The next mere seconds, several things happened all at once, from that spectre turning into a Misdreavus - she should have known! But...why was it here at the Center? -, over Lilith looking at that Ghost not too impressed but rather annoyed, if not angry, due to being reminded on that nasty Rotom once crossing her line, to Ventus sweeping around to envelop her into his arms. Shiva clinged to the fabric of his green sweater, starting to STARE at that Misdreavus pretty deadpaned once he opened up that it's his new companion. Swiftly, seeing as that Ghost seemed business and had the potential to strike back, Shiva waved to her Psychic Type, catching her attention. "Lilith, PLEASE STOP. False alarm, do not attack this Ghost as it belongs to Ventus here. Unless we want to ruin things with him or it comes too close to us, we'll leave this Misdreavus alone. Okay?"

Back to leaning into the hug, concentrating on her breath, slowly recovering from that instant and unexpected startle. Feeling his heartbeat close helped, eventually she managed to speak clearly again. "So it's yours... You got yourself a Ghost type too? Hehe... How...sweet to see, Ven. Why a...Misdreavus though... Please keep her under control, dear. Let her consume fear is she wants, but please not mine. So many wild Pokemon and people outside she can scare... My Litwick would be happy to consume the life force of the scared... You promised to take me to one of your hunting trips, Ven." These words were muttered, so that only Ventus would understand them if paying attention, there is no need for Nathan to know that sentiment of Shiva. Yet.

"I won't even ask where and how you got her. Haha... It seems like almost everyone got a new companion today - I did too, but I haven't introcuded myself to her yet so you cannot see her yet. N...Now then" - she backed a little away from Ventus, dearly facing him then looking to the side - "I am ready, so let us....depart!~" She waved to Nathan in terms of goodybe and goodnight, then recalled Lilith to her painted Premier Ball AFTER Ventus recalled Melphena as well ('Such a cool name!", she thought), before making their way to Romantic Hills B&B, searching for the roomkeys and preparing some money to pay the rest of the price for he room.

To her credit, Malphena immediately relaxed her threatening posture once Shiva rescinded her earlier orders, giving the fearful woman a magnanimous and aloof look that pretty much said 'I forgive you this slight, but I won't forget it,' before choosing to float over to Nathan's side of all places, as her master side was clearly occupied. Nobody but in this group but her new master seemed to appreciate a good scare and dose of horror, and so she'll likely have to stop 'greeting' his friends like that if she doesn't want to cause unwanted trouble. What a utter drag.....but still, given how gung ho that abnormal Ralts was being, she certainly had other venues of entertainment available, so she wasn't going to be found board at ALL, tehe....!

For his part Ventus heaved a great big sigh of relief, and after sparing Nathan only a brief deadpan (if chastised) look at his comment turned to face his most blessed of friends an Mareepish, apologetic smile for his mischievous spirit's prank. 

"He he.....yes, indeed I have. Traded for her in Corsage while I was doing some business there from a hapless Youngster named Pug, and now she's a part of my big, wonderful family. She's well trained and disciplined, so she won't conjur up any mischief upon you nor feed on your fears unless WE (Points to himself and Shiva) permit it, so be at peace with this knowledge. As for why she decided to scare you, I permitted her earlier to try and do the same to Nathan as what I thought would be a humorous scare, so she must have assumed doing the same to you was perfectly acceptable. Forgive me for this and the schadenfreude, my dear. It won't happen again, I promise you...."

At her whisper woods, he didn't visibly react, but something in his hug would tell her all was permissable on that front. He too shared the sentiment that Nathan should be kept out of the loop on their hunting trip, for they already disapproved of his existing hunts with Apsis, let alone let his own Pokemon doing such things....

The researcher perked up and gave his mystical friend a curious look at the mention of her acquiring a new Pokemon herself, but he decided to let that matter go for the moment and nod his head in agreement, letting her go and recalling his sister back to her Pokeball/whatever type of ball it is and following after. If he was completely honest with himself, he was nervous and slightly terrified of this 'not date' with Shiva, with both feeling doing their level best to tie a knot in his stomach despite his efforts to control those feelings. However, he would be lying if he tried to tell himself he wasn't looking forward to this as well. Oh, what a night this will be....

Ventus just can't help but smile at the cheerfulness eminating from Emolga, as finding a wild Pokemon that was this naturally sociable outside certain species was quite rare!

"Hard to image, given how thoroughly amicable he is, even compared to his own species, but he'll certainly not be wanting for good company now."

The researcher then sticks his hand into his satchel and pulls out an apple, holding it out for the lively mouse to grab, if he so choose. He's aware that rodent Pokemon often have a voracious appetite, so it might appreciate the snack!

