The further they all decended in this icy tunnel, the more Shiva's fascination of this place grew - yes, it WAS cold and she both kept the robe from the Water Scimitar's base on over her Ranger's Cloak and a feeling of 'I miss you, Braixen' began to bite her until it was almost impossible to take - but Shiva did a fine job to keep herself fine and stable, she very well knew that she HAD too. That, and she was highly intrigued by the sculptures of ice, occassionally she found herself very carefully touching one.

She was also just observing that icy palace the were passing, as that familiar cawing caused her to jerk her head into that direction and take a startled and protective stance, Yena began to growl again. However, the closer the sounds came, the more clear it became to her that she already knew this sound: Delibird! And not even a single one like Zamboni's in Ginger Town, this was probably a whole swarm! Immediately, she plucked Cottonee from her head in the means of withdrawing her fluffball, but it was already too late - her dearest Pokemon chirped at her and clearly had problems to move her leafs in order to keep herself in the air, so as soon as possible Cottonee ended up being recalled. The paralyzed state will go away the next morning (after 24h) - maybe later there will be time to heal her, if necessary.

The Persim Berry is met with a very thankful look, as while it's a common Berry with a not so pleasant taste, it was perfect to cure a confused state of her Pokemon, hooray! It's packed away, while Dizzy is asked to keep a hold of his received one as a Held Item, just in case. (I'll make a note about this) Same with Yena, he hides that beautiful gem in his black neck fur.

That liquid in the cup looked quite much like something she knew from the surface (that sounds wrong in her mind), and it was almost....heartwarming to receive such a thing down here in the icy cavern.... But.... A wondering expression washed over Shiva, as while she was JUST about to take a sip in pure thankfulness, she DID remember what that stew cooked by Heart caused AND she found it odd that the Delibird had access to this stuff. Humm.... Well, there was a way to confirm whether this beverage was safe, and it was right beside her - Slurpuff!~ With a gentle movement, she approached the fairydog and beckoned him a little closer to her in order to sniff the stony cup. In anticipitation, she asked him a soft voice "Does this liquid smell, well, 'safe' to you, Slurpuff? Safe in the means that it can be consumed without negative consequences?"

If it is, Shiva does take a big sip out of the cup, feeling in delighted pleasure how her spirits get all warm and cozy. Haaahhh... Wonderful. <3

While doing so, she took a look at that stone tablet she also received, it's very cold but her fingerless-gloves protect her to a degree. At what is depicted at it... It almost causes her to choke on the drink. Immediately, she looked around - ah, there he was! "Ventus! Ven! @Lord Windos! Dear, please take a look at this!" She seemed excited. Hyped. Fascinated! Because her stony tablet shows a Delibird facing a Shedninja.

With that surprise blue gem Heart give a thank nod to Delibird. Heart himself get a Ice tablet in his hands. The tablet contains pictographs. A Caterpie is facing a Moltres. The Caterpie is wearing a crown. It looks happy. "Guys? I think you should see this." Then Heart show his tablet.

Okay, that one with the Shedinja isn't quite 'Legendary'...but Nathan DOES find it rather...unnerving. Creshirean Shedinja are only created when there's BAD stuff goin' on currently/in the near future, after all...

Heart's tablet elicits a very...different reaction, though.

"...well, that's...odd, to say the least..."

Off the top of his head, Nathan has NO idea what to make of that one...it's even weirder than Valder's...

Shiva couldn't help but to laugh quite playfully as Heart showed them all what was depicted on his stony tablet, but not in a bad way. Nope, this was just hilarious and quite amusing! "Ahahaha, this Caterpie looks like the mighty king of all Caterpie with that crown, it must be a true hero or even a worshiped god if it's facing a real Moltres!~"

She turns to all the Delibird roosting up there. From their looks, they were clearly paying attention to them - she smiles up to them in a friendly manner, even waving a little with her stony tablet still in her hands. "Hello, all of you up there! That's quite a beautiful and impressive palace of ice down here. A wonderful place to live for Ice Type Pokemon!" Then, she bowed a little to them. "Every single one deserves thanks for your generosity. Please, have you possibly created these stony tablets yourselves, are you aware what you were depicting on them? Have you always lived down here? A simple nod is enough as an answer."

A quick Question-and-Answer with the swarm of Delibird. Especially the later question feel interesting to me - how can these Delibird face a Mew downunder and then even set it in stone if they've lived in this icy tunnel always?

Out come the little cards. Slurpuff taps one that looks like an egg, and another that is a sandwich.

"It's safe to eat. It's a bit like Eggnog...is that what you're saying, Slurpuff?" Slurpuff nods.

The stuff tastes like a warm, chocolatey eggnog. It's pretty good, though somewhat bitter. It leaves you with a milk mustache.

The Delibird see you looking at their items in the ice pile, and they get all excited and start looking at you expectantly. They jostle each other for position, trying to be the Delibird nearest Nathan.

Huh. That's...interesting...

Oh, hang on. Nathan has an idea.

He digs in his bag for a moment...

...and pulls out some of those Magenta Flowers that he picked oh so long ago when he first met Masq, then offers to give one to each Delibird.

Yup, about what he expected to happen.

That mason jar is really cool for sure (compared to the tin foil, anyways), though. And lol at Calam getting another healing berry Tongue

Does Swiftfire think getting a pretty green gem is a lot more fun than taking damage? Wink
