Heart take a few notes about Sarimanok. This information is quite good. When he was going to exit, he notices a presence. Koa, Patrat and Viktor was enjoying be out of the pokeball. He careful aproach to not startle Nathan, since things is getting a little better. Conflict is something Heart dont want. "Uh, heya Nathan. Sorry to bother you."

Nathan's quiet for a moment.  When he does respond, he doesn't open his eyes, choosing instead to focus on his meditations a little more.

"Heart.  What brings you here?"

...Actually, yes, many things even.

If the Fortune Hunter is acquainted with this guy, he can't be that bad, and Shiva instantly feels more fine be around him. "I'm aaalways searching for things. Humanity is always searching for stuff; water, oil, power, whatever, I'm actually fine with searching for treasures, other loot as well as experience and resilience. Right now, I'm also looking for the Medium said to be here... Is she or he really here? Can they be visited, not now, but tomorrow? Should I...ask to visit her, like an appointment? A Pokemon Spirit to complete something I'm working on is what I am seeking out the most, and I'd be happy to get their help... And any interesting Pokemon Egg containing a hard to get species. And more Destiny Knots."

"As well as......." Shiva takes a meaningful look around inside the tent, making sure it's only her, her Pokemon and that funny guy, before moving a little closer and lowering her voice. "....the elusive Secret Library. Or big black pillarshaped stones, often carved with strange symbol that I strongly believe are runes, can be dozens of meter tall. Rumored to be somewhere under Mount Sentry... Part of the reason why I came here to Cress City is to get more information about this...'place'."

"The Medium, I will find you for free. As proof that I am who I say I am! Finding elusive stones and pillarshaped libraries will come with a very reasonable fee, plus expenses."

He sniffs the air again. "The Medium, she is down four rows and over two. It smells like she has a, a Poliwag, a booth of velvet draperies in...yes, dark blue, I'd say, or maybe navy. Here is my card. Give me a call if you decide to hire me!"

"Nothing much. I was searching the Cathedral trying to find a rare pokemon. A gothic person I battle having a Gargryph, a pokemon of Tandor, and he mentioned he have capture in this place. Didnt have luck though. But I find some curious Palij imported from Tandor. And found a book about Sarimanok. About his conection with a few Legendaries. And you?"

"Nothing much. I was searching the Cathedral trying to find a rare pokemon. A gothic person I battle having a Gargryph, a pokemon of Tandor, and he mentioned he have capture in this place. Didnt have luck though. But I find some curious Palij imported from Tandor. And found a book about Sarimanok. About his conection with a few Legendaries. And you?"

"...heh.  Gargryph, huh? I wonder if..."

"Oh, the Pahar?  Yeah, they're used to light the candles each night.  A lot more effective than the other fire types they used to use, seeing as they can fly.  Those birds being imported was a fairly big deal.  I do wonder if any of them have Flame Body, though..."

"Me?  Not for research or rare pokemon.  This is...a special place in Creshire.  I figured I'd pay my respects while I was around."

Nathan opens his eyes and turn around to face Heart, still sitting cross legged.  If Heart looks just to the side of Nathan, he might notice there's a framed picture sitting there...(Insight+Alert check for Heart, please, @Iron!)

"...ah, Sarimanok and his Legendaries.  That's a rather...broad topic, to say the least.  Have you heard his full story yet?  I was actually planning on talking about it with Princess for a little bit.  You can listen as well if you like."

"I dont know much. I know he was able to befriend with the Lake Trio. I also learn in the book here, he come to Tandor a time ago to learn about two Legendary about called Aotios and Mutios, the Ying Yang Pokemon. And he also take search about Jirachi and the golem pokemon: Reggirock, Reggice and Reggisteel. He also befriend a group of Pokemon called "Royal Trio" who somehow represent Royalty, Kingdom and Knighthood. The book say he have such strong conection he was able to summon them."

"He somehow have a conection with Landorus too, but try to replace him with a Legendary bird of Fire/Ice/Lighting. And some passages about on certain particular pokemon who used to be strong in the old days (the link is something about Larvitar, Charizard, Pidgeot and Heracross). Thats all I learn today."

The guy passes out right there. You can see his wallet sticking out of his shirt pocket, at least. Looks like a hip flask as well.

The Natural Sage, while typically serene and composed in battle, couldn't help his hand flying to his mouth in shock horror as the overly large electric rodent all but carved into his grassy demoness with that Thunderbolt, causing her to let our a loud *Sqwuak!* in pain. He was tempted to recall her right then and their to preserve her health, if it was not for the burst of outrage and the even louder *Hiiiiisss!* she issued, positively livid at being made a joy buzzer by the mouse, before she proceeded to channel all that anger into her next Peck to utterly bore right into it, knocking it clean out! No one mess with her like so, and not invoke nature's wrath!!!