Their former owner did a fine job of raising her his way, I agree, but I will let you know I plan on letting Misdreavus feeding on my own fear and that of the Pokemon that Apsis hunts if she finds it acceptable, as she deserves to have that choice. If she find such a diet is distasteful, I'll respect her wishes and not force the change on her. Similarly, you could continue caring for your own Pokemon the way you best see fit, but on occasion come with me to hunt and let them sate their carnivorous appetite to give them that experience seldom others would. *Sighs* I'm not asking you to abandon you current method of feeding them, Nathan. All I'm asking is that you try it, and see the results for yourself. Not for my sake, but for their's."

A nod of Ventus' head was the only respond he gave to Nathan on that remark, but the boy could clearly see the gears churning in the researcher's head as he added this account to all the other information he possesses....

Sighing in relief, the empath gave them a small smile at the news all was well between them and their mother.

"Good. That's....good to hear. Sorry for asking, but....well, you understand where my concern comes from."

At Nathan's discrete but knowledgable jab, a look of dull surprise washed across Ven's face, as he didn't expect the boy to cotton on to such......feelings between him and Shiva. 

Reshirim be thanked greatly, though, for just moments later Shiva, like an merciful angel descending from the heavens, swooped into the lobby to 'rescue' him from having to answer the boy's question (both stated and implied)! He was careful not the show/radiate any relief that would give her/Nathan any material to gauge his true feelings, but his body did simultaneously relaxed and stiffened under his most blessed friend's touch, and a simply happy smile appeared as the empath looked up to return her greeting.

"Hello to you too, Shiva. No, me and Nathan were just finishing up discussing various topics, so need to fret. I'm....I'm ready to depart when you are, Shiva. Let us....enjoy our night together, my dear...."

"Creshirean Emolga are semi-nocturnal in addition to reclusive according to the pokedex, so...yeah.  He was pretty grumpy when I woke him up this morning completely on accident, but the good company brought the smile back to his face pretty quickly."

...though Ralts isn't exactly pleased that Malphena decided to drift over in their direction.  He makes shooing motions at the ghostie.  'No, go away!  Let me stare at this book in peace and quiet!'  Nathan doesn't particularly mind as long as the ghost isn't causing any trouble, though.

What a relief it is for Ralts when Ventus finally recalls her and leaves...particularly now that he doesn't have to deal with receiving all those weird, mixed up feelings from both Ventus and Shiva...how exhausting...

Shiva herself mostly shares the hidden nervosity with him but not the terrified feelings, but at the same time was and still is looking forward to this evening with almost every fibre of her being. All within her naturally coy nature though, but she couldn't help that dear smile that soon developed on her expression.

Eventually, she realized one thing that she maybe should mention towards him, now that they were on their way, so she gave Ven's arm or hand a squeeze if he's fine with still holding her still. If not, which would be fine as well, she'd simply nudge him on the shoulder. "Oh! Ven, I... I should probably let you know where we're actually heading to, should I? So, ehm... I don't know if you realized, but there are several Bead&Breakfast Hotels here in Chreshire, all modeled after a theme! Yesterday I investigated some of them, and found one that more of the...romantic manner." She did't face Ventus when she spoke that out, but she continues to faintly smile and speak without stopping here. "Here's a leaflet I took from there. (Containing this information) And YOUR room keys! *swiftly hands both* I just....wanted to spend a night with you there... Hehe... Use that hot tub first, then dinning? How does that sound to you?"

'.....My intuition have once again shines true in this instance, and I'm undecided as to yet this is an entirely positive thing or not,' is what Ventus thought as he pages through the brooche and the words romantic manner tolled ominiously in his head. Still, he agreed not only to this 'evening out' , but also to accept her own affections for him if he gave him time and honestly desired to court such a wretched man as himself, so it wasn't like he was unprepared nor unwilling to do this. 

It didn't change the fact he was rapidly becoming a big old bundle of nerve at the rate things were going, despite his best attempts to strangle his nerves into submission. 'I do hope they have strong spirits as they advertised, for I will surely need them to control myself. Oh, the irony......'

After a moment to digest all this, he slowly nodded his head and offered a timid smile to Shiva, his words holding a faint tremer that underscore just how NERVOUS he was.

"That would.....be lovely. Yes, very lovely. Its been quite some time since I've enjoyed such luxeries, and I can't think of another person to share such things with than you, my dearest....."

Oh right, actually Shiva does have a pocket umbrella in her stuff, but she didn't took it to stage nor could she have been sure that her plan would work out. Nevermind, next time she'll remember that, she doesn't wear an make-up currently that could have ended up being smeared and there's probably still enough time to towel her hair dry before she's pick Ventus in the Lobby. She could even - will - do on the way with that towel from the Spa Resort in Fireweed Forest.

