This is now canon.

You only think that because you're Confused. (I forgot to look up the specifics)

If it has Hustle, each STAB attack will have at minimum + 8 Damage Dice behind it if he controls them (+5 from STR, + 1 from STAB, + 2 from Hustle), and upwards to +10 if he somehow crits! Plus, if he were willing to invest in a wide lens or Hone Claws TM for it, then it wouldn't have to deal with Accuracy problems from that ability (if it has it!). Even if it has Swarm, that just makes X-Scissors all the more terrifying when its hanging by a thread!

Funny thing is, even if it were to have Truant, the ability isn't quite as bad here as it is in the games since it doesn't trigger 100% of the time due to Loyalty rolls.  And Iron modded it to also grant +1 Strength.  Not quite as strong as Hustle or Swarm, but still not the niche gimmick Entrainment Durant is reliant on almost exclusively for the Battle Maison.

Now that you mention it, that's certainly another option for the bug to have, and can still be passed onto Pokemon that having annoying abilities you want to erase pronto, so its all good anyway!

Even better, Gothitelle admires Shiva's competent handling of the situation and gains 1 Loyalty.

I was secretly playing towards gaining that 3th point of Loyalty for her by this Encounter, thank you that it worked out! Now, she also has enough XP for Telekinesis and Shiva has enough for a long-desired level-up. <3

So long as you're willing to give your opponent +1 Strength in return for erasing their ability and maybe immobilizing them for a round (book's definition of a turn is basically whenever you pop up next in the initiative order and have actions left to take, but since we determined earlier that we're gonna go by rounds instead when determining how Follow Me works...), yup, Entrainment is definitely still a funky niche for Truant Durant.

Next level GMing right there. And Shiva will now know Power Herb by scent, should she come across one.

I lack any moves on my Pokemon that are Charge Moves, however.

Can also share them with everyone else!

Power Herb boosted Sky Attack is scary.