'......I suppose Lilith will be fine for now, if she can muster than must righteous fury to annilate her foes. She'll need to be well rewarded for all her efforts with the blueberries I bought, if I hope to palicate her enough not to turn her temper on me......' he thought subsequently afterwards, before focusing on the battle once more.

Beside a bit of annoyance when he ended up scrambling to catch his Wide Lens once that huge pitcherplant Knocked it right Off (which helped further take his mind of Lilith nearly being made into fried greens), the researhcer's attention was piqued when Bottle brought up that interesting tibit, causing them speak up with: "Truly? Are you talking about Triopus, or the Hoppip line, or some other Grass/Flying type. Or are you alluding to another Pokémon with an odd type combination?"

In the end, those questions ended going unanswered as the lush up and passed out on him, leaving his Overgrown Raichu no doubt clueless and perhaps even exasperated annoyance at this. After all, if the man claimed to be in love with alcohol, this might be a semi-regular occurance for him and his Pokémon....

Ventus and his sisters could only stare as this happened, him with a clear look of disbelief/increadulousness, Lilith with an air of ruffled contempt, and Hanael in plain confusion, as it was supposed to be the Pokémon that Fainted, not human. Eventually, the empath managed close his eyes and slowly shake his head, before transferring his gaze to the Raichu, deadpan inquisitiveness now pervading his expression as he posed a question at them.

"Raichu, in light of your master passing out on you, do you wish to continue to battle, or would you prefer to forfeit? In the later case, could you help me escort this man to the Pokémon Center, so he can sleep off his intoxication in peace?"

Order: React to the ongoing events, and plainly ask Raichu if they want to continue to battle or not. If not, then he'll ask for their help in taking Bottle to the Center, and explaining to the Nurse on hand that he passed out mid battle, and ask if this ment he could collect his wagered $1000 Poke from them. If so, Lilith's going back into her ball for Azrael, and Hanael and her will just wail on the mouse with SE Moves/Dragon Rage 3 Times per round, before he goes off to find a Police Officer to help sort out this matter. My my my.....didn't expect this to happen.....

Raichu just giggles and helps you haul the giant man off to the Pokemon Center, where Nurse Joy thanks you for being honest.

"We know Bottle here, quite well. Sadly. Yes, I would just take the money from him. You say he only had one Pokemon left, and that's this wounded Raichu? I'm sure he intended to forfeit. He usually hides most of his money away, so hopefully there's enough here... Let me see....$1000, was it?" She fishes out the money, and you see he has few other bills in that wallet.

"Here you are. Thank you for bringing him in. Whoever invents a Healing Machine for humans will be a very rich man."


She leans down to Bottle's ear. "Bottle! Bottle, it's Nurse Joy. I'm going to put your Pokemon in the Healing Machine, OK? OK Bottle?" There's no response, so she makes a face at Ventus and collects the four Pokeballs. Raichu hops up and taps himself into one.

"Bottle isn't a big fan of allowing his Pokemon to faint. They're so big and they need a lot of energy!"

Perfect!  Because this particular picture has some interesting details in it!

For one, there's three people in this picture, standing in a stable.  A middle aged woman, a man that looks strikingly like Nathan when he's not wearing his jacket and fedora, and a kid that looks to be approaching his early teens.  Looks to be kinda similar to his dad in appearance, but he has his mother's eyes.  There's a newborn Ponyta in front of all of them.

Probably not hard to determine that this is a picture of Nathan and his parents. Maybe an odd thing for Nathan to have out if he was simply 'paying his respects'...maybe.

What Heart will also notice is the particularly fierce looking Luxray (Heart can practically feel Luxray looking right at HIM through the picture. It has quite the piercing gaze...) standing next to Nathan's dad, and the Rapidash next to his mom.  Though there's something...weird about that Rapidash.  Like there's a hint of blue in its coat and flames...

...Heart can't see a Ralts anywhere in the picture, though. Or any member of the evolution line, for that matter.

Heart feel a little shamed for invade Nathan personal moment. About that picture and all. Also, touching someone about family is something Heart dont feel right. But he couldnt hold that sequence of questions. "Sorry to ask but...that people in the picture...they are your parents? You dont need to tell me if you dont want..." Heart dont feel right interrupt Nathan in his personal moment. Even more they have some problems in the past. He dont want to cause suffer between them. He just to both of them be in peace with each other. Perhaps not as friends, since Heart still remember Nathan say he dont consider Heart a friend. But at least members of the same team, be able to exist in peace. This is a sincere wish. And Heart dont feel comfortable to invade the personal space of Nathan...specially when he have a moment of memory.
