It's good to see that Emily was paying attention to what Reiner had to say.  It's comforting for him, even.  He's happy to return that hug.

"...thank you, Emily.  You're a wonderful young woman.  I'm sorry you had to grow up so fast, learn that things aren't always as black and white as they seem..."

After a minute or two of that, it's unfortunately time to break the hug.

"...well, on a lighter note...I made some new friends today.  You want to meet them?"

The little miss giggles at the flattery and concerns you sent her way, her spirits feeling greatly lifted despite how dour their previous topic of discussion was. Of course, that just further solidified the fact to her that you were a nice guy underneath that hardened criminal exterior you've built up! Petrel would have a field if he ever finds this out, and probably increase his attempts to get you to 'lighten up' too!

The other Executives and the Boss, though.....

"Hehehe......your welcome, mister! I'm not only a big girl, but a great artist too, so don't you forget about that!"

When you brought up your newest furry additions, Emily started bouncing up and down, barely able to contain her excitement!

"Yes yes YES! Let me see them, mister! I want to draw their pictures, and cuddle them if they let me!"

"Alright then.  Do forgive them if they're a little...shy.  I found them in the alleys this morning, just barely scraping by.  Be gentle with them if they're a little wary and/or scared."

Out come Ridia and (hopefully conscious by now) Poe!

"Emily, meet Ridia and Poe.  Two little Eevee with untapped potential that I hope to help them grow into.  My little furry friends, meet Emily, a nice young lady with a talent and passion for art...and a love for normal types like yourselves."

Poe was indeed conscious when you released him and his sister onto the bed, and Emily couldn't help but let out a cute little squeal at the sight of two fluffy Eevees!

"Eeeeeh, EEVEES!!! Pleasepleaseplease can I pet you!!!"

Little Bro predictively reacted poorly at first to such noise and exuberant energy from the little miss, flitching away from her and backpeddle right into your arms and curled up their protectively, while Ridia was swift to put herself between him and her, letting off a warning grow + giving them a glare as their fur bristled on end. No one lays a hand on her brother without her permission, least of an girl that scared him!

To her credit the smol artist quickly cottoned that he childish excitement was driving the two away, and almost immediately calmed down, offering both an apologetic smile while rubbing the back in embarrassment.

"Ehehehehe......sorry about startling you, Ridia and Poe. I just never got to see an Eevee in person before, and I got a little too excited..... Can you forgive me....?"

With that declaration, both the Eevee siblings started to calm down themselves, though in there own distinct ways. Ridia ceased her aggressive stance towards her and settled herself on the bed, though she hasn't stopped giving the girl the stink eye, while Poe unfurled himself to give her a look of timidness and uncertainty. Emily seemed to deflate a bit at the realization her first impression may have spoiled any chances of friendship with the two brown furballs, though it didn't completely kill her good mood. After all, she did get to meet a couple of Eevees, and she could always try to engarciate herself to them later.

As for how you react to all this......

It was slow going, as every few strides he'd stop in hesitation or twisted his head around to look at you and his sister for reassurance, but eventually he was right before the little miss, nervously staring up at her with wide eyes.

Meanwhile, Ridia only gave you a surprisingly effective deadpan expression that clearly said "Noooo, really? " , before sighing and shaking her head. When you managed to persuade her Little Bro over to Emily's side though she was quick to shot you an irritated glare that conveyed the notion "Just what the hell are you trying to pull, buster?!" , quite displeased with you for coaxing them over to the (in her opinion) untrustworthy + overexcitable girl. She then turned away from you to go fetch/drag her brother away from the girl's 'dangerous' clutches......

.......only for you and her to see the both of the cuddling each other, the little miss snuggling petting their scrawny body in one hand and gently caressing his head with another. They were lost in their own little world, the smol artist attention squarely with a half lidded eyes paired with a kind and caring smile, while Poe was in bliss at her tender ministrations, eyes closed with a smile on his face and every so often letting at a cute "Eevee...!" It was frankly such sweet and adorable sight you felt like at any moment you'd contract diabetes and suffer cardiac arrest.

Yes, it was THAT adorable.

