moderate' or 'hard' Encounter I'd like to be saved for Shiva please, as I'd love for her to act heroic or overcome the obstacle of a dangerous Pokemon around, and her Pokemon are capable enough to handle things.

It even might be a Sun Stone you might find. But that's just my opinion.

If it turns out to be a SunStone, she'll probably faint.
If it turns out to be a Dawn Stone, I want a Froslass.... No, bad joke, Nathan would of course get it from her at some point.

Well, that could have gone unnoticed, but oh well. Guess Ao Guang Action count will wildly vary then, but I hope being the fierce, intelligent Dragon he is that he does more than 1 Action per Round if they end up using 2 or more Actions/Moves per round against him.

But as you said by yourself, Seedraking will receive -2 Autodamage from any Fire STABs hitting him anyway and hiw Water STABs are super effective, so it may not matter tooo much?

Well, it's also worth keeping in mind that the rule will generally apply to all (normal) wild pokemon too, so that's another thing to consider.

Though something as speedy as a Ninjask or as practiced as Felicia in the Celadon campaign is probably an exception.  The Skull Ruins Claydol are definitely an exception as well.

Yeah, but that's not the most dangerous part about it. No, that is reserved for all the ways it can chip Ao Guang down if he royally fucks up. Smog for Poison, Inferno and/or Wil-lo-wisp for Status , Fire Spin for Chip Damage, Hex + Status for a highly spammable and powerful Ghost STAB, Minimize + Curse + Confuse Ray to heap on the pain, Pain Split to burden the sea lord with its own pain.....I could go on, really.

Point is, unless Ao Guang hoses it within the first 2 or 3 rounds, its going to have a great time harrying it! Ghost typing is remarkably good as an attacking type, after all, and this 'mon is fully geared to abuse it to the fullest!

Well, if Shiva and Marill would join the battle, the mouse would help the Sealord with Helping Hand making any moves he'd maybe use more accurate and powerful, so hosing it even with using max. 2 Actions within 2 or 3 Rounds would be a bit more likely!, but that's just not gonna happen now.

Cool. Seeing these combos I somewhat look forward to when my own small Litwick becomes a spectral candelabra, if he does that is. A Litwick evolves 'when its flame grows too big', so I assume it has to be feeded enough life force or being given a sustainable source to drain from. Correct, @Iron?