What a precious and enjoyable battle though, even if it lasted not even a minute! Azu didn't looked pained at all, so Shiva ended up picked the fae rabbit up and they ended up sharing a loooong and tight hug that would hopefully never end - for now, Azu has leveled-up from being her bringer of happiness to her bringer of happiness AND summoner of rain. Letting the sun shine to her desire and the rain fall when she calls for it - nature surely was benelovent if treated right, and Shiva felt almost blessed that she made it reaching this point together with her Pokemon.


That delightful moment was soon 'disturbed' by that guy running up to her, catching her attention and earning wondering chirp from Azu. Shiva carefully listened what he had to say, before that soft-compliment for her battle sinked and caused a pretty coy yet thankful manner and body language. She struggles to face that man when responding, drawing Azumarill closer up to her face, but it was obvious that she was smiling in silent delight. "I'd be...happy to contribute my battle to that compilation... I indeed am, t-thank you! Really. No cropping out needed. I'll look forward to receiving that copy, I'll probably send it home to my parents." After careful reading of the form, Shiva signs it with her full name, hands it back, and places Azurmarill down beside her. (I'll add 600$ to charasheet then. Does Shiva receive such a red flower with a clip as well, simply for symbolism?)

Shiva also coyly waved to Heart in the crowd, but before they can make their way to the Center again (or wherever Hearts wants to go) and Shiva could meet up with Ven, she has one small sentiment towards the Kimonogirls:

You and Azu have a strong bond between you too. Just like my bond with Rose." Heart smile. "I think tomorrow the battle shall continue, and I problably going to fight next maybe. I gonna train a bit to be ready. Its still have some light today, so I will try to find someone to battle. Koa and Typhon still need to sharp their claws and eletric attacks. I have decided to take Koa or Rose to the next pokemon battle. There might something interesting to happen. I beg your pardón Shiva. But I going to take you to the pokemon center or other place you want."

Mechanics: Acompany Shiva to the pokemon or other place then find someone to battle! 5x5, 700 pokedollars. Since Koa and Gustav still having faint and recovering from the last battle, I gonna change that too in the PC. Unless they are already recover.

No one in Cress City is willing to battle you, because they only battle for ceremonial purposes here.

After Heart failling to find someone to battle, he decided to return to the pokemon Center. He bring Koa, Tynamo and Rose. "Welp guys. Lets do some training today. After the battle we do today, you did a great job today. But we cant let that victory to avoid us. Tynamo, as always, lets train you energy production. Koa, you have some problems with your ability about other gender of you. Since a simple human its not strong enough, then lets do a double battle. Me and Rose shall fight you. No special moves, only our sheer strengh. Rose, this is a special to you too. This time you shall need to learn how to use one hundred percent of the potential of your speed. Lets go!"

After waiting in the lobby for a little bit longer to make sure Heart and Valder are reminded about the Mr. Finder fund (no need to RP this, it's been hammered in enough already), Nathan heads back to his room.

He spends some time just reading a few of those stories from the book to Ralts, Furret, Forthright, and Emolga.  Just relaxin', enjoying the time...

When Forthright and Ralts have dozed off, he quietly sets the book down, smiling.

...he can't help but think about that Carvanha egg a little more before going to sleep, though.

"...so, Furret...awkward question time...the egg...my pokedex thinks it'll hatch in about three days...do you...think you're ready for that?"

Smaw she would do for herself as she's inexperienced while he's 'knowledgeable in this field' as he said, but as she already explained to him this is by no means a disadvantage or bad thing for her at least - instead it was somewhat the other way round - being exactly what she was silently seeking out in a partner and what attracted her about that oddball of Sociologist whose arms she was still holding as he paged through that leaflet. While he does so, she keeps a coyly curious gaze on him, hoping to catch up any reaction or response from him that'd show how he feels or thinks about this evening out.

She mostly sensed how nervous he seemed to be, something she naturally understood as it wasn't otherwise in her case, and that timid yet honest smile and faint tremor in his voice confirmed this to her. ....It caused her to hug his arm a little closer as they were walking down the road, eventually Shiva casted a glance up to the stars being visible due to Cress City's dim lighting. They looked back to her, almost smiling.

No words were responded to Ventus, but he and his empathy certainly do pick up how it's not only him whose being nervous about things. At the same time, she greatly looked forward to this trip with him, and his confirmation of hot tub first then dining awoke a slightly embarrassed feeling mostly because of the foreshadowing of...well, seeing him half-naked. Eeeeek! She knows she already did when Pancham hatched, but that was his 'mistake' and she was more occupied with her new panda than with being timid. That'd also mean she'd see these scars he bears due to that encounter with a Skuntank - thinking of these made her a tad bit sad due to being reminded on what he had to endure in his life over the years. Eventually, a few words escaped her in a silent voice. "Thank you, Ven... I believe in you. You deserve good things coming back to you."
