[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

Soon it has been offered more food than it knows what to do with.

Well, he'd been expecting these kinds of questions...just not so many...all at once...he'd have to find Shiva and warn her if possible...

"Guys, if I we could get a little space, I'd appreciate that.  Thank you for giving her food, I'm sure she appreciates it, but please let her be for a little bit, alright?  She's got a busy day ahead of her, and I need to discuss what it'll be like with her."

*Flashback!*

Ven let out a small sigh of relief when Azrael decided Heart wasn't fit for consumption/sudden flambéing , and let them pet the so long as they like. Typically Deino are a lot more feisty and prone to inflict injury than not, but it looks like his child is rather docile relatively speak!

(...)

The researcher silently nodded his head in response to the collector's calculations/reveal and plans to sell the Sableye Garnet, giving the chewed on gem an appraising look as he did so. "Yes, that gem would be would more than its weight in Poke if you find the right gem cutting and can Cut a good deal with them, and if not it should easily cover the cost of a Metal Coat by itself. Regardless of whether you sell it or not, just text or call me when you have the funds, and I'll meet up with you to start our trade!"

*Flashback End!*

Start of Day 52!

Awakening was a sluggish, miresome affair for Ventus this morning, as yesterday's events had taken enough toll on his psyche to make his rest thoroughly uncomfortable. Fortunately he was able to get some quality rest despite that thanks to Azrael, who he had snuggled with throughout the night out a desire to further bond with her and for the much needed blissful comfort of sleeping with his child. The black angel was swift to be rosed from her slumber as her papa got out of the bed to begin his morning rituals, latching onto a hand to stop him from wandering off too far. No, don't go! Its too early to get out of bed! More snuggles and cuddles instead!

The empath could only fondly chuckle and give his child as he scooped them up into his arms to give them what they wanted, before reaching over to his satchel by the bed to pull out a few apples for her to munch on as he set them and her down on the bed. The black 'n blueberry almost immediately dove upon the tasty red fruit, devouring and savoring them as he used the opportunity to get cleaned, dressed, and ready for the day! After that was done, she finished her breakfast by that point and collapsed on the bed with and let out a happy *Burp!*, causing her papa to come over and gave them one last loving pat on the head, before returning her to their Pokeball to digest her breakfast in peace, and then exited his room to grab his own.

A bowl of hearty oatmeal and a trip to PC to switch out Delta Onix for Haziel (Natu) later, and Ventus was ready to begin his plans for the day as he briskly passed through the lobby and exited the Pokémon center, releasing his prophetic bird and crounching down to let them hop onto his shoulders. He offered them both a kind smile and a handful of hulled sunflower seeds, before he started to request their aid for a task.

"Haziel, I need your aid for a particular series of tasks I wish to accomplish in a timely manner, so let me explain what needs be done. We need to teleport to the Department Store to pick up some supplies, then we need to go to Arrowroot Village to offload them in exchange for some other supplies that are not easily acquired elsewhere. Can you do that for me, my brother?"

Order: Go to the Dpt. Store and buy 4 Super Potions and 2 Potions for $3200 Poke total, then later Teleport to Arrowroot and sell the for $4800 Poke due to markup on manufactured goods, and then purchase 3 Sitrus Berries, 1 Sweet Root, and $100 Poke worth of durable Escape Rope from the General Store for $2100 Poke, resulting in a remaining balance of $2835 Poke. During the 1 Hour wait in Arrowroot he'll also release Apsis and go with her to hunt of in the outskirts of town so that she can thoroughly glut herself on the wild Pokemon and not have to worry about starving for awhile. This trip will cost me more than it will make, but I get a lot out of it in exchange, so that's nice too!

Afterwards Ven will Teleport himself back to Cress City, so this should take about an Encounter total to do. Once he's back in the city, he'll be ready to trade with Heart (Assuming he gets that Gemstone sold by this time; we can flashback to it if necessary), and afterwards will go to the Center to exchange Haziel/Scizors and Ao Guang for Lilith and Lucifer, and after purchasing some sweet fruit for Lilith to munch on latter (He'll auto buy it) Ven will search around for a 6V6 Double Battle for $1000 Poke, with the stipulations of No OHKO moves, no Sleep moves, and only one Healing Item used per Pokémon. Besides that, anything else goes! Lilith and Hanael will be the first two Pokémon that will be used, so there is that to be considered as well!

Okay, that's everthing! Lets get a move on!

Oh, I totally forgot something for Nathan.

In the morning, the instant he wakes up, he hears a voice in his room! It's a loud whisper, coming from his backpack. It sounds like it's saying "Dih-cah-lih, Dih-cah-lih" over and over!