Big Sis , inured to her own brother's ample Allure, could only stare gobsmacked briefly at the pair, before she snapped out of it with a shake of her head, before turning back and fixing you with a grumpy stare that conveyed the notions: "Okay, so you were right about. I'll let you off with a warning this time......"

Things continued like this for awhile, Emily happily cuddling Poe while you and Ridia watched on with varying degrees of affection/aww! (though she tried to hide her own reaction; got to keep up a tough, stern image!).

Strange, how almost a week ago you were all but an unrepentant criminal, with only Petrel and maybe Proton as your friends/aquantices besides your Pokémon, soley motivated but the drive to become a Executive and use that power to enact your revenge against the Elder that unduly wrong you.

Now, you have so many people you can call genuine friends (to varying degree), and after some.......'exciting' events you've reflected on your actions and decided to turn over an new leaf, and live by your standards alone.

Guess what they say about The Flower Festival is right: its a truly memorable experience.

Its moments like this that you wish could last forever.......

.....A shame that they can't, with the interesting life you lead, little drake.

Hehehehe.......been awhile since I last stopped by to chew the fat with you, eh?

Probably not long enough in your opinion, but alas life is full of inopportune moments and unsavory events.....!

Which leads us to why I decided to pay you a visit: your stalling, Reiner.

You can't stay with Emily all night, not when you have other business that need be done, oh no no no!

You'll have to confront Mina - or at least try to, anyway - deal with that little jester I had to save earlier from that Delta Muk - your welcome, by the way - and then head off to bed to began your no doubt exciting Saterday.

Reuniting with my soon to be apathetic sister - oh, you don't know how happy I was with your decision, little drake! - braving that Nuclear Research Facility, meeting with Valarie and perhaps his little spitfire of a granddaughter, and figuring out whether or not you want to betray Team Rocket and throw the city into anarchy.

That, and so much more.

I'll give you a few more moments with Emily, but soon....

"...if I could request something Emily, I'd like you to draw the two of them.  These two...they're really special Eevee from what I can tell.  Ridia here...well, she might as well be a Dragon.  And Poe?  Don't let his timidity fool you.  He's developed quite a number of tricks.  He has rather poor health, so he prefers avoiding direct combat if possible, kinda like a Ghost whose only goal is to cause mischief.  Ridia is VERY protective of him because he'd crumple like paper if he was attacked, and has very well honed combat abilities, which only get better if Poe is supporting her without getting directly involved in the action.  They also both know Hidden Power.  Probably rather predictable what types those Hidden Powers are, yes?  I personally think it's reflective of their potential.  If you could capture some of that spirit in a picture of the two of them...well, I think that'd be wonderful.  Don't give me that look, Ridia.  I said she's a talented artist, and I'm not about to lie about that.  I'm sure you'll like the result.  If you need some proof that she can do a good job, I'm sure she'd be more than happy to show you some of her other artwork.  She's drawn a few of my other pokemon already, and she's only been getting better since then, so I trust she'll do a good job."

And yes, we're almost done with this thing with Emily for the time being.  We're not intentionally trying to stall things.

Hmm.....morning is perfect for draing Poe and Ridia, but after we breakfast of course, 'cause its the most important meal of the day! *Yawn* Mmm......hope you have a good night, mister, and maybe talk some sense into Mina if you can!"

Regardless of how you respond to Ridia/Poe, the brother hops right into your arms and look right at you with those Charming eyes of his to carry him, while the sister opts to instead leap up of the bed and land on your shoulder, taking a firm grip and looking right in her element: on top of everyone else, rwar! Both were not that hungry sense they were feed a feast (to them) earlier in the day, but they both appreciate the thought and concern!

You then departed after saying your good night far wells, and made your way to Mina's room, remembering the way clearly since your visit from last time.....

Oh, he was SO looking forward to when it was going to be easy to talk to who he was looking for...though 'talk' is a rather loose term when we get to that point...but that's not here and now.

The immediate issue is how to get Mina's attention...well, let's start with the polite way.

*knock knock knock* (bolding this because it's intentionally louder than he usually knocks since he doesn't know what's goin' on in the room right now)

"Hey, Mina, you in there?  It's Reiner.  Need to talk to you about a few things."
