Well, Shiva has plans for the next in-game Day already, but the battle can happen right away as the first Encounter after discussing things about Bill and that guy with the highly sensitive nose who found her.

Have a question for you Iron: would Rain Dance and other weather moves work indoors? In the case of Sandstorm that's a solid yes, and its seems that some variant of Rain Dance can be preformed inside places judging by the Vaporeon's rendition of it in Corsage Aquarium looooong ago, but what about Hail and Sunny Day?

Also, concerning Ao Guang, is 2 Loyalty enough to send him into battles and not expect him to start murdering things if they piss him off/he's advised not to do such things for his own well being? Ven's still not going to order him around too much besides 'Do whatever within those boundries', but I'd like another option to bond with him besides wild Pokémon battles and occasional forays to Vapor Falls, since hunting is not necessarily a easy way to earn his good graces.

Of course, this now reminds me of that trinket that makes Dragons like people better that Ventus researched in Winesberry loooong ago. Is there any other places that Ven could look up info as to how to get the Azure Dragon to like him enough not to resort to soppy murder when provoked?

Do you remember how Shiva created Sunny Weather indoors during her battle against Zamboni by having Azurill move some icy plates with Huge Power (cost an Action), then have Comite smash the door of the Gym open and keep it open with a Rock Throw to allow the beams of morning sun coming into the Gym, which Nightshade then powered up? ^_^ All to increase the damage of Braixen's Embers.

For weather moves to work indoors there needs to be a setup of some kind, like Shiva's example. Vaporeon used the extreme moisture of the aquarium. Sandstorm would work in any area with dust, like a dungeon or cave, but would require setup in a clean environment. I can't think of many situations where Hail would work indoors - a meat locker?

2 Loyalty out of 4 disobedience is still pretty disobedient. At this stage, he won't murder things without a reason, but Pokemon who annoy him (super effective attacks, rival species, or moves he considers cheating) could get the hammer if the roll was bad enough. At 3 Loyalty he will still have a chance to ignore orders but won't murder when ordered not to.

I'll start thinking of techniques that Ventus could research when he visits places with cached knowledge. The Violet Tent (ha!), the Cathedral, Telperion University, and even Professor Mallorn are possibilities off the top of my head. And the Secret Library - who knows what knowledge is contained there?
In a safe environment you can also experiment with potential new techniques that Ventus dreams up.

The Soothe Rattle is intended to help with Happiness, but Happiness can lead to Loyalty for sure.

Thank you for all the detailed Info on the mechanics of the Enigma Berry, Iron, I'll make sure to link the post to the Berry in Inventory! Couldn't help but to buy one of these, I'll state it crystalclear when Shiva consumes it. When and more important where it'll be it, I don't yet know, but it might indeed turn out as something where Shiva is alone around to prevent headaches. Two locations spring to mind right away.
