[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

Kimono Girl vs Heart Round 4

Spend that Will point!

Dual Chop, required to hold back
4* Dex + 3 Fight +3 Brawl -0* pain -1 acc = 9d6
(5)(2)(5)(5)(2)(1)(6)(5)(5) Critical hit
4* Str + 2 power +1 STAB +2 crit -3 vit = 6d6
(6)(4)(1)(6)(3)(1) Umbreon takes 1 dmg 4/7hp

Umbreon begins glowing with a powerful attack, but the Girl dances closer and whispers a different order. Umbreon instead prances through shadow again and just pushes Koa over lightly. At the last second before he hits the ground, she catches him in a dancing dip move.

Pursuit
(4)(2)
(5)(1)(4) Koa is out of the battle.

Since the experience is the thing, Koa still gains 3XP and Heart gains 2. You also get 1 extra XP for yourself because your initial post about the music was really good!

"*snort* If you have to ask, you can't afford them! I suppose the Geodude reprint is pretty reasonable...I would let that go for $2000."

He's a little nicer when you talk about the Ditto card. "Oh, these are such a funny gimmick. They don't sell well though. For you, just $100, our standard price for a rare. They retailed for $400 but no one was buying. Bit of a shame. I'd throw in a card protector for free if I can get this funny Ditto to a good home."

(Thanks Iron! Just more 3 XP to finally able to change Rivalry. That move indeed just have bring problems instead of good things)

Even loosing Heart enjoy quite a bit this battle. He pick up Koa and talk once again with the woman. "Thank you for the this great battle lady. I enjoy very much this Ceremony." Then Heart bow in respect to the Kimono girl and her Umbreon. Koa mimic the same action of Heart.

Mechanic: Unless there is other thing to do, Heart is going to relax a bit and wait for the nightfall and go to the Cathedral along with Hypno! Lets see what kind of mystery is there...

Ventus genial smile sharply turns into a half lidded eyed frown at the clerk's attitude, not in the least bit impressed or amused with the curt sass he was giving him for simply requesting a price of the Keni Morisugi's cards, and to a potential customer no less! "My, don't you have a charming sales pitch. I can now see why your storefront is so revered and exalted in Cress City, sir. Unfortunately, a man of my meager earnings can't afford such prestigious Items, so I will regretfully decline my offer to purchase them. In fact, I believe everything is out of price range, so its best I leave and not waste any more or your precious time, as it Poke as some might say. Have a good day," he said to them with a deadpan look and the most polite yet dry and biting tone of voice he could muster, and then he pivoted and calmly marched out of the store with nary another word or spared glance. as he headed over to the Center. At least there he has a pleasant transaction he's looking forward too....

Seeing her master leave in such a disgruntled state, Malphena stopped mooning at the Special Ditto Card and shoot the green haired clerk a sour look for both displeasing her master AND indirectly costing her a gift, before she chased after her master, stopping only briefly to *Hmpt!* at the store keepers. If their one thing she loathes more that bullies/overly forceful acts and Dark types, its when people are just plain rude for no good reason at all. Their attitude would be understandable if she or her master did anything to aggregiously offend them, but since that wasn't then case sod them!

Order: Have Ventus leave the shop in a huff at the poor customer serive/lip the clerk gave him, and head to the Center to wait for Heart so that they can conduct the trade/transaction (Scyther will automatically go into the PC). If/When Valder comes back, my character will use Haziel to Teleport to and from the Stair/The Department Store to purchase a Potion and Sandstorm TM (If he can't find Sandstorm outside the Dpt Store for the same price its listed in there, he's buying it FROM their; total purchase cost $3000 Poke total, exactly the amt Heart will give him), he'll remove any obvious signs that it was purchased from the place. He'll then shot a voice message to Nathan, saying he has a 'surprise' for them and is waiting in the Pokémon Center lobby. My character is a fairly tolerant man I think, but when he's given sass for simply ASKING for the price of something and treated in a condescending manner, he/I wants not part of their business. Sorry Dragonstrike, but looks like Ven's not helping out with purchasing a Booster pack....

Heart gets a pale white flower with a Pokeball pin on it. You can see the delicate veins within.

Hahaha that's great.

The white-haired woman gives the guy a cuff and says "Now see what you've done! Freakin' gamers. They've ruined gaming."

Only Nathan (and Shiva if she's there) hear.

After finally selling the Garnet along with his money, he finally enter in the Pokemon Center, searching for any of his companions. He sit in the table and send a quick message to him telling he already have sell the Garnet and he is ready to make the trade. Before he forgot, Heart make a quick change in his team and put Scyther in the party to finally trade with Ventus. "Time for you to join with a new parthneer. I just hope you can be well with Ventus better you was with me."

...Ventus didn't even answer Nathan's question...

...

...not that Nathan could entirely blame Ventus for leaving so abruptly...still kinda hurts, getting semi-ignored like that, though...

...well, at least the lady seems a bit more...mindful. And Shiva could still help with the purchase...maybe...

Ralts is staring at Shiva now, wordlessly asking her to respond to Nathan's question. Nathan's gone back to looking at that starter box himself, having been semi-distracted by Ventus's outburst...three decks, three types...or two decks with two types each, maybe...three Legendary Birds...

...another reason he's distracted is because he's also thinking about the cost of that Geodude...$2000, and it's only a copy of the real thing...how much did his uncle pay for that Skarmory card, then? Again, it's only a print, but it was probably still somewhat pricey...

...he's also looking at those card protectors. Maybe some boxes for storing cards as well. Maybe playmats and dice and such if the starter box doesn't come with decent enough stuff already. If he's going to be holding on to these cards, he wants to make sure he takes good care of them. At the very least, he'd want to make sure his Skarmory card stays in tip top shape for as long as possible...
