Shiva has been allowed to live out her pure fascination now. Alolan Vulpix would probably love this place, all the snow. <3

Creative thinking put those dice there, though! Good job to everyone thinking of ways to justify diplomacy. That's a challenging part of RPGs if you ask me.
+1 XP to all.

Awesome! XP its always a awesome thing! Thanks godnessI have bring Patrat with me, whoosh. He will become Watchog one day...

Malphena probably would have been screwed, but Raphael would have given them quite a run for their money with his Nasty Plot fueled Aura Spheres!

Still, diplomacy has its place and purpose, and I am glad it helped us not to have to burn an Encounter in the process! Also, earned XP is always nice~!

Hmmm...even though we would have certainly got past them if it came to a battle, I don't think it would have been unscathed at all.  Weavile are really fast.  And really strong.  And due to Hail from Snow Warning, would also have +2 Defense and chip damage support to make up for their frailty.  Ick.

I am VERY glad we didn't have to burn an encounter battling them.

He's a...special...Weavile, though, shall we say.  He doesn't really focus on directly fighting most of the time even though his type is amazing offensively.

Everyone can battle, but not everyone is able to think outside the lame box. It's your fault though, as you're bringing up the opportunities and sceneries, so kudos on that!~ What has served as an inspiration for such a catching icy and grassy cavern?
Technically/mechanically, I wanted to save an Encounter Slot, characterwise I didn't want to cause a ruccus and mess with the guardians in such a precious environment.

One more thing: Yesterday I completely adapted to unexpected 180-turn without ranting, so today a bit of soft-repaying by letting me spend a little more time in this scenery/play out some stuff without pressure to move on feels appropriate. What Shiva will not count as an Encounter for her, I guess. K? I'll get to type up things now to get started.

Here's how I built this scene:

I made a list of Encounters that might be found underground (Pokemon and Items, mostly).
This led to the creation of the Biomes. Which led to more lists of possible Pokemon - ice, root, coal - that weren't on the original underground list.
I also have a list of some plot-related/Library-related things.
Looking at all these lists, and thinking about New Zealand (Creshire's inspiration), I came up with the cavern as representative of many of them.

Creshirean Legendaries in general are something to be respected.  I wouldn't be surprised if a few have dedicated followers among pokemon.

This isn't Regigigas they're referring to, though.

Cool. Thanks for sharing, curious what's more to come further ahead! C:

New Zealand? That'd explain the impossibility to connect to other regions from Chreshire. Though on the other hand, this means unique Pokemon inhabitng the region, so hooray! I'm mostly enjoying the birds that only live in New Zealand, eypecially Tui.

Hey, Iron, if I'll collect all that stuff you mentioned there (Weavile feathers! <3) and then do something casual ( = not tirering) in that area before something from outside has to somehow remind her that they have to move on, will that count as an Encounter for me? My Inventory is so filled with collected stuff and things Shiva finds and keeps already, but I like that - you only travel a region once - and maybe one thing or the other can turn out useful in specific situation. Or it's simply for roleplaying.
