Firendly reminder that Valder has Zippy.  Just sayin'.  A freshly evolved Ninjask isn't much stronger than a Combee (unless the Nincada knew Metal Claw before evolving, but they'd probably still want to avoid Rock and Ice types anyways despite the surprise coverage)

....I see your point, but Ven has mostly forgotten about them, and so he said that comment in complete ignorance. As for relative Strength, you are right, but between Speed Boost, Harden, Mud Slap, and Night Slash/Leech Life it has plenty of methods to deal a LOT of damage and survive!

Speed Boost takes a round to kick in, though.  Zippy just always has +1 Dex (well, and -1 Vit, but that can be worked around).  Only thing Night Slash really has going for it over Bug Bite/Gust is the increased crit chance (well and type, but that only REALLY matters if the opponent is weak to Dark or resistant to both Bug and Flying).  Leech Life is kinda weak without some extreme Strength Boosting/Defense lowering shenanigans, unfortunately.

Anyways, it's a moot point now since Ninjask is headed to the PC.

Wait a moment, @Iron.... Edit, since just noticed these Chingling have 3 Vitality. Means, to guarantee Furret ending this battle, we will NOT hold back.

Fun Fact: I was considering using Feint so nobody could outspeed Calam, period (lol), but decided against it since I didn't want to hold back on the move in the event he doesn't crit or doesn't roll 2-3 damage (if I did and he did 0-1 damage, well...he'd do 0 damage).

Having large dice pools is a lot better when you don't have to worry about fainting the foe, that's for sure.

Wait a moment, @Iron.... Edit, since  just noticed these Chingling have 3 Vitality. Means, to guarantee Furret ending this battle, we will NOT hold back.

If you do 2-3 damage though in a 3 D6 pool without holding back, you'll faint the poor thing

Well, how much exp does everyone get for those Chingling, @Iron?

Also...is Heart lagging behind everyone now (since he got trapped in a side path and is now dragging unconscious, lethally harmed Nuzleaf along with him), or has he caught up with everyone by the time we reach the next set of encounters?  This is a rather important question...on top of how the local wild pokemon might react to such a scene as well...

As for Ninjask, woo hoo! Still slightly Disobedient, but with 3 Loyalty and a suit of options for him to employ regardless of orders, its not all that bad! That, and when I eventually get Sword Dance and maybe Baton Pass......hehehehe.......

Have a question for the group, though: what ever happened to that TM for Ariel Ace? Nobody said anything about it, and I only remember it just now due to it being one of the only Flying moves Ninjask can learn, knowing its final fate would be helpful!

Well, Heart kinda already use it on Aron. As a side protection against Fighting-types in the future.

Another point that is worth asking is whether or not he got that Valuable Item , or if he ended up leaving it behind/it was a fake all along. Cant forget about the detail that started the whole ambush in the first place!