.....It was as Shiva expected: When she woke up in the morning, she felt...alright. She has regained some of her shy vigor from several restful hours of sleep cuddled up in the bed of the dorm which she had aaaall for herself. Yesterday evening she did nothing except feeding all her Pokemon dinner from a normal plate as the Furret took her orchid-patterned plate when they took the offered Gourmet food. *sob* That one Nuzleaf in her party was also handed to a Nurse Joy after she brought all her stuff upstairs.

Shiva was suprised how her not-so-small Furret ate way more than she may have expected, and even was taller than she was if one would count in the tail. o.o Nevertheless she let him sleep over curled up at the end of the bed while she herself has Azumarill and Snivy-Plus to cuddle.

Due to having turned in for the night pretty early (for her), she woke up respectively early - around the same time Ventus would have awoken her. Taken a look at the clock on her cell, only to hear the Hoothoot  of the Clocktower coo the moment she did, she turned around in bed and snuggled deeper into the pillows...... Before in a sudden strike of anticipation, she threw the blanket back, made a haste to bagpack at the foot of table, retrived that package from the Daycare, and made just as much haste back into bed where she threw the blanket all over herself to open that package under the covers. Wonder what it contained...? What was so important that Gold and Wir were sending it to her....?

When Shiva takes a look at the clock on her cell, she remembers it's not working at all, as it got fried in Mt. Sentry.

She opens the package anyway. Inside is...a cell phone, very much like her old one except without any contacts or personalization. She notices that the top secret modifications by the Daycare couple are included.

A message: "We received an alert that your phone had stopped signalling. This usually means it has broken. To activate this new one, just enter the date you first met us, in DDMMYYYY format. That'll prove it's you. Sent this with Mallorn to ensure its safety.

If your phone is not broken, simply destroy this one with a powerful Pokemon move.

Your ally, Golda."

Ventus performs his trade as we agreed, satisfying the trade demands of Arrowroot for a while.

When he returns, rather late in the day, he finds not a single person willing to battle. Someone explains to him that in Cress City, they battle only for ceremonial or cultural purposes, and of course self-defense. They prefer to befriend their Pokemon through other means, and select companions who grow well under these conditions.

Is the sociologist at all interested in this?

Had Ventus been in a better mindset/his 'normal' self (for a given definition of the word), he would been greatly interested (to him) Cress City's population's fairly unique cultural attitude/tradition concerning their relationship/what they expect out of Pokémon, and would have no doubt badgered the person for more information along this line. As it stand, though, the sociologist was hardly in the mood for research, and so he only thanked the person for the information, took out his private journal to note this down for the record/further inquiry, and recorded a voice message for everyone in the party to explain this fact. He then continued his search for delicous fruit to appease Lilith/pay the debt he owes to her, and then headed back to the Pokémon Center. There, he switched out Lucifer for Haziel, exited the Center, and requested that Haziel teleport them back to Stair City so that they can search for battles there. If Cress City by and large held a aversion to battling, then he would have to go towards greener pasters as it were.

Order: Have Ventus note down that particular fact, share it with everyone, continue search for Sweet Fruit and buy it for Lilith, then use Haziel to Teleport to Stair City and search for a battle. $1000 Poke wager, 4V4, No Sleep, OHKO, or Switcher Moves, and 1 Healing Item per Pokémon. Hanael and Lilith still be first choices. Hey, if Cress don't like fights, go somewhere else for them!

Ventus finds a battle in Stair City with an enormous man whose eyes nevertheless flash like a trainer seeking a battle. He introduces himself as Bottle.

You find a good spot to square off in the Battle Plateau, which is covered in the final remnants from the Little Cup's stadium. That's as far as the big guy is willing to walk, but you do notice he leaps with surprisingly fluid steps.

When Heart awaken, he take a good old shower to finally begin the day. In his path to the pc he make a quick changes in the team. He let in the party: Rose, Gustav, Koa, Patrat, Typhon and Caesar. Heart let out Caesar, Koa and Patrat to enjoy the trip in the city. And it is quite a while since Koa as out of the pokeball. "Welp, first of all we need to find someone to take a look in this garnet. I want to at least make a good money with this."

Mechanic: Begin day 52 searching a place to take in the gem to cut the sabbleeye bites! Perhaps a shop of gems or something like that.
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.

You find a jeweler. Asking after his rates, it seems they will absorb most of the value of cutting it. If you wait two days while he cuts it, your profit will go from $3900 to $4500.

The same gentleman would be happy to buy it from you directly for the $3900.
