Tropius is indeed still outside of his Pokeball, and a flash of honest wonder washes over Shiva as Ven mentioned that fossil possibly originating from her grassy sauropodes' ancestors.

Should other group member had difficulty copping with the change in environment, however, the researcher would not hesistate to lend a helping hand, a sympathetic smile, and open ear to their plights. If they were going to find Anthenum, they would do so by aiding each other in whatever way they could, after all!
(IE: If any character has a reason to not cope well with being stuck underground for prolonged periods of time, either Ventus will come and help, or they can come and ask him for help/advice!)

(Shiva might come to you at some point about this, as she's indeed not used to being in such a cavy surrounding without day, night or weather for more than a day. One day in such an environment has honed her senses, but more than one day might and likely will take a toll on her due to the lack of sunlight. You haven't stated whether Ventus agreed with keeping hold of the viale with the goo and loaning it to her once being back in Cress City, Windos! Is he fine with it?)

As soon as they all prepared to turn in for the night, Shiva does hestitantly turn to 'her' Infiltrator-Absol, if he likes he can keep that big feather to play with whenever he likes, including bringing it it to Shiva or anyonelse if he wants someone to join playing. "Dizzy... Please listen, how are you feeling? You're looking not too well, slightly pained, do you still feel confident enough to stay alerted for some hours with the bigger Absol or would you rather return to you Ball to rest? I'm letting you decide, but if you allow me to tell you what I'd desire, I'd rather have you sleep in your Ball to be refreshed in the morning ( = at full HP again, in case another Heal Pulse counts as spamming. I don't like spamming)."

Furret will be up and about after some rest curled up closely beside Shiva, so a Heal Pulse on him is not that necessary yet much appreciated, @Dragonstrike - if possible, I'd rather have it on Dizzy, please.

Alright, if Ralts can't pull off the 4th Heal Pulse (GM discretion since Iron said 3-4 per day), then Ditto will use a Mega Launcher Heal Pulse on Dizzy instead of Furret.

Calam wouldn't mind Dizzy keeping watch with him at all.  Nathan and Ralts would appreciate the company, too.

"Oh, well, to tell you the truth, my bloodhound Pokemon are trained to tap these cards to help me communicate with them. They are some of the things Slurpuff might smell on the path ahead. You see, it's a bit of an...exaggeration...that I do all the finding and sniffing myself. So don't spread it around, if you don't mind. Here, I'll give you a demonstration to answer your other question."

He lays a field of cards. "Slurpuff, do you smell the source of the black stone?" Slurpuff taps a boulder card and a 'Yes' card. 

"Slurpuff, are there any new obstacles on the way that will slow us down?" 'Yes.'

"Any that are displayed on these cards?" 'Rockslide', 'wall', 'Pokemon', 'hole', 'trap'.

"And I know it will take a little less than a week if we are not delayed at all. So with these delays...probably more than a week! Luckily, there are several long stretches where I've sensed no obstacles at all, other than the rugged terrain."

Dang it, so something's coming...he's pretty tired, but he's not TOO tired, thankfully.  He can still fight if he has to.  Ventus is going to need all the sleep he can get for his watch, Shiva...would honestly probably be 'less than pleased' if he woke her, to put it mildly...Valder doesn't seem like the type who can get by very easily without proper rest...

Nathan attempts to wake Heart up. (Not sure when @Spiritmon is going to be online though since he's enjoying some Skyrim right now.)

Hopefully they can take care of this quickly if they have to battle whatever's coming.  Now then, time to see what kind of pokemon is approaching...Nathan motions to Calam to preemptively prepare a Swords Dance and Ralts to ready a Calm Mind, just in case...
