Emolga chatters to you, a bit sympathetically, and then hops down to land on Furret. From there he starts looking around quite seriously, talking about what he sees all the while. 

(Nothing says the old stuff can't lead into the new, after all! Also, wow.  Yet another pokemon recruited against the odds of doing so...Nathan's on quite the roll here, isn't he?  Well, minus Furret being slightly stubborn, but at least none of those rolls have outright failed horribly...yet...)

That brings the smile back to Nathan's face.  "Thanks, Emolga.  Well then, how about I get ya a proper pokeball, then?  I think a Flash Ball should do it.  Get a picture of the surrounding area so you'll always have a little bit of home with ya while we're abroad.  Sound good?  Oh, and I'd like you to be in the picture as well, Furret.  I've made some great friends here, so I definitely want to remember this moment."

And after that, it's on to Celebi's shrine we go!  I'll have to think about who to send to the PC for a bit, so we'll deal with the flashing pokeball buttons for the walk there...but someone's definitely goin' to the PC when I make my next post.

In pokemon battles, its always important to try to predict the type of actions your adversary might do before he do. Of course, its impossible to predict everything your foe might do, even if you know what he or she will do." Heart explain. "But against you Shiva, it will be a challenge to predict what you might do against my pokemon. I not a master of strategy, but I have a few ones. Bring your best Shiva."

With an in curiosity/attention tilted head Shiva listened to what Heart had to say there, Cottonee, still comfortably on her head and snuggled into her hair, had to balance herself a little to keep her place up there. Shiva doesn't respond anything to Heart, but from the dreamy look into the distance she eventually got it was visible that she was mulling over what he said.

Predictment, that was an important aspect for letting a battle develop to one's own favour and to eventually win - that much she knows from her theoretical knowledge about battling. How often has she seen constant switching in these broadcasts of League Battles! Whether she herself is good a predicting, she doesn't really know, as her main focus lays on outplaying her Pokemon's strengths and tricks against a foe and finding combinations of moves that bring her an advantage for her side. (She's only having 2 Points in Fight Skill, after all.)

Only when she heard her name being called, her mind found its way back to the current place, and she faintly shook her head as it hit the ground. "Oh, uhm.... well, I figured there's so much I can do with my dear Pokemon, and that there's only more room for growth as I continue spending time with them. I, eh, will try to bring my best." Azumarill got into a posture that clealry showed that she WILL bring her best for her sweet Master who evolved her and put an end to the sadness, while Kyuu by Shiva's side simply yawned heartly, showing his pointy teeth in the process. His ears are tightly closed.

Valder/ @Nylon knows that if Haunter goes down there solo, the two Pokemon may just fight, or Haunter may be the one drive back, and Haunter could even take injury. That's a third stage vs a second stage, and Chandelure's toughness hasn't been assessed yet.

There won't be any way to observe an interaction between the two Pokemon.

So this will have to be something that Nylon specifically authorizes.

(Sweet, that means I have two Haunter/Gengar [Since that is what they'll be when traded] to barter with! Not sure if Cress is the right place to flog them, though, so some Teleporting might be necessary to find the right place for trading.

As for the Haunter/Chandelure Conflict, you are right about that, but I'll state that Ven will give over one of his Sitrus Berries for Haunter to hold onto should Valder/ @Nylon agree to this plan of action.)

Valder will go with it on one condition: That If there's an encounter later on that Valder really wants, but is taken by Ventus, he'll be allowed to get it that one time as a gift. (I believe I have something like this with Shiva from a crate or something way back, bidk)
 Haunter is holding the Razor Claw. Can I somehow have him hold the red half gem that appeared in my pocket a while back as well. Who knows, maybe he likes it. If he does and he can only hold one he can take the gem instead.

(Mate, the main reason I want to give Haunter a Sitrus is that when it phases into wherever Chandelure is hiding (Or not) as a method of minimizing risk against it. If Haunter isn't holding the Sitrus Berry before and during that time (IE: Either holding the Evolite or Quick Claw instead), then I might as well keep the berry until needed by Ven and the rest of the group. )

He can easily hold two items, one in each hand, but only one can ever count for battle even if the other would have somehow advantaged him.

Heart vs Shiva Round 1

Shiva has somewhat expected that he'd try to gain an advantage over her much beloved blue mouse rabbit, so the sight of Phantump and that smol Tynamo opening the battle from his side didn't came as much of a surpise. She's mostly standing there at her affirmend spot, arms slightly crossed, and overly has a calm attitude surrounding. Insecurity is present, definitely, but she doesn't let it win over her.

Azumarill herself doesn't seem to be impressed by that ghostplant and electric eel-thingy, and makes a determined leap towards them showing that she's all ready and just awaits her sweet Master's orders - once or twice she casts a glance over to her. Kyuu on the other hand seemed to prefer staying close to Shiva instead and starting this in his tempo, his evolution isn't long ago yet. Though from how his two tails twitch, she knows that he's as well just waiting for orders.


Meanwhile, Meowstic has padded around behind Heart's Pokemon. He makes a sudden whistle, and when they turn around in surprise, he's making a horrifying face!
Shiva pointed forward with one arm, which was the signal for Kyuu to unfold his ears.

From Azumarill comes not an Ice Beam, but a strange and eldritch noise, a sort of buzzing. A plague descends on Phantump!

Haunter bravely dives into the Candelabra and phases through it. You can see his hands sticking out as he descends the pipe. When he reaches the ground level and disappears from sight entirely, the Candelabra flares to life and stays aflame.

Haunter resurfaces immediately, his gaseous tail gleaming brightly with a touch of blue fire. You're not sure exactly what happened down there, but Haunter reports that Chandelure is indeed down there! He looks willing to duck back in if asked to. (He's got 4 Loyalty!)

I'll pause here to give you a chance to ask Haunter any questions or clarify your commands. Ven, it's probably fine if you assume Valder will agree to minor changes in your plan, since it seems that is OK with Nylon. Within reason, of course.
