Honestly, I'm just looking at the egg because I think Watchog is probably going to be more trouble than it's worth, I'd rather Nathan avoid Ventus entirely for the time being, and Chingling is worth nothing experience wise. And a training session for Ditto just feels a little...anticlimactic. The egg and Druddigon are the more exciting encounters.
Druddigon would be the perfect chance to try out Ditto properly since it would know Dragon Claw upon Transforming into the dragon, and I would actually have preferred to be present there, but...
...no matter what happens here, someone's going to be walking away unsatisfied, probably...

No he's not. He skipped out on the second set so he could participate in the third, so he can bid for the egg if it comes down to that...

I expected to at least find something neat to get. Since i avoid the last set of encounters. If I loose this bidding war I take the Watchog. So I need to put in bidding some XP right?

....Then things are about to become more complicated then. Since you are going to be getting a Delta Onix, could I ask you to forfeit the Egg too and go after something else? You are going to get an ultra Rare Delta species, so is losing one Egg such a significant thing?

Well...in this case I fortreit the egg. Gonna battle against Watchog then. Never refuse a chance to battle get XP. And this might be a good chance for Tynamo fight.

A Watchog is actually a cool and...well, only in my view, useful Pokemon! I like the moves it learns, it learns Baton Pass for only 39xp and lethal Crunch for 16xp, Rototiller for 0xp is a good move if you own many Grass Types like for example Shiva does.
