Nah, still gonna use it.

Nope, what Windos meant was that you can use that move pre-battle as we were granted an action per Pokemon to prepare, so you don't have to add it to your Orders as you're under the effect of it anyway if you state something like 'Koa, prepare a Dragon Dance, we have a ghost soldier to protect and can't fail on that!".

@Iron

Hang on. Calam should have +10 to his initiative, right? 6 Dex and 4 Survival due to his +1 Dex and Survival Surprise. That means he's got an Initiative of 13, and is still goin' before those Sableye even without accounting for Dex debuffs from moves. He could obliterate one on Round 1 before they even get to move.

Also...how many of these Sableye have Stall instead of Keen Eye/Prankster? That's one of those abilities I never understood the purpose of in-game (why did the already weak Sableye need a purely detrimental signature ability, Gamefreak? WHY?), but it could be a major factor here for obvious reasons.

I rolled everything out with Calam not affected by Tailwind - only the Bridgemen and Ventus' two Pokemon. It does say Tailwind is a battlefield move, though, not a spread move, so in the future I'll treat it as all allies.

As you can see, it wouldn't have made a difference, due to the very unusual circumstances of this fight.

In fact I rather like the outcome of this fight. I'll fix anything egregious like skipped orders, but I don't want to bother changing anything that affects how Bridge's men turned out. Those were some cool dice rolls and really fit my vision of him.

Wasn't Tailwind I was talking about.  It was the other half of his Surprise (the +1 Survival).  Ah well.  Guess I remembered to check that too late...

Whatever, though.  On to the remainder of the battle!

Oh yeah, I see your math is correct now. I had just memorized your initiative awhile ago.

Interested to see how you all shall handle this!

I have a few questions for you, mate.

1. Can Ventus recall Malphena now that she's KOed, or is she stuck until those last few Undead Sableye are properly exorcised?

2. If she's stuck, could Ven summon another Pokémon and command them with no penalties, since Malphena is KOed?

3. Why wasn't the Potion applied to Malphena when she first brought to 4/8 HP?

4. Did you factor in the Defense Boost Evolite gave Malphena? If not, that could potentially save her some damage/Lethal Damage.

5. Can Ven ask for any weapons from the Ghost Brigade that would work on them so he could wade in himself to get some form of vengeance?

6. How many of the group's Pokémon are still standing? Kinda vague on that besides Malphena getting dunked on HARD by the Sableye.

7. How well would exocisim prayers and incense work on them, in conjuction with Shiva's Cleanse Tag?

Yup, you can recall her.  Bridge said to wait for Lucifer to faint before fleeing, so that implies that Mean Look ends when the target faints.

Yule and Malphena were the only ones who were KOed.

If Malphena ends up taking no Lethal damage somehow, I'll have to change my post a little bit (well, a lot, actually), but I'd be fine with that.
