Notes: Larvesta is burrowed away into the stone just above the coal. It is asleep, dormant. Little burning, sticky threads surround it.

Heart with the help of Rose, was able to climb the place with no great problems. He look around that beautiful cave. When he was walking, he could see a big sticky threads slowing burning. It was above the coal. "Interesting. Lets see what we can find here..."

Mechanic: Roll Insight+Knowledge+Alert to see any other possible danger in be close of Larversta sticky threads. Like make him nervous, etc.

You know that Larvesta tries to cocoon itself away in the months before it evolves. This seems to be an incomplete cocoon. Since Larvesta's ability to respond to threats is lower in this state, it can be more nervous than usual. 
This one's asleep, though, giving it a big penalty to Alertness, and you've never heard of the threads being used as a tactic to sense intruders.

That small white quartz crystal was more than enough for Shiva to have - she mostly wanted one because it looks nice and to remind her on this elusive place as soon as they all where back on the surface again.

She doesn't quite know whether it was Furret's perking up as soon as he saw his Master and dragonslayer in just the right moment to stop her in movement or whether after yesterday's wondering the stars above have guided her to prevent her from being impaled by whatever just fell down there, but truth to be told she had to heavily catch up on breath as she stumbled a step back. Furret came over to her immediately to be close to her, Shiva could sense that he was...scared of something! One moment later she knew of what, as these THREE GEODUDE came falling down as an aftermath of that shock. She didn't want to imagine what could have happened if these three exploded down here....Ugh. She pulled Furret closer to herself to comfort them both.

However, when the 'threat' turned out to be a Carbink... Just like back then in the shiny mine, Shiva was intrigzued, and all her senses, her mood and her state softened due to the pure FASCINATION of seeing that rare Jewel Pokemon. So....incredibly pretty, awwwwwwwwww! <3

Throwing Nathan a look that silently asked to stay with her, she summoned Cottonee to her side, the fluffball somewhat shuddered at the surrounding before she spotted her beloved Master and calmed down. If they're together, nothing can go amiss! But what was that sparkling stonelike Pokemon she then spotted? "Cottonee, dear one....." Shiva calmly spoke to her Starter and beckoned her over, "please take this fluff you shed a while ago, and go greet this jewelike Pokemon. We call this a 'Carbink', and it's just like you a partial Fairy Type! Show it that despite your Type advantage, you mean no harm at all. Show it that you're friendly, offer it to polish the crystals is grows on its body like Carbink do to each other usually."

Mechanics:
Shiva's aim is not to catch it, as she has no use for this precious Pokemon herself apart from the collective and trading reason and would rather interact with it and get to know it. If Nathan wants to battle or catch it, she'd let him, if our 'foes' start a battle - she'll show that Carbink what a fae enthusiast can do! These Geodude... We'll leave them alone.

Nathan's not sure these pokemon are willing to talk. He stays silent for now.  He has a few pokeballs ready to throw, just in case.  He hopes Shiva has some Razor Leafs and/or Bubbles ready if it comes to a fight...

Carbink hops forward, warning Cottonee off. The Geodude flank the Jewel Pokemon, who seems to be their leader. They're still glowing red hot.

That caused Shiva to frown in unpleasant suprise, call Cottonee back to as FAST as even possible - seems like the fluffball was all eager to return to her Master as well upon seeing that this other fairy was not friendly - and retreat a step while not averting her gaze from this Carbink and its three stony underlings. Accidently, she almost bumped into Nathan, and when she faced him for an apology, her expression clearly depicted some concealed WORRY. No fear yet - but it's obvious that she'd rather think twice before doing anything here. How weird, such an agressive behaviour from a Carbink was something new to Shiva, she knows this species as wary of humans or ignoring them and friendly when approached carefully.

"I'm sorry, Nathan! Really. But.... You know, it feels to me that starting a fight here might not be the smartest idea."


(If we have to pass a Dexterity Roll to make an escape, I hope that it's possible that we do so mount on Swiftfire, as Nathan has more Dex than I do.)

Looking at that Carbink and observing the situation, Nathan's feeling a few things.

1. It's a Carbink.  An incredibly rare pokemon, and one with some incredibly interesting lore surrounding it too.  Wow.  That's kinda exciting.
2. Those Geodude it's ordering around...they look ready to go boom if given the order...that's also exciting, but not in a good way.
3. ...that Carbink almost fell on Shiva.  Also exciting...but REALLY not in a good way...

"...we're not the ones starting it.  And we need to travel in this direction.  Going around is going to take who knows how long."

He gives Shiva a sideways look, trying to keep an eye on the Rock types simultaneously to make sure they're not getting any closer.

The next comment he makes to Shiva is quieter.  "...I can immobilize two of those Geodude, and I doubt they're going to risk mortally wounding each other.  If you can either KO the third one or flinch it or freeze it or something, or if the third one doesn't self destruct because one of the other two was going to, then we can probably take them down without any explosions occurring.  Or we could try and KO Carbink before any of the Geodude can act.  They might not self destruct if they'd lethally wound their leader.  That's basically a death sentence down here for wild pokemon, regardless of who wins the battle."
