Your strategy works, as Tanuki is saying "Now!"
Spinda acts before Nidorino.
Insight: (4)
Sucker Punch
5 Dex + 3 Fight + 4 Brawl -5 actions -1 pain = 6d6
(3)(1)(6)(1)(6)(2)
3 Str + 3 power - 3 vit = 3d6
(5)(6)(2) Nidorino faints.
Poison Point: (3)(4)(3)
"Good job, Spinda. That's a hard move to pull off while confused. Who's next? I'm not interested in any more coinflipping!"
Heart stops for a few seconds than he put out the pokeball and have return Nidorino. When Heart put the pokeball back in the bag he talk again. "I fortreit this pokemon battle. I came unprepare this time, so I surrender (Other words: Couldnt put the right pokemon I would in the Character sheet). Thanks for the opportunity to battle." Heart say and stop fighting.

"Oh...well, OK then. I don't accept back-to-back battles from challengers, so you'll have to wait a bit. Tomorrow afternoon, or later, will be fine."

Heart make a respect bow then follow his path toward the exit and maybe wait for Nathan in the entrance of the Gym.

...well, that's anti-climactic.
Nathan was hoping to see a bit more than...well, that.
Whatever that was.
...well, at least he got to see...a little of Tanuki's battle style. Only a little, though.
Welp, time to exit the stands...
...Nathan's not heading to the entrance of the gym, though.
He wants to talk with Tanuki. It should be possible for him to catch up to her somewhere in the gym, right?

Sure, by remembering back to the doors, Nathan is able to predict Tanuki's path and intercept her. She seems a little down.
"Hi there, challenger! I'm afraid I've just finished a battle - was that you in the stands? - anyway, I need to rest my Pokemon briefly before I can accept another challenge. You're welcome to hang out in the waiting room."

"Yes, that was me in the stands. Heart is a part of the group I travel with." He wasn't really impressed by the outcome of that battle either, so the tone's a little flat.
Nathan sticks out a hand to shake. His tone is a little bit lighter for the next part.
"Name's Nathan. Nathan Warren. Glad to meet ya in person, Tanuki. Probably a surprise to you, but I'm not a potential challenger today. That'll come later. I actually needed to speak to you about something."
Ralts looks up at Tanuki and waves, trying to cheer her up a little. If Nathan can try to be a little more chipper, so can she!

"Oh, sure, let's go grab some beanbag chairs." Once comfortably seated, she releases a Furret and a Zigzagoon and cuddles up with the longbody Pokemon while the 'goon sniffs you curiously. "What's on your mind?"

Nathan gets comfortable and has Forthright in his lap. Mama Furret curls up around Nathan's bag, while Ralts goes over to Zigzagoon to say hi! (Charmeleon's been recalled for now)
"Mt. Sentry, actually. Or, more specifically...the depths of the mountain's tunnels. My group's looking for something that's supposedly hidden down there, and we have to find it before someone else does. It's rather important. Something bad could happen if we don't find it first...have you bychance seen or met anyone wearing metal gauntlets as of late? They're part of an organization known as Scimitars, and they're rather desperate to find what we're looking for. That commotion at the Little Cup was caused by them. They were trying to kidnap one of my friends because they thought she knew something..."
He waits for Tanuki's reaction to that.

"I was filled in on the events at the Little Cup. I don't think someone with a steel gauntlet would be able to blend in with Cress City. So no, I haven't seen or heard about such a person around these parts. I'm just remembering your name...Dagny told me I could trust Nathan Warren and friends. Can I see your Trainer Card?"
Assuming you allow it:
"Great. Well, I've been training in Mt. Sentry since I was a little girl. But, it's shifting constantly, dug out by Onix and Furret and so on. Oh, and magnetic forces. Go ahead and fill me in and ask any questions you have."

"Good to hear. Thanks for keeping the LC running normally while that nonsense underneath the tower was going on. It was quite messy, let me tell you. Would have been even more messy if you hadn't kept things proceeding as normal."
*shows trainer card, then puts it away once it's returned*
"So, where do I start...? Hmmm...oh, well, guess I better open with what exactly we're looking for. It's a library of some kind located deep underground. We think it's called Atheneum, and it supposedly contains all the knowledge that was needed to set up the First Kingdom. The Scimitars think there's a few things hidden in it: namely, some kind of super powerful gauntlet or something, and information on Sarimanok's Genesect army, primarily anything to do with how he created them. They were hoping to kidnap Shiva at the LC because they thought what she'd heard concerning Relic Stones might be related to how to reach Atheneum."
"We're trying to beat them to the library and get those items before they do. Problem is, there's almost no information on Atheneum in official records, so the only definite lead we have is that it's probably somewhere in Mt. Sentry's depths because the Scimitars seem to be convinced that that's where it is. Can't blame them for thinking that, though. If I wanted to hide something for an unspecified amount of time and had no intention of ever returning there, there's probably few better places than an underground maze that changes frequently."
"Dagny's been trying to find more info on it since I tipped her off about the name of the place. I've been waiting to hear back from her. Shiva's attempted to get some help in finding it by hiring Mr. Finder from the Violet Tent. You probably know of him, right? Personally, I'm not sure if he'll be able to find what we're looking for based on the smell of old books...it's the best idea I could come up with based on the information we currently have, though. Shiva figured we should probably accompany Mr. Finder on the trip, and everyone agreed to leave sometime after tomorrow afternoon."
Nathan pauses for a moment before continuing.
"...so, I guess I have two questions for you to start with.
- Have you ever encountered anything reasonably odd deeper in the tunnels? Like, it seemed a little out of place or something. A Relic Stone is typically described as a tall pillar of black stone with runes etched into it. Or maybe there's writing or pictures on the walls or weird rocks or tunnels or something that don't look like a part of the natural formations. Stuff like that, or maybe other things. Any clues would be helpful.
- Any general tips for finding our way around down there? And for getting out? I'd rather we not get lost while we're exploring if at all possible. Next best thing to you actually accompanying us, but I don't want to trouble you too much if you're busy with other things. I think we might be able to find our way around down there if we know what to look for and do...maybe...
...oh, and if you have any questions for me, ask away, and I'll do my best to answer them sufficiently."
