Ventus holds his chin thoughtfully as he witnesses the seeming failure of the spar triggering its Evolution......until he releases it and snaps his fingers as he realizes what could be the metaphorical roadblock!

"Ah! I think I know why you've haven't metamorphed into a Ninjack yet: your metabolism is still slowed down from your gelid slumber! Another possibility is that your too famished to Evolve, as your prolonged slumber has drained your fat reserves, thereby forcing your body to delay its Evolution in order to focus your remaining energies to sustain your vital function- keep you alive and moving, basically. Either way, I know the perfect solution to either delimea: food and drink!"

Saying this, the empath pulls out a few pieces of bread and some leftover fruit jam from his satchel,  one of his bottles of strong tea, and a small paper plate and bowl. He lays the food on the plate, pours them enough tea to sate their thirst, and then back away to a respectful distance to let them eat without his imposing presence lingering over them. During this time he also waves his brother over to his side, letting them rest a little as Toxic Heal recovers the damage he's taken.

Order: Share some food with the poor little bug! Maybe some extra energy in the form of carbohydrates and caffine will kickstart things for it?

He listens as well ...yeah, he can hear more bell sounds somewhere nearby...

These are big ones, with tiny eyes and stunted ribbons, but extra-large mouths and clappers. They immediately start wailing when the mild breeze of your entrance stirs the fern.

Oh. Have these chingling sounds already messed with Shiva's mind without her noticing, or was this an afermath of being under Lilith's Telekinesis? "....*toneless cough* Indeed, Chiingling I meant. Forgive me." How embarrassing. (I shouldn't write RP-posts after 1am then) To Shiva, these little bell Pokemon are incredibly cute and not so rare if you know how to obtain Eggs containing these!~

Anyway, onward! With Gothitelle and Furret by her side, Shiva stops right away at the sight of SUCH Chingling - they looked so weird, somewhat less cute than 'usual' Chingling, but nonetheless very intriguing. Like real suzu bells! Their wailing does not impress her, living in a metropolis and a Daycare that's practically plaqued with the sounds and cries of young Pokemon (oh, and Lucifer's Screeches she received) must have somewhat desensitized her. That doesn't mean that she doesn't react though - in fact, their crying and their affinity(?) with the glowing fern caught her attention.

Very carefully and slowly, deliberatingly emitting a body language that she does not mean harm, Shiva got closer, her gaze not leaving this group of Chingling. As she has came as closest as possible for her and as closest as these Pokemon allow her, she mildly smiles up to them and spoke in the softest voice she could come up with in her current state. "Well, hello.... I knew that I didn't hear things. Your chimming intrigued me, and I followed..... Do you remember this sound?" *letting the Soothe Bell ring a little, before coming closer Shiva had Lilith lend it to her* "I made this sound, you responded. Now..." *If it's within her range, she very softly strokes over one of the fern leaves (not the one the Chingling are attached too though)* "I know the species of you. Though, I know you in a slightly different form! Smaller. Cutter. And more quiet.... Please do tell me, have these precious ferns and the Tochu roots something to do with your honed skills in chiming? Please give me two rings for a 'yes' and one for 'no'."

At one point, Shiva also threw a glance over her shoulder to Nathan - to her, these Chingling were fascinating. Silently, she tried to tell him to that she's having things under control - or aims to have it - and whispered a low "Prepare a Lucky Chant, please."

Nathan just wordlessly looks at Ralts to confirm that order.  He doesn't want to make a sound right now if he can avoid it...

Nuzleaf Trap Round 2

Nuzleaf raises its hands and requests aid from the roots. They immediately start releasing spores.

Nature Power 1 on Rose
(1)(1)(5)(1)(6)
(4)(3) - No damage, 'cause this is grass type
Sleep chance: (2)(5)(6) Rose falls asleep!

Dragon Rage 1
(3)(6)(5)
Nuzleaf takes 2 dmg

Extrasensory 2 on Rose
(1)(2)(1)(3) Miss

Dragon Rage 2
(5)(3)
Nuzleaf takes 2 dmg 2/6hp remain.

Nuzleaf runs away, further into the depths of the tunnel.

Koa's rage has built hugely... he rants and raves, ignoring his sleeping teammate and his wounded trainer. Empowered by Dragon Dance and anger, he sets his claws into the grating and heaves on it. 2 successes necessary.
(4)(3)(4)(2)
He cracks it right out of its moorings! Light surrounds him as he pounds down the hallway in pursuit of the final Nuzleaf.

Rivalry: (4) It's male.

Assurance 4
(6)(6)
(5)(5)(4)(2)(5)(4)

You hear Koa knock out the Nuzleaf in an adrenaline rush. He uses a physical attack you haven't observed him use before, but since at this point he is just a fading point of light in the distance, you aren't sure what it is.

When you come out in search of him, you don't find an Axew, but a larger and fiercer dragon!

Congratulations! Your Axew has evolved into Fraxure!

Lucky Chant
(2)(5)(3)(3)(3)(4)(6)(4)(3)(5) - it can barely be heard over the Chingling.

Empathy: (5)(6)(1)(1)(4)(1) = 3 successes

When Shiva asks her question, they all stop ringing for a short time, then respond with a single ring for "no."

Nincada doesn't eat, but it does sip the cold tea a bit. This is actually a good sign - they don't eat at all during the days before their evolution. When they emerge from their skin, they usually eat ravenously.

Nincada is still not producing those needed hormones.

(Ah, if your rolled Insight+Empathy, you accidently missed 1 dice. However, Shiva has gotten she desired answer, so it doesn't matter right now - further it might and will, though.)

Shiva may not have heard that Lucky Chant, but she can surely feel it.

"No? To me, it looked like it is. Anyway..." Shiva keeps softly stroking that fern leaf with one finger tip, partly to keep a up a feeling that she and her companions don't mean massive harm, and partly because "Regardless whether this fern has 'powers' or not - It still like it. You five surely are lucky, having found yourselves a home at such a place...." She withdraws her hand, but keeps that mild smile.

Such place - "Ah! Do your honed skills possibly have to do with the surrounding, this tunnel I mean? Like, this tunnel isn't too big, and the Chingling I know usually live uuup there on the surface" *pointing to the ceiling* in the care of humans. Not directly for battling, these I know aren't too strong and are mostly used as a companion. Or for decoration, as some people find the quiet rings pleasant and relaxing. I do as well, but do not own one of your species myself. Now, in this surrounding, have your developed such oversized clappers in your mouths due to the walls echoing your rings, in a manner of trying to keep up with it, over and over again until you're so loud as shown? Again, please give me two rings for a 'yes' and one for a 'no'.
You know, there's a move that exploits exactly that - Echoed Voice, each time you sing, ring or clapper, you're getting louder. ...I'd demonstrate to you, but I can't as none of my own Pokemon companions know this move - if we'd be at home, I easily could."

ONLY IF the Chimecho allow/don't express distress, Shiva will now try to touch one of them the same careful and dear manner as she did with the fern leaf - how do they react, agressively, refusing or friendly?

The Chingling ring you another "no" in unison.

When you try to touch one, they all go skittering about on their leaf, avoiding you as best they can.
